Stopped by here on our way into town and I’d have to say that this place and another one called Juice are the best smoothies spots I’ve been to. I’ve been around !! We got a chocolate smoothie along with a blueberry smoothie and both were delectable. They have lots of raw vegan options which I appreciate. They also had some great deals on their cold pressed juices, I believe buy one and get one half off. Oh and they had a local watermelon jalapeño kombucha that we loved. Check this place out.

Clean and simple store. The juices and smoothies are a healthy way to replace one meal of the day. I ordered the Sweet Heat smoothie and it’s a delicious protein smoothie with a kick of heat at the end. Great way to stay healthy! Tip: Checkin to Unilocal to save 10%.

Grateful for this little store and so glad I can travel and find a place that will help me on my juicing journey! I Unilocaled before I left home, made my list of what I wanted and got there and was able to get everything I wanted! Decent selection and loved the gal that works there, I got my juices, got a free cooler to transport them and I am a «happy California juicer» in Louisville, Kentucky! This was the first stop I made after arriving at the airport! Got my Unilocal discount for checking in! Win-win!

I tried The Weekly Juicery for the first time today and it was the bomb. The guy working was very nice and helpful and helped me pick a smoothie that had a good combination of everything that I like– and he added in some kale for me too! I got the Blue Magic + kale and it’s perfect for anyone who likes coconut and pineapple. Awesome health food gem in Lou!

Having sampled some of The Weekly Juicery juices and smoothies at a recent Unilocal event, I knew that I would love at least what I had sampled but was looking forward to trying other things on the menu. My kid even loved The Felon Melon and was excited to go along for the drive to get some of this. We went to the Bauer location on the weekend and entered the charming little shop. We looked around while the people ahead of us placed their order and noticed they sold an array of items that shouted organic and healthy. These items included granola bars, crackers, coconut oil, and even red pepper sauce and lip balm. We then proceeded to the counter and placed our orders but were let down when told that they were out of almost every juice on the menu. Trying to find out why this was the case led me to find out the following: –They don’t cold press their juices on site at any of their Louisville locations. This is because their kitchen is in Lexington. They have to guess on how much inventory they should order based on the latest foot traffic. I’m concerned about the efficiency of this method with cold press juice having such a short shelf life. — When I asked what was limiting their ability to cold press their juice on site, I was told that the machine used was expensive. Not sure if the number given to me was accurate but if so it seems like a very easy and necessary investment for this type of business. Some good news I was told was that because of rising demand in the Louisville area, «the kitchen» location was going to be moved to the Louisville area in the near future. I’m still unsure why they can’t stock fresh ingredients on site; there seems to be enough space at the bauer location but I can understand that this may not be the case at the locations located within coffee shops. Though my kid was out of luck on having The Felon Melon this time around, The Weekly Juicery also serves up some tasty and healthy smoothies and stocks ingredients for those. My kid ordered The Love Potion smoothie which was advertised on the wall and I had tasted at the recent Unilocal event. I don’t recall seeing it on the menu and I don’t recall exactly what the ingredients were but it’s something I would order again in the future. Price was around $ 7. I wanted a juice however and though I only had a few options to choose from, they were juices I had not tried. I opted for the Green Lemonade which contains romaine, cucumber, kale, lemon, and ginger. The strong lovely scent when I opened the bottle was just amazing. I have never opened a juice bottle and had such a strong and fresh scent come from it. The price is $ 9.50 which seems high but it is 16 ounces and is comparable to most prices in all parts of the country for cold pressed type juices. Though I was disappointed in the inventory issue, the honest and friendly staff, the charming store, the cleanliness of this location, and the amazing juices and smoothies has made me a fan of The Weekly Juicery.

I was extremely impressed with the friendliness and knowledge Katie had. She welcomed me win a smile and shared the philosophy and how the Weekly Juicery worked. She gave me the in and out on her personal favorites and packages they have to offer! They also set up the juices if your choice to pick up! With detox cleanses, salads, snacks, and other items to choose from… You really can’t go wrong! The green lemonade was fantastic and the blue magic was tasty as well. The best juice bar in Louisville by far!

I have been curious about juice cleanses for a while now and finally got around to trying one. I had heard of The Weekly Juicery for about a year or so and knew that once I finally decided to do one I would go there. This spot is very clean and welcoming. They even have some outdoor tables for their customers to sit and enjoy the weather with their juices. The day I walked in I had not idea what I was getting into, other than the cost. I figured I would do a 3 day cleanse, since doing less seemed wasteful and doing any more days seemed too hard! :) The guy working was very helpful in explaining how the cleanse works, and also gave me advice on how to get through the day with the juices(which ones to drink early vs late). Since these juices are cold pressed, they do not keep many in the store. The shelf life is short, since they don’t add a bunch of junky preservatives and they are also not pasteurized. They use organic produce to make the juices too! Because of this I did have to make a stop back by the next day to pick up my days 2 and 3. No biggie. They even give you a cooler bag with cold packs to keep your juices cold. The flavors in the juices are phenomenal! I mean, it’s literally like eating a whole bunch of raw foods at the same time. Think of a salad but easier to eat and in liquid form. I am a vegetarian so for me this was not a tough thing to stomach. If you are a meat eater… I suggest doing less green juices and mixing in some of their other offerings. I was expecting to have a massive«cleaning out» from drinking these juices. That did not happen. I am mostly glad that I wasn’t bound to the bathroom, but also a bit confused since it is called a cleanse. I assume that it was either because my body was used to consuming loads of veggies or simply because it is not the intention of the cleanse. Either way, I completed 3 days. How did I feel throughout this process? Well, day one was pretty easy. I didn’t really get hungry and while while I was drinking the last juice even felt a bit too full to finish it. Day 2 was another story. I made it through the first half of the day without too much trouble, however by late afternoon I was starting to feel a lack of energy and developed a slight headache. I assume this was due to the low amount of calories I had consumed over the past day and a half. I added up the average amount of calories in the juices and figured out that I was taking in less than like 1000 calories. Well, the one almond milk juice does not have calories listed on their website, so potentially it could be a bit over 1000 depending on that one. Either way, what a huge difference in energy intake. My 3rd(last) day was rough. All the way around. I felt so fatigued and like I really needed something substantial to eat. I made it until late dinner time, and I had to break the rules and eat some food. I felt that bad. I am of average build and I also exercise on a regular basis. I found it very difficult to do much of any exercise during this cleanse, which to me seems a little contrary to leading a healthy lifestyle. I think if the juice cleanse had given me a few more calories could have found a happy medium and lasted through the entire cleanse. Overall, I think the cleanse was a fun thing to try. I was so curious and just had to know first hand. I do not think this is a wise decision for people to do very often at all and definitely not a solid plan for more than 3 days. I think if I had done any more days of this cleanse I would have passed out, literally. The flavors and freshness of these juices, as i mentioned earlier, are great. I mean, they could not be delivered to you any fresher and truer to the produce’s natural tastes. I appreciate the care and thought that The Weekly Juicery puts into their juices. I will most likely not do a full 3 day juice cleanse again. It was not the best option for me. I will however go back to this spot for fresh juices. I think I would like to supplement some meals for juices and maybe have some of the fruitier tasting ones for a snack! The watermelon one was delightful! I wish I could try all of them. Maybe that will be my next goal.

I just visited The Weekly Juicery this weekend. I had heard of it before, but a recent post on Style Blueprint encouraged me to stop by and try the cashew queso. I(mostly) eat gluten and dairy-free, and The Weekly Juicery had several food options available. I purchased the cashew queso and wow — it was delicious. I can’t wait to try some of their other foods, especially the carob cupcakes.

Ok, I’m updating again because each time I’ve been in it gets better! Bring your glass bottle back and get $ 1 off. Also The Nutty Date is amazing! Dates, fresh almond milk and cinnamon. Yum! Still, I’m in love with Carrot with a Twist. 5 stars!
