Carpet RX of Louisville

I have used Carpet RX on several occasions, and I have never been disappointed. Brandon is always courteous, he arrives at the agreed upon time, and he goes the extra mile to make certain I am satisfied. Although I use the carpet cleaning service more often than the upholstery cleaning service, he has cleaned two of my upholstered chairs on more than one occasion. I was very satisfied with that service, too. I have recommended Carpet RX several times and would not hesitate to do so again.

If I could put zero stars, I would. At my parents home, your company was paid to stretch the carpet. Carpet from a closet was cut to patch a mistake. Also, after the employees left, we noticed the carpet wasn’t tucked under the metal step. When asked to return to finish the job that was paid for, the employees said they couldn’t return that day (and haven’t returned contact since.) I know that I won’t recommend your company’s services to others. The job was not finished, nor worth $ 300.

I called them when I had some water in the basement. They were responsive and came out immediately. Pulled back the carpet and dried it out. As part of the process they cut the carpet in two locations. I purchased new padding for them to install. They came back, and installed the padding and put the carpet back in place. The seams where they cut the carpet are very unsightly. They did not put padding in the closet and several areas under the carpet are missing padding as you can feel it when you walk on the carpet. They did a poor job stretching the carpet and putting it in place on the tack strips, in some areas you can feel the nails. I called and text the person that performed the work and they never called me back. I will have to use another firm to try and fix the poor job they did.

I was a first time customer and have never experienced such horrible service.
. I hired them to clean carpets and furniture and they quoted me one price over the phone and then refused to do the 2 upholstered living room chairs that were included in their phone quote. This is a one man 5 year old company which says allot… he answered the phone gave me the price and came out alone, the other local company I’ve used for 15 years always sent 2 guys out. This guy was so inept that when he cleaned the sofas he didn’t even clean the bottom of the cushions or back or bottom front of the sofas, he said he was finished and I had to point it out to him. He then turned rude and I frankly just wanted him out of my home. I’m also filing a complaint wi the BBB as I paid the full fee but he didn’t clean the 2 living room chairs.
I’ve waited to post a review on here as Im sensitive to how a poor rating can hurt first time customers however after thinking about this for the last few weeks decided I had to post this so everyone would know this is not a reputable company to do business with.
Bottom line, go elsewhere, overpriced and sub par service.

Wow! These guys are excellent! Just moved to town and needed a thorough cleaning of all the floors in the house we bought. Plus I wanted the air ducts and dryer vent cleaned out. They got old paint splatter of beautifully finished hardwoods (no extra charge!). They painstakingly, yet gently, removed all the painted-​over air vents (to clean the air ducts). There were two carpeted rooms in the whole house — sea grass at that — that smelled of dog urine. Carpet RX sprayed their concoction over it all and said that it would do what it needed to do. I didn’t believe Brandon because the smell was so strong, but he said to give it a couple of days and if it still smelled to give him a call and he’d come back out. Sure enough, a few days went by and I didn’t even think about the smell because it had gone away. Not only was I pleased with the services but Brandon and his wife were so nice and funny and honest. We had a great time! I highly recommend these guys and will use them again for sure!

First time customer and very impressed with service. They showed great concern for coming at the time that was most convenient for me. They cleaned a 20 year old sofa set and restored it to beautiful. Personable, prompt and concerned with having a happy customer. We would definitely recommend CarpetRX of Louisville.
