Charlie’s Lock & Key

Bought a house and we were looking to buy all new locks for the entire property. Called Charlie who asked what our ultimate goal was and upon hearing our objective, suggested just re-​keying the current locks rather than replace them all.
Charlie could have made more money changing out all the hardware, instead he suggested the more logical option. Who does that? Someone with integrity.
He showed up as expected, got the work done as expected and was professional and courteous the entire time. On a side note, the previous owner had positioned all the locks to engage vertically (may be a left hand thing?) and while minor, it was annoying as a right handed person (must be how it feels for those lefties!). Charlie took it upon himself to redirect the locking alignment to the horizontal position. It was a small gesture, but believe it or not it mattered.
Highly recommend Charlie. He doesn’t mess around, gets the job done and we feel safer being his client knowing that if anything happens in the future with our locks, Charlie’s is there to ensure everything is copacetic.

As a recent transplant from NYC, I had the unfortunate incident to find myself locked out of my house at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday evening. With the help of a good neighbor who called Charlie’s Lock & Key, I was back in my house twenty minutes later. Charlie is very friendly and professional and went the extra yard to insure that I won’t ever lock myself out again by giving me a device. I will definitely recommend his service!
