Wendy’s

So the restaurant was not cleaned very well. Food on the floor and such. There was also gnats flying around. I got my food which was good until I found a hair inside. The kitchen staff should wear ball caps or hairnets. All in all this was disappointing.

Food cooked fresh, very helpful in determining safety for a friend with a severe peanut allergy, and some of the most friendly service ever experienced at a Wendy’s!

It seems odd to review a fast food chain that nearly everyone has tried at some point. Wendy’s food is pretty much standard across the board; I think it is pretty good quality for fast food and I like that they have a few items that are less horrible for you (like the baked potato with low fat sour cream).
But the thing I like about this location is the service. They are quick, friendly and they have yet to mess up an order (even large orders for 4 or 5 people that I take back to work). Everything is properly bagged so it is easy to carry, all the toppings and side items are there as requested etc. I never thought much about the good service here till I stopped at a Wendy’s in Georgetown and got a meal I often get, only there it was missing ingredients, served smashed together and the salad dressing was torn open. Made me appreciate how well run the Westport location is.
Major downside though is the horribly designed parking lot with one of the most annoying to access drive-​through lanes ever. And if you park, then you get to dodge the cars that drive randomly through the lot at odd angles/​outside of traffic lanes.
Oh, and the breakfast is really really tasty.
