The management and maintenance team have been really great at responding to my issues and requests over the last year. I’m really glad I renewed for this year. My AC went out last week and it was fixed within a few hours. I greatly appreciate it!

Had some lease issues but after that was resolved everything is what is expected. When a problem comes up usually it is resolved fast. An annoyance is when the gates get stuck while editing the complex.

I cannot believe that people actually enjoy living here! The management is absolutely TERRIBLE. The managers make it very clear when you have a problem that they don’t care, and that pleasing residents is the least of their worries. Firstly, dozens of residents who signed consecutive leases were left homeless for two weeks in between those«consecutive» leases. Because Gateway’s managers can’t plan anything, they had people moving out on August 6th and moving back in the 17th. That’s 11 days without a home. And when these residents asked Gateway what they were supposed to do during those 11 days, Gateway’s managers responded«Go get a hotel». Oh yes that’s right, because college students have that kind of money laying around to make up for your carelessness. Second, last night I was in my apartment about to go to sleep, when I heard the loudest noise. That noise was Gateway hiring carpet cleaners to come clean carpets at 11:30 at night. 11:30 at night on a Thursday. I go to work at 8:30 every day, and therefore get up at 7:30 every morning. I had to attempt(and fail) to go to sleep with the roaring sound of a carpet cleaning machine outside. I DONOT pay over $ 500 a month to hear the roaring sound of a carpet cleaning machine outside at 11:30 at night. Third, half the machines in the fitness center are broken. However this problem, despite complaints, is ignored because I guess our money doesn’t go very far around here. Overall, I am so incredibly disappointed with the quality of living here. If you or anyone else is looking to move here– don’t. I have been here since May and signed a lease until August 2015. If it’s this bad now, I can’t imagine what it’ll be like in the next year.

Issue after issue. I’ve only lived here for two weeks… first the keys didn’t work«due to humidity», exit gate was busted, couch was extremely dirty, oven was pooled with oil(maintenance spent 20 seconds«cleaning» it by moving the pool of oil around and said«all done»), mailbox key doesn’t turn, online payment system is completely out of whack as to being very inaccurate, and told them to add my number to the directory a week ago and still hasn’t been added, internet is spotty. Do yourself a favor and live at a newer place. If I had known, I definitely would have resigned at the Avenue and paid the $ 1200 difference. I also find it comical the Gateway selects only the good reviews to post on their main webpage.
