So yummy! The homemade biscuits and jelly brings me back to youth. Prices are fair and service is great.

We love Dougs! This is our favorite breakfast place in Loveland. It’s always busy so you know they must be doing something right! Large selection to choose from and all of it is delicious. Friendly staff and amazing pancakes. Bacon is thick cut and fantastic. You won’t regret going here.

I can only attest to brunch here, but it’s fantastic. There will be a wait, but take a quick stroll in the beautiful downtown and you’ll be ready to take a seat in no time. Prices are more than the reasonable, food is cooked to order, portions are huge, and the diner atmosphere is fun.

Has the best grilled biscuits with homemade jam!!! Yum! Breakfasts are great and lunches are also. Weekends can be really busy and you may have to wait. Would recommend week day visits if possible.

Wanted a new place to try for breakfast in Loveland. Glad we picked here. We arrived to a huge wait list and the hostess told us 20 – 25 mins. We waited about 15 and they told us the had seats. We sat at the counter top. Waitress was over quickly to take our drink orders and came promptly to take our orders. I had the Sharon, the other two I was with got the Ranchers and the Hillbilly. Food came out piping hot and quick! Service: Quick and attentive Portions: HUGE Food: Amazingly delicious! The prices are reasonable, the service was great, and the foods was delicious. Overall, this is a great gem in downtown Loveland. I will definitely be going back!

I am very impressed with Doug’s! Our waitress was awesome and the food was beyond satisfying. Lets be honest when you have a family with dietary restrictions it can be really hard to find a place that rises to the occasion. The service was great and I went in hungry and left full and comfortable with plenty of left overs! Thanks!

Went into Doug’s today for my favorite Sharon omelette. This place is always packed and yet, the staff is always so friendly and helpful! Liz took great care of me, like always. Her greeting was a splendid start to my day! See you soon!

Sat at the counter with no wait at 8 am on a Sunday. Waitresses were happy to be there. The cooks were joking with each other. The food… oh my God the food. Come hungry!!! You will either get two meals out of one or a hernia if you eat it all at one setting. The jam… they need to bottle and sell it. The thick cut bacon has a softer mouth feel but it fills every part of your mouth with that comforting flavor. The pancakes are about 9 inches diameter. The breakfast burrito is probably 10 inches long. Will go as often as possible, but can’t eat that much every weekend.

I used to like this place but the last two times I had bad experience. The first one was that I ordered the Sharon omelet with no sour cream the same way I always order it. I was sitting at the bar watching them make it and saw the sour cream go on it. So when the waitress brought it over I said I think they out sour cream on it. So she takes her bare hands and opens the omelet and sees the sour cream. Takes it back to the cook and shows him and he scoops out the sour cream and then takes his towel hanging of of his hip and wipes out the inside of my omelet. So she brings it back and I told her that was unacceptable. She says why is that not good. I had to explain to her that’s the same towel that he has been wiping out pans wiping down the front of his station and who knows what else. I asked if she would eat it. She said no way. The second time was more bad service with part over cooked food part under cooked. I will never go there again. And I used to like this place a lot. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but maybe the owner will see this and correct the problems.

What a gem this place is! My wife, daughter and I hit this place up for brunch on a Sunday and we were very surprised how short the wait was for such a highly rated eatery. The wait staff was more than helpful and very attentive. What ever we asked for, it was brought over with a smile and asking us if we needed anything else. As for the food; we couldn’t say enough great things about it! I had the Ranchers(Chicken Fried steak) and my wife went with the Huevos Soccoros. The portions were HUGE and everything on the plate was incredibly fresh. The griddle biscuit that is packaged with the breakfast meals are almost a meal by themselves and when offered w/their homemade jams, they make for the perfect end to your meal. I think my ONLY suggestion to this place would be to crisp up the hash browns a bit more. Can’t wait to go back and try something off of their lunch menu!

Yes, yes, all the good things they say about the food are true. Maybe not the hash browns though. They were bulky, flaccid, and bland and could have used much more contact with the skillet. One thing that I particularly enjoyed was the griddle biscuit. I love biscuits and I love texas toast, and when you combine the two concepts, it creates something much greater than the sum of the two. On a weekday morning, It took our server exactly 25 minutes to come to our table to see if we’d like something to drink and another 12 minutes to get a few coffees and waters to our table. That kind of service is simply unacceptable. I would have left had I not been spending the morning with my in-laws. Once our order was in, the food came out pretty quickly, but waters and coffees regularly went empty and there was a lot of waiting for our check. I really hope this was a fluke, because I’d like to eat here again without being put in a foul mood.

Had two eggs over easy, hash browns, rye toast and their chili turkey sausage. I really liked the sausage and coffee. Didn’t care for sitting at the bar, the stools are too low. Everyone is reaching for their food. Extremely uncomfortable. That’s probably why the wait for a table. Service was attentive.

Friend’s I’m visiting recommended this place for breakfast and encouraged me to try their breakfast burritos. As they warned me, they are large and you can get them with red or green chili sauce. Both are somewhat spicy with the red being, i think, slightly hotter but with a more complex flavor profile. I had the breakfast burrito with green chili turkey sausage and the green chili sauce. Prices are reasonable and staff is nice and room for everyone. It was a big snow day so someone noted that they crowds would get in later so if you like lots of space around you, go early! Other than that, I did check and they do make their red and green chili sauce in house.
