Best place for Khmer food take out and Bahm mi sandwiches. One of my favorite dish there is their Prahok Ktee. It’s one of the best in Lowell. Also, the BBQ beef sandwich there is my favorite and the cheapest in Lowell that I know of.

After getting a haircut from the hair salon a few doors down(see review before this one), I was famished. We decided to come here for some«fast food» but it wasn’t fast at all. It was just like any other place, sat there and waited for the food to cook. Went inside and I shit you not. the guy working in this Asian restaurant had on a Dominoes Pizza Delivery Guy shirt on! I asked him. «what’s up with the shirt?» and he says that it’s his second job! haha that was hilarious! The place is TINY. it only had a single table with chairs for little children. I don’t think they’re marketing the place as a sit down and eat type of restaurant. Me and the browski ended up ordering the same thing. «Chicken Wing, Beef Sticks and Egg Roll with Rice Dinner. It was 8 bucks a pop for a total of 16 $. My brother seemed surprised when I told him how much I paid. he said before when he used to come here. it was 6 $ a plate. so who knows what happened. Oh and another strange thing was. it served cambodian food. and pizza! What’s up with that?!? That’s just weird man. I’m not going to lie. Overall the food was«blah» and the place was TINY. but the guy was nice and friendly. 3 stars!

Love their sandwiches! We like to order their bbq or chicken sandwiches(asked both to be made spicy). Sandwiches are only $ 2.75/each! Great customer service and very delicious when your on the go! They also serve other asian dishes that you can ‘order’ like fried rice, pad thai, meekathung, etc… BUT they also have authentic cambodian dishes that are already made and you can just grab a container and get what you want. The bubble teas here aren’t too shabby either! The high school girl who works here is very friendly and we always have great conversations! I actually prefer this place more than Hong Cuc(the one that everyone goes to since the golden ages). The taste is a little different from one another, but nonetheless both great! Heng Heng fast food is closer to me so I would most likely come here.

This is a Cambodian«fast food» place with only one table. Dishes rotate daily, but there usually are 4 – 5 soups, their version of Nam Prik Oong(meat sauce and prahok with veggies for dipping), 2 – 3 entrees, and pad thai and special fried rice. They also make great banh mi sandwiches and bubble teas, too. The owners are very friendly and will let you taste any dish that looks a bit«different». Last year, they opened a sit-down restaurant(Heng Heng II) on Rt 110 in Lowell, not far from Tepthida Khmer restaurant. While there is little or no «ambiance» in the place, the food is fantastic, and very reasonably priced. My favorites are lemongrass chicken, ginger beef, and mango salad. Heng Heng is in my regular rotation of excellent Asian restaurants in Lowell.
