Love this diner, my boyfriend stop by for breakfast at least once a week if not more. It’s hard to come by a family run diner in these parts, but they have it. Décor is a little outdated but we go there to eat not to stare at the walls. Makes a great breakfast for the price we always leave with a full stomach. John and his family are such nice people. I noticed that some reviews complain about slow service, I wouldn’t call waiting a couple minutes slow service. Most of the time it is just John and his wife and maybe one other employee, they do it all. Wonderful local business and we will continue to support it. This is our only breakfast destination… The only time we go somewhere else is if it’s a Wednesday.

Great family run restaurant, very funny and friendly waitresses, wonderful atmosphere. Cheap prices, healthy options, cook is willing to alter menu items to suit your needs. Everyone should try it!

Didnt want to star at all. Walked in and the waitress said nothing to us, sat there for about 5 mins (mind you there is no one in there) the cook finally had to come over us give us our silverware, menus and bring us water while she stood there with a puss on her face. After we decided we had to call her over, she never once checked on us. Food was mediocre, even if it was good wouldnt go back.

First and last time food sucked french toast was soaked bacon not cooked all the way and rye toast was white toast… after 40 mins for food was cheap tho but again you get what you pay for… our older woman waitress was very miserable she should just quit wife had ham bacon eggs while situation sucks very loud not good for kids…

Good little place to relax and have some breakfast. Hot coffee, read a newspaper and watch them cook your meal. I always like stopping here.

Food was amazing and quick but the service was horrible. We had to get up and ask for menus after sitting for 10 mins with only two other tables full. We then had to go up to bar and order. Asked for ice water and got room temp tap water. Its a shame the service isn’t as good as the food.

So I’m visiting my family in Ludlow and we are all hungover and starving. Of course Friendly’s has a huge wait… and I mean. Friendly’s.not good. So my brother suggests this place. I never thought I would really enjoy it! There were plenty of tables, our server was really sweet, and the portions were huge! (they didn’t even ask why half of our party was wearing sunglasses at 1130 a.m.)
I liked the atmosphere, it seems like a little family run place, my fav! So if your looking for some brunch/breakfast, I would really stop in!

I’ve ate there 2 times once for breakfast and it was ok and the last time for lunch. Had a burger and it was a hockey puck and the home frys. yes I said home frys for lunch and they had not much flavor and were very soggy! The flavors were off as well like he makes them at the begining of the week and just keeps reheating them. The bread wasn’t fresh as well. the good part was the price. but I guess you get what you pay for.
