We love My Gym! I’ve never experienced anything negative about this place and we’ve been going for over a year. My son loves all of the teachers and so do I, plus they all make him feel so special. He’s gained so much confidence and the structured classes are just what young children need. They make playing fun, they make learning fun and are instilling a lifetime of confidence and a love for physical activity! The monthly fee gets you a class once a week and if you miss a class you get a makeup for any of the classes offered for the age range of your child. PLUS, there are 5 times throughout the week for practice and play, which is free if you’re a member. It’s pretty wonderful in my opinion!

Unfortunately, I also fell victim to the poor practices of this gym. While the class was fun for my son, the bookkeeping is terrible and there is a lack of responsibility and ethics on the part of the managers, Bill and Julie. As I write this, they still owe us $ 130 for overcharging our credit card after we had cancelled and moved away. They kept charging for many months after our cancellation and they kept reimbursing as I complained, but they never reimbursed us the full amount, despite many emails explaining the problem and my itemizing their faulty billing in a spreadsheet. Parents– be warned– do not give your credit card to My Gym!

All 3 of my kids have grown up at My Gym with Mr. Bill. We tried other places first and Mr. Bill is the simply the best. He is amazing with the kids and makes it so much fun for everyone(parents included). My older kids that are now in school still love going to free play and my youngest loves her weekly class at My Gym.

My son(14 months) is very active and I was looking for somewhere he could go to burn off some of his energy. I found My Gym Louisville online and it seemed like a great fit. It’s located in the shopping plaza in Middletown and we were greeted as we walked in the door. I love free, and your first class is always free. HOORAY! This gym is a gym strictly for kids. There is fun equipment spread throughout the open space and my son was encouraged to run around and do his own thing until class started. When class began, all of the parents and kids sat in a circle with Mr. Bill. We warmed up our muscles, did stretches and performed some fun songs. There are different classes for different age groups, so all of these kids were similar in age. The main part of the class is very spontaneous. Wherever my son wanted to go, that’s where we went. He fell in love with a small red bridge, but also loved the plastic ball pit. There were several trampolines, slides, swings etc… for kids to climb, glide, rock and roll. At the end of class there is a ‘parent separation time’ where the toddlers are encouraged to play solo with different toys and the parents sit back and observe. Both my son and I loved our My Gym experience and we signed up for more classes. If you’re looking for something active for your young child to do, check it out!
