This place is very good. The fried macaroni & cheese appetizers were delicious. The service was fast for it to be a holiday(valentine’s)…no wait time… immediately seated. Our waitress was efficient and kind. Now for why 3 out of 5 stars given… the drinks were average at best. The daiquiri and lemon chill drinks were very watered down and inconsistent color. The cajun pasta is not great. the sauce was unlike anything I have tasted. Next time I’ll stick to the alfredo pasta dish. Overall, we will return for the food and service.

First off our waitress was nonexistent… Mattie, she would disappear for long periods of time and seemed very scattered. They were out of everything too, fettuccine, chicken, regular buns, etc. The food literally had no seasoning, I thought this was«Cajun» food. My husband ordered an appetizer with just gator(tiniest portion) and fries for his meal and it was $ 17! It would have been different if it was good or even had a good portion, but it was so bland and nonexistent that that is ridiculous. We definitely will never go back there, it took over an hour for our food to come out. It wasn’t even that busy, but the service was horrible!

We started out with the gator bites. They were done perfectly and tasted great. My son ordered the peel and eat shrimp which didn’t taste fresh, but were pretty good just the same. The crawfish etoufe was good, but the grilled catfish was very greasy. If you’re looking for a seafood dinner, you should give this place a try, but keep in mind you’re not along the shore and eating the catch of the day.

First off this place Isn’t exactly what I would call true cajun food, but it excellent none the less. Service is relatively fast, amd the restaurant is sufficiently clean. As far as food goes, the salad is excellent, and the«Dirty Bird», a chicken dish, is out of this would. Overall very happy, definitely 5 stars in my opinion.

Some of the best Cajun food in west Texas! Great food and lots of tv’s! I absolutely love this place. The food is always great and the people are always fun.

Food was terrible! My husband ordered the shrimp creole and none of the shrimp had been deveined!!! We showed it to the waitress and she went to tell the manager. She then returned and informed us that they do NOT devein their shrimp. It was gross!!! I ordered the crawfish étouffée. It was bland and the crawfish was chewy. Don’t waste your money it is terrible!

Delish… great outdoor patio and bar. We enjoyed the live band they had that day a ton! — great ambiance! Yes, jambalaya was skimpy on the protein like previous reviews my bf said… I was satisfied on the grilled shrimp salad with fresh veggies incl. avocado! We hope to return again soon! P. S. draft selection minimal — would go there mostly for fun, relaxed, lounge-y, environment.

Nice little local place. Only had drinks here, but the staff was friendly & the restaurant part seemed to be pretty busy with the dinner crowd. Very laid back atmosphere. Will stop in again

This place has a fun party atmosphere but the food is horrible. Don’t go there hungry and expect Cajun food. The crawfish bisque is pre packaged tomato soup with a few crawfish pieces on top. The boudin burger was ok except it was topped with a pre cooked sausage link and no boudin to be found. Nice waitress and staff.

The catfish special was delish… the service was lacking… asked for more soda got extra ice instead of more soda… three sips and soda was gone… but the food was perfect the catfish fresh and cooked perfectly and the breading melts in your mouth fried goodness…

I love this bar! I always go for lunch time and get the Oyster basket. Seasoned well, fried and absolutely mouth watering. Friendly waitresses.

Good food. We like the cajun cigars and the cajun pasta with alfredo sauce. The crawfish is pretty good as well. Waitresses are friendly. Drinks are cold! I have ate there quite a few times and am never disappointed. Its not the most quite place to eat but it is a restaurant/bar. Not really what I would call true cajun food as the etoufee is gross. Stick with pasta and the fried dishes!

Most disgusting place I’ve ever been too! Do not waste your time or money on this restaurant. Food was nasty and now I have an upset stomach. Ordered the cajun pasta, which menu says it has pasta, chicken, sausage & shrimp. It had 0 shrimp & when I asked waitress why it didn’t have any, she said she didn’t know I wanted shrimp in it. Although, the menu states this is what it has in dish. Seriously?! Wth idiot??? Service was just as horrible! Would never recommend this to anyone… ever!!!

In all honesty, this place is below mediocre. The drinks are fine, but the food is just not good at all.

The beer must be really cold… otherwise I’m not sure why people go there. It’s sure not for the food. Got the crawfish étouffée & got 4 little crawfish outta the whole deal. Save your money & pallette & goto Jazz(which sadly isn’t much better).

The two stars is for location; However, I couldn’t bring myself to eat at a Cajun place that doesn’t serve boiled crawfish! In May!

How do you mess up making Red Beans and Rice? Well, having no sausage in in(like it says it has in the menu) … and rice that is not thoroughly cooked. The Crawfish Étouffée was all roux, very few crawfish and three 2″ pieces of celery??? WTH??? Spicy, yes. Most people probably could not handle it. Shrimp Gumbo… Horrible. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Embarrassing indeed. Boudin Balls… what? You DONOT fry boudin. Period. Save your business and fire your cook, cause he or she sure is not a chef. Only redeeming quality you ask? The beer was cold.

I ordered the crawfish étouffée($ 9.50) and found 4 or 5 crawfish tails swimming in a sea of dark brown sauce. I asked the waitress to come see for herself. The kitchen brought out 5 more crawfish tails in a bowl. This is the worst service recovery I have ever experience. This is after the manager came over to my table to talk to me. The other 3 friends of mine also were not impressed with their portion size. I should have read earlier reviews on Unilocal about this restaurant! I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHISPLACE.
