Still the best fried fish in all of Louisville and this is the best of all the Moby Dick’s in Kentucky. This is old school real fried cud and they use real cod and real onions it is not the processed food of other national fish chains.

Would I say best fish sandwich in town? No, but it seems to be better than most. After endlessly searching for a good fish sandwich, I ended up here. It’s been years since. I have stepped foot in a Moby Dick, but I heard good things and I think I liked it back in the day. It’s not a greasy mess like some, it had a good breading, crisply fried. Not much in the flavor department. Sides were good mushrooms and cauliflower are my favorites, she liked the zucchini. Not a bad meal, we have had some flat out bad fish sandwiches during lent and this was not one of them. Would I go back, sure, but I will keep searching for the best in town.

As a kid, i loved this place. It’s changed. Prices keep going up. Food portions keep getting smaller. The last two times I’ve been here, the food was below average. Not worth the price at all. The fish was ok. The hush puppies were very dry with little to no flavor. The onion rings which use to be great, have been over cooked both times. I only gave it 2 stars because the customer service was great. Very nice group both of my last visits.

If you are up for deep fried subpar seafood, this is the place for you. I didn’t even finish my meal.

The food more than anything made me give this place only one star. It simply had no flavor. The fish was super greasy, bland and over breaded, the shrimp was over breaded with a salty batter and when I tried to eat it without breading, it didn’t even taste like shrimp, just warm blandness. The service was ok, the staff wasn’t rude but they weren’t friendly. The place needed to be swept up, there were bits of fish and breading on the floor and a few tables looked like they needed wiping. There were staff sitting around so it’s not like the dining room couldn’t have been cleaned. I wouldn’t return and I most likely wouldn’t eat the food if someone brought me a plate. But I can never say I haven’t tried Moby Dick…
