Friendly’s

Girlfriend found a hair in her food. They didn’t take it off the bill. Enough said. But it’s a friendly’s I honestly don’t expect much in terms of service. Also why does every friendly’s we go to act like they are understaffed? There was 10 tables open but it still took them 10 minutes to seat us. Corporate Friendly’s needs to pull their heads out of their butts, seriously.

The ice cream section is just not what it use to be. No twist machine? Ain’t inexpensive either.

Friendly is wilbraham i think is better. But I got cold frys. Funny part is I ask for nacho cheese on side for waffle fries and they took the cheese thats supposed to be on my sandwich, they placed on the side but w/​e… manager over charger for soda and forgot my sandwich comes with ice cream… but overall its was ok

I love this place. I come here every time I visit my grandparents. They don’t have these in Texas. I get the same reeses sunday every time I go.

This particular location is the only one I go to. Sometimes there is a wait at the take out window for Ice cream (especially in the summer months) but the food here is good. They have remodeled the inside and given it a more 50’s feel which I like. I usually go to breakfast during the week and greeted by a female server who is top notch. I forget her name but she’s older and makes great conversation. She gets 4 stars alone! I recommend the hash browns.

I’ve reviewed and trashed Friendly’s in the past. Yesterday, my kids once again suggested that we go to Friendly’s, so we went. MUCH BETTER with the «High 5» menu. It seems like they got the word that they need to return to their roots — simple diner food, fun ice cream and not outrageous pricing. Even my wife, who was not with us at the time, commented that our total check of $ 25 for 3 kids and 1 adult was significantly less than the $ 40 check we’d come to expect (and one of the principal reasons we stopped eating here) from this chain for the same meal. So, if you’re a Friendly’s hater, as I was (see my other reviews), you might just be pleasantly surprised by how well it works now. I just hope they can survive through bankruptcy…
Oh, and the food. I had a burger with fries ($ 5), my kids each had kid’s meals (mozzarella sticks — a little on the small side…, hot dog with mac & cheese, and of course chicken fingers) with desserts (ice cream sundae, a volcano cone [entertaining], plus a double scoop of ice cream. We left happy. That’s a real change. I think I can go back there again.
