I had a similar experience to Kathy. I had a package scheduled to be delivered on a Friday. I happened to be off work that day and was home, literally all day. I was keeping an eye out for the UPS guy and even had my window open. I then got an email claiming they’d tried to deliver the package and that I wasn’t there. I was there all day and I know for a fact that they didn’t even bother to knock. I’m not even sure if they came by at all.
This has happened more than once and it’s highly frustrating.

Because the UPS delivery guy did not knock on my door when I was very much at home during the recorded time of delivery attempt (a complaint was filed), I had to go pick up my packages at the distribution center.
The woman who helped me was perfectly friendly. But the fact that I even had to go aaaaaaaall the way out there in the first place was total BS. And the customer center for pick up was dingy and filthy feeling.
Thanks to the employee who helped me by carrying one of my two packages to my car, though.
Still not happy about this.

Terrible service. I had been waiting to be contacted by their appointment center for them to make an appointment to deliver a large item. After weeks of hearing nothing, I finally called them. I was told that they were «Just about to call me.» Well what a coincidence! So, the appointment was set up. I had someone stay home all day the day of the delivery. They never showed up to deliver my item. I called UPS and was told that my delivery had been rescheduled and I was supposed to have been informed, but no one had told me. I was told that someone would call me by the next morning. No one called, of course. I had to call UPS back and set up another appointment for the delivery. They told me they would be out today to deliver the item. Someone is home all day again, waiting for UPS to deliver the package. It is supposed to be there by 17:00. They are supposed to call when they are on their way. It is now 17:00. We have not heard from UPS. I have called and was told that it should be coming, yet, still nothing. My friend is still sitting at home all day, just waiting. This is absurd. UPS seems to be unreliable and can’t get the job done. It is frustrating, not just for me, but for the person who sits at home waiting and putting off running their errands and working out, etc. while waiting for UPS who never shows up.

What a completely worthless UPS.
I hate the fact that I have to have my insulin shipped to me, rather than just picking it up at a frigging Walgreen’s, but my dumb-​ass insurance charges me more if I don’t use their pathetic mail service. Their mail service is even more worthless than this UPS, but that’s a whole other story.
So, my insulin shipped out from my Rx insurance company’s site on Thursday, and it was scheduled for Next Day AM shipping.
Do you think I received it Friday morning? If you said no, you’ve got a heaping helping of common sense.
But I thought, «No biggie, as long as it gets here by Saturday; otherwise, I’ll run out of insulin.»
Well, I just checked the tracking status, and it’s just sitting there in this fucking warehouse full of incompetent people, instead of on my front porch where it should be.
They said delivery will be Monday. MONDAY!!! My doctor’s office is CLOSED THIS WEEKEND, HELLO! So, I will be without something I desperately need ALL FUCKING WEEKEND BECAUSE I PLANNED FOR UPS TO RUN EFFICIENTLY AND DELIVER MY INSULIN WHEN THEY PROMISED TO.
Worthless, fucking, sock-​headed, pea-​brained, bovine-​like fools these UPS giblet-​heads are. I wish supreme evil upon you, UPS. You should lay off all the employees at this location. Things would run exactly the same way, but you’d save money by not signing those paychecks. These people deserve to be without jobs, as obviously lazy as they are.
THANKS FOR MAKING ME PHYSICALLY SUFFER. Y’know, I could sue you over this and win. You’re lucky I’m not a litigious person, fop-​heads.
