The food was excellent. My husband got breakfast, and I got lunch(club sandwich) although it was 9am on a weekend. It wasn’t extremely busy, although it took our waitress about 10 – 15 mins to greet us. There were two tables seated nearby who came in several minutes after us but were taken care of before us. The waitress never apologized for the delay either. They have a freshly squeezed juice blend that is on promo right now, and the waitress stopped me when I ordered regular OJ, saying«Are you SURE you don’t want the kale juice? It’s much healthier.» I understand wanting to promote new items, but the wording could be different. It was a bit of a turn off to be ordering something healthy but it be loudly insinuated that you are not. Overall, we would recommend!

Found this spot on Unilocal and decided to check it out based on reviews. Soooooooo glad I did. I was looking for a healthy breakfast. They have a lighter menu which included egg whites, grilled chicken, chicken apple sausage & etc. The taste of the food is great

Oh my goodness where do I start?! I love their coffee and usually buy a bag to bring home. Their waffles are so good especially the pumpkin walnut one in the fall. Even with their crazy busy rushes I have never waited more than 10min to get seated.

We rolled into the parking lot on a cold wet Monday and shuffled our road weary selves in for a late breakfast and a gallon of coffee. Having driven up from Denver where we had been for training, the extra few days we built in were going to be enjoyed in Fort Collins. First thing on our agenda was a meal to stop the belly grumbles. We found the parking lot easy to get into and out of. Service was fantastic; we were being led to a table almost as soon as we walked in. Our order was taken and the coffee served at that time. There was a coffee ninja that slipped around and every time your coffee level dropped an inch, the coffee ninja slipped in and filled it. I say ninja because you didn’t notice them do it, your conversation was not interrupted and they were so quick you just didn’t notice. The food was served quickly and was hot and fresh, the servings were enough(no elf food here). There was no question as to the freshness of the food and it was very flavorful. The coffee was great and tasted like a high quality blend. The Egg and I is now on our list of must visit places for breakfast; it should be on yours too!

When I have my phone up, one of the waitress think I’m taking a picture of her, I mean, really? If a person have their phone up, he/she must be taking a picture of you? That waitress think too much, she is not even that pretty. Lol

Olga was hands down the best waitress that has taken care of us in a long time! She gets 5+ stars for sure!!! 4 stars for our breakfast. I enjoyed the creativity of the menu. Parisian Benedict… excellent, portabella was really good, country fried taters were different but tasty. I had the bacon avocado green chili benedict on a jalapeño cake thing. I think it had too many flavors going on. And it was barely warm. Bacon was too salty and both dishes Hollandaise sauce tasted prepackaged. But Olga was awesome and it was a nice touch to offer a to go cup for my unfinished caraffe of tea. Thanks Olga!

This is hands-down the best breakfast place you will find in Loveland, both in quality and value. No other restaurant has as many egg dishes than this. All their menu items are both creative and full of flavor. On top of that, they are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. They also make a hollandaise sauce that is out of this world! Seriously, if I order an egg benedict anywhere else, it always tastes like feet in comparison to the Egg and I. If you are heading there for your first time, I would recommend either one of their egg benedicts or their green chili chicken hash. Also, make sure you try the hazelnut coffee.

I always leave satisfied! The food is consistently good. Eggs are always perfect, and my iced mocha is always perfect. Waitresses are friendly and you never have to wait long for your order. Love that they remodeled.

Our teen daughter did not like eating here because the pancakes and french toast were made of whole wheat, and she does not care for whole wheat when eating pancakes or french toast(either do I). The menu does not give an option for regular pancakes or regular white bread for the french toast. The waitress said the owner opted to only sell whole wheat, but if he(or she) is trying to show some sort of healthy side, he or she needs to eliminate the butter and syrup too. That is where all the fat comes from. Anyway, most people when they are in the mood for pancakes and french toast prefer not to eat it in whole wheat, and even if some do, there should be an option on the menu for those who do not care for whole wheat. Other than that, the omelet was good, and the Mexican egg dish, but won’t return due to the pancakes/french toast being made of only whole wheat.

Decent Benedicts with mediocre hollandaise. Service in the Loveland location leaves much to be desired, maybe it needs better more friendlier management to help the staff be friendlier? I don’t go here much anymore, but used to when the service was better.

First of all, the restaurant was clean and the service good. The food, however, was mediocre at best. I had the vegetable Benedict and, although it was lovely to look at it and the poached egg was perfect, it was ruined by hollandaise that was obviously from a mix. My husband had hash that was greasy and not the least brown… a disappointment.

Hair in the raspberry granola pancake plate and not comped? All I get is just a card for $ 5 off next time that expires in four weeks?! bad service. Aside from«meh» food. For breakfast in northern CO, better places than this.

one of my favorite, if not my favorite breakfast burrito spot! huge breakfast burritos. one less star because it seems like they had a longer wait than I liked, but still had booths available. perhaps a shortage of waiters?

I generally love the egg & I, but the one here in loveland seems to run things a little differently then what I’m use to. The meal was phenomenal as always. But the service was so so. Usually our server is super excited and warm(which is nice in the mornings!!) but today she just wanted us in and out. And I’m just saying that $ 3.09 for 6 oz of OJ is just not okay with me. At ANY other location they have always given me an actually large glass for the same price. 6 oz is a small, go anywhere, it’s a small. That bothered me, but it probably wouldn’t have if my server connected better and checked on us more often. I have no issue paying for service when it’s deserved. I will be back here, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. But three stars is all they deserve today.

The food was so good. I’m still thinking about the pumpkin Pecan waffles and the pumpkin spice coffee. I believe what I got was called the Colorado scramble. It was soooo good. I can’t wait to go back.

Traveled to Loveland for a wedding. Stopped at this place for breakfast based on recommendations. This place is for reals. Goo-ood breakfasts. The eggs Benedict fanatic gave theirs three thumbs ups. The vegetarians in the crowd swooned over the choices. Coffee was good and plentiful. Wait staff friendly and attentive. I could eat here everyday just to try everything on the menu.

Cute little house converted into a restaurant, or at least that’s what it appears to be. Elderly staff were very pleasant and helpful, and this is incredibly refreshing for me since the norm is a bunch of entitled & self-absorbed Millennials. Food was tasty, especially the French toast. OJ was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Worth the stop if you’re in Loveland.

Always great food and fast friendly service! If you like breakfast, you’ll love this place. My family loves to eat here and you can easily share a couple dishes amongst a table of four. We like to order a whole wheat pancake(the thing is huge), the breakfast burrito or breakfast croissant, and a breakfast skillet with ham and mushrooms with a side of hollandaise. Oh, and you can’t forget the fresh squeezed orange juice!

In the mood for breakfast or brunch? That’s what The Egg & I focuses on, and they do it VERY well. I never knew eggs could be prepared in so many diverse ways, but everything they do here tastes fantastic! The portions are generously sized and fairly priced(except for a glass of milk, but that seems to be the norm for restaurants). The bill for my wife and I typically comes to $ 20-$ 25. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Simple yet attractive decorations are used throughout, and soft music plays in the background. It’s a quiet, relaxing way to start your day. Sadly, there is no Egg & I near my home… so every time I travel to a place where one is located, I always organize the trip so that I’ll have time for a few visits. Yes, this place is _that_good.
