Novrozsky’s Hamburgers

I would give them 5 stars BUT they seem to always leave their phone off the hook when business picks up. That is NOT good management. That’s the only problem!

Considering that there is not really any good food in Lumberton Novoroskys was okay. The burgers are alright, they would be much better with a better quality bun and toasted. Also, they put shredded cheese on the burgers so it all just kinda falls off. A slice of cheddar would be waaay better than the shredded.
The baked potatoes are good and huge, lots of left overs. The onion rings are not good. I love onion rings but these were dipped in a heavily seasoned batter and you can not even taste the onion. Don’t order the Ruben, terrible. Stick with the burgers and potatoes which they seem to do well.
Novoroskys is a grease pit. Nothing really healthy here, it’s good but very bad for you.

Definitely my «go to» spot for a big grilled chicken sandwich, and the hubs loves the avocado burger.

First and foremost, Novrozsky’s is a burger joint, although their menu does have something for everyone. So on our first visit we decided we should try the burgers. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger, and I had the fried egg burger. An order of fries and one of onion rings (both to share) rounded out our order.
While we waited for our food we enjoyed looking at the décor: mostly vintage and retro signs and license plates from all over the USA. The dining room was clean and pleasant. And our wait was not long.
Both burgers looked fantastic. The order of fries seemed a skosh on the small side, they were nice and crunchy. The onion rings made up for the small order of fries… they were big, crunchy homemade rings of oniony goodness. And the burgers… two big thumbs up from us both. That’s four thumbs up for those of you keeping score st home. The patty was just the right size and juicy, the veggies were very fresh and added to the burger’s flavor instead of just being there. But the bun was the highlight! It was oh do fresh and the perfect size and texture to soak up most of the juicy burger goodness.
Bonus points: the cook came out to see how we were enjoying the food. When was the last time that happened to you at a simple burger joint?
Conclusion: Highly Recommend! Novrozsky’s is a small chain in East Texas, so if you happen to see one in your travels, giver it a go!

This is my reliable «go-​to» in Lumberton when I visit. Good burgers, good chicken-​fried chicken and I love their fried mushrooms.
The food has been consistent for years — if you happen to be in Lumberton and just cannot decide what to eat — this is a great place to depend on.

Great hamburgers, cheese fries, etc. Good menu selection. Prices are good too. Customer service is excellent.
