Well, this Brentwood location other than my previous trip when I just wanted to get some water they told me company policy was no free water unless I purchased something, the same for a small cup of ice. Every since I had the chemo I get thirsty at unexpected times, I forgot my money at home and didn’t have enough Change on me at the time. I was reluctant to come back today. Because I decided to try it again I get thirsty at unexpected times I could have waited until I Whent in Wal-Mart, but I decided to give y’all another chance eventhough that is a dangerous and liable policy to have. Someone could have been having a seriously health related issues and could have lost a life due to your policy. Maybe they had became like me too week to walk in the store so they Whent to the drive thru. However I guess as long as someone is able to pay for a small cup of water or ice they may be okay. I seriously request a policy changes, your prices here in Lufkin T both locations are already inflated. I lived in Houston and visited many locations and none charged for ice or water there prices are cheaper as well. Not much but when your medical bills and medicine costs are extremely expensive one much choose restaurants wisely. I don’t mind paying for good quality and services don’t get me wrong, however when you charge for something that doesn’t really cost your company anything. I worked in the restaurant business for over 15years until my diagnosis. I understood the cost is business and inventory and good customer service. And also the paper and product costs also the liability cost of Someone is injured due to the companies negligence and greed. The cheapest thing on your menu is sauce… what if someone couldn’t afford.50?and passed out in your drivethru. Your company already makes millions off the comon people give them a cup of water even if it is in a kiddie cup. People want companies that appreciate and understand their customers needs. Eventually people will stop coming back. I stopped going to the other location here in Lufkin they kept messing up my orders… even after repeating or it was burnt. This was the second chance I gave this location. However my food wasn’t overcooked and the women in the drive thru window was great and so was the women who took my order. And it was correct. I maybe back but I will not go out of my way to be honest. Greedy corporations who don’t care about the customers or guest’s that come to them. I won’t spend much money there. By the way I Whent to Wendy’s I don’t like their food at all. But they didn’t care about.50for something I don’t need just for a cup of water… I Whent to McDonald’s, taco bell, and other restaurants all around Lufkin just to see if they would charge. You and sonic… I refuse to spend another dimension there. I even have coupons for free items at sonic I still will not redeem. I wouldn’t mind spending the money if their was consistency, appreciation for the customers, and good quality service and food. When my family and I go out we spend at least100.00 we don’t mind spending if it is worth it. The reason I gave you so many stars today was because of the service I received today. I will be honest want reviews or comments I make about establishments I frequent.

Like all Whataburger locations, the food is kinda pricey, but definitely worth it. Service is almost always speedy, even at busy times. The décor is a bit skimpy at this one compared to others but still gives off that 50’s diner feel. The service though is where the good feelings drop off. It is wildly inconsistent among shifts. It is a total crapshoot anytime you show up as to whether you’ll get a warm and friendly employee or someone who is just there for a paycheck.
