This is a place for breakfast convenient to Exit 7. This place is really not worth getting excited about. Just a no frills meal. The start is friendly and the place seems clean.

This is the third time… shame on me for giving it another go. I ordered the western omelette with no cheese, along with another breakfast to go. I go it eat it and there is cheese. I call and get no apology and was told just bring it back and get another one. REALLY??? Rethinking this place. It’s too bad because we like it.

The stuffed pork loin, while not the stuffed meatloaf I ordered, was outstanding, so a happy accident for me. It was attractive as well as tasty with a unique spinach-sausage filling. Soup was homemade, as was the corned beef on my wife’s Reuben sandwich. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Décor is a bit dated but the food really makes up for it. Friendly staff make this a worthwhile stop when hopping off the highway. Recommended.

2015 owners: poor menu, bad food and slow service. It used to be great for breakfast but new owners changed it and destroyed the reputation. Most folks moved to Bobs or Trading Post

Actually this is for katie h. I was the one you talked to and you coming on here when all my customers around you heard what you said and felt bad for your waitress because of your rudeness. First of all being on the phone and then telling a training waitress«you can freaking wait» with your finger is very rude and i do believe them being fustrated and not wanting to check up on you is normal. You shouldnt come to a place and be complaing about everything and then trying to be rude to people who serve you then expect them to treat you like a customer we also are human beings that work for there money and you wouldnt want anyone treating yourself or anyone you know like that. We also removed your food from the bill and you ordered fries and told them you didnt want the fries after you recieved it so i do believe someone was either having a bad day or your attitude is like that. Im not going to be rude to you right now and bad mouth you but please dont go on Unilocal and write fake lies just because you acted the way you acted after 3 waitresses couldnt handle your attitude the way you wanted them to. Grow up and please dont return our place is a very friendly and nice family place where it doesnt need people like you there if you change your mind and attitude though please come again it would be a JOY.

I can’t complain about Joy’s. The food is good quality and the service is always quick. The sandwiches seem a little pricey, though considering you get soup, salad, AND fries on the side I think it’s worth it. I came in shortly before closing and they were very gracious even though I was inconveniencing them. I would definitely eat here again.

Tasty food and fantastic service. I had the reuben with some pasta fagioli soup and it was delicious. The place was very busy. There were only two waitresses but they managed to provide quick turnaround and attentive service to a few dozen tables.

18 years living next door to ludlow and I always thought this was a chinese food place… yes i was judging by the name. Well its not! I have only came here a few times for breakfast with my family but It was pretty mediocre each time. I wouldn’t turn down coming here, but its not my first choice. To be fair I have always come with a rather larger party. but I find the space awkward. The service was not that great either. The real deal breaker would be the not so amazing food. Its fine, BUT not great. I have eaten pancakes, corn beef hash, and eggs here. It was average. I also had to wait for far too long to have my coffee refilled… that is frustrating. I don’t know what else they do here, one reviewer mentioned the bar and pizza, so maybe that is more their thing?

I agree with John. Not a big fan of their food, either. They could do a bit better with their service and cleanliness.

More like the opposite of joy. Every time I walk in there, I feel like I need to take a shower. The tables are very sparsely distributed, aka they could fill the space A LOT more. They have two high chairs for the kids, but they might need a tetanus shot to stay in there. The food is decent, but I’ve had better. I’m just not impressed with it. I’ve only been there for breakfast, but apparently they have a bar, and pizza. This is a newly constructed Joy’s, as the old one used to be in a strip. I remember that one was better. But this one reminds me of an impoverished Friendly’s(which is right next door haha)
