Service is slow and the food is not freshly prepared. We’ve been three times and each time the food is cold by the time we get it. Customer service is lacking at best. While the meats are delicious, the sides are flavorless and clearly not made from scratch. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the better BBQ joints nearby.

First time here today & I will be back! I’m not a BBQ aficionado but I do love BBQ chicken. I asked about theirs & rather than pulled chicken they have sliced, smoked chicken breast. Great smoky flavor & plenty of it on my sandwich. I also had the cole slaw & dill potato salad. Cole slaw a little on the sweet side for me but still good with the meat. The dill potato salad is almost as good as what I make! Good portion size for both side dishes. I went around 4 pm & ordered carryout. It wasn’t busy so it took no time to get my food. Love their original BBQ sauce. The staff was friendly & helpful & answered every question I had about their food. Pricing was comparable to other BBQ places nearby. I am not related to anyone employed there & I had intended to try them & when my granddaughter’s school PTA had spirit night there, I thought it was the perfect time to do it. It’s great that they support a local school.

So this is the straw that broke the camel’s back… first off, the food here is decent, but in the last two months since we’ve been eating here, we receive the worst customer service on pickups and dine-in. Tonight my wife picked up two daily specials(pulled pork sandwiches)… Both sandwiches had cellophane wrapper pieced in the meat of the sandwiches. My wife and son, both pulled cellophane out of their meet. I called and spoke to the manager, Donna expecting some type of refund offer. She only offered an apology and stated she would check the meat out. I was not expecting a handout but I did expect them to rectify this issue. I would expect more from a new franchise in this area. I am Not sure the same owners own both this store and Hubbard Lane store, but the Hubbards Lane store is run a lot more professionally

Went here for a second try tonight with my family. The first time I left less than thrilled with atmosphere but the food wasn’t bad and my kids ate well. First tip — look for a coupon! I think the prices are on the high side and for a family it adds up quickly. Second tip — check out the menu in advance because it’s confusing to read the board and it’s at an awkward angle when you get up to the front to order(like sitting front row in a move theatre, only worse). We enjoy the pulled pork, but it’s greasy and fatty. That’s not typical when you go to other BBQ places like Mark’s, Smokey Bones, etc. The brisket was awful — dry, nasty. Overall the sides are good — waffle fries, cole slaw, green beans, baked beans, fried onions, mac & cheese. They have pickles on the self-serve bar. Seating is cramped. They packed in too many tables. The self-serve bar is cramped too — and messy because the BBQ sauce is there and not on the table. Lots of big screen TVs, nugget ice and free vanilla ice cream cones. Last tip — watch out for grease! They put your food on metal trays and the bottoms are greasy. It’s gross. That’s the kind of thing you get on your fingers which gets on your clothes which never comes out, etc. If you just want to try it, I wouldn’t tell you no. But for the same price, you can go to a nicer sit-down restaurant like Momma’s, Smokey Bones, etc. Better atmosphere, better seating, not so greasy.

I work nearby this place and have considered trying it out since they opened. Do yourself a favor, go down the street for BBQ. This place was awful. I ordered online and the food wasn’t ready when I got there. They informed me that they ran out of coleslaw and asked if I wanted to wait for it to be prepared, which took only a couple minutes. When looking around the store, all you see is canned prepared food… not fresh made. I spent 13 dollars for three meats and two sides, sounds like a lot of food right? Not quite… When I got my food I looked at the meat and discovered that the portions were very small. When I asked the guy behind the counter, he explained that this was the normal portion sizes. The food was okay, but there is MUCH better BBQ places nearby that make fresh, good quality food and will be more generous on portions for the same money that is spent here.

I would have to say I like this place. First time customer. Never even heard of this place before. I travel for work so I am always looking for something new. It’s dine in, take out or use their drive through. The outside looks brand new. Place has only been open about a month. The staff was very friendly. Told them I had never been and they helped with with information on what they serve and about their daily specials. They even let me sample some of their meats. I ordered the Wednesday pulled pork sandwich with sausage, and 2 sides(waffle fries and green beans) and a drink for $ 9.99. Food was amazing. They have 3 barbecue flavors; original, sweet and spicy. All were really good but the spicy was my favorite. I would come back. They also have a FREE icecream machine! 2 TVs and seating slightly larger then a fast food place. I would recommend this place and I would return for sure.

Save your money ! After 23 minutes in the drive through line, I get to the window and they are out of diet coke, then I find out there is no coleslaw, then there is no corn! Really! This is not your first opening Dickey’s ! I open my bag and there was not a napkin or a fork, and to beat all I have a dry as hell pulled pork. With no BBQ in sight . And they never gave me a receipt
