Better produce, friendlier customer service and better prices to be found at Meijer or any chain grocer. We purchased«fresh» Strawberries on a Sat afternoon for making jam, even with buying 8 quarts«customer service» was extremely reluctant to give us a proper box for transporting(stating store policy and fear of getting in trouble). The price was no real deal in the end either($ 4/qt), but the kicker is even though we kept them unbruised and in a cool place, by Tuesday afternoon(3 days) everything we hadn’t used yet was growing mold and mushy and we ended throwing most of them out. This may be an isolated incident but we were very dissatisfied all the way around… starting with the market staff and ending with the moldy produce.

A local hot spot for your plants in the spring and local produce all through the growing season. They grow their own or get their produce from local farmers, in fact, this is where the locals go when they are in town. People are nice, the owner is usually there. Always fresh!
