The customer service at the store is terrible. Even when the store is virtually empty there is no one to help you. And don’t bother pressing the «need help» button, because no one will respond.

this store is HORRRIBLE!!! no customer service, rude employees. I went to buy gifts for friends who were registerd here. next time i will skip the store. the lady who printed out the baby regiestry prinited out the wrong one, wrong name spelling and wrong town (i mean really) i even spelled the name for here. so either she cant spell or didnt listen and dont know what town she works in. how pathetic. the last time i was there a couple of months ago i went to look for the items and none of the stuff was in the right aisle i looked all over. so i went up front and they asked me did i find everything ok, keep in mind i was carrying nothing — so what made them think i found anything. then after printing out regisrty for me, u might think they would say oh we just reset the store nothing is where it is suppose to be. no they cant becuase they dont know what customer service is. like the other guy side, go down the road to target on westport road, you will be much happier. I cant see getting a gift card there or ording on line becuase that give them money to keep going and either the place condones hiring pathetic employees that dont care or they dont bother training them and they dont bother firing them. GO TO TARGET!

We just moved to Louisville and were so excited to have a babiesrus so close! We have been extremely disappointed in the customer service received the past 3 visits. All employees that we had interactions with have been extremely rude. We have watched them treat other customers in the same manner on multiple occasions as well. Luckily, I did all my registering before moving here. It’s worth it to drive a mile down the road to Target or just order online from babiesrus

Outstanding service. We special ordered a glider chair, and it came in fast. The store quickly called us, and were very courteous. Thank you for the nice shopping experience, we love the chair!

Great prices on pouches! My baby loves them so we go through a lot. Clearance racks are always full and great prices!

I registered here for my baby showers. The registry process was simple — I signed up at the store and then went online to find items. I loved the checklist that showed you your «must have» items and the «good to have» items and how you could just click on the item and it was linked to all the available products in that category. Simple, organized, and convenient!
So why the 1 star?! My shower guests had a HORRIBLE experience trying to buy items off of my registry. Most of the items were listed as N/​A (not available) — when asked, the employees stated that meant I must have registered for something on clearance or out of stock, but then the items were clearly stocked in the store — for example, the baby Bjorn — not an item that the store would be discontinuing! Then when my shower guests asked for help in finding an item (because there weren’t bar codes or anything that clearly identified items) the employees told them that the item was «close enough» to what I registered for and I could just return it if it was the wrong item! Umm, isn’t that the point of having a registry? To get the exact items you need?! Finally, the worst situation was the fact that almost NONE of the items actually came off the registry even though every single one of my shower guests brought my registry to the counter and told them that the item was on my registry and needed to be removed. I received multiples of almost everything — 4 rock n play sleepers, 3 baby Bjorn’s, 2 activity mats, 2 changing pad stations, etc etc etc. Not only is this an inconvenience to me since I have to return all of these items, but it was embarrassing for the guests and myself during the showers.
I would not recommend registering at babies r us to anyone! Go to buy buy baby instead — there is one in Lexington and Cincinnati and of course you can order online through them. It is the same company as Bed, Bath and Beyond — very organized and you can even use BBB coupons!

Best place in town to buy baby stuff — wide selection, great prices and staff that is knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and helpful. Our experience with the staff is what compelled me to write a review about this place. I hope management does its best to keep the employees at this location because they are stellar. There are good financing options if you qualify and you get coupons with considerable regularity to help you save some bucks.
