I really like the outside look of this post office. It kind of looks like a barn and is right on the water. I’m not sure if this Post Office is going out of business or what as there was a for sale sign on the outside. Maybe just the property is up for sale but I guess the Lummi Islanders can always go to Ferndale for their mail? Any way, it’s cute just like the island. Although, there still is a bit of area that needs to be developed, but the islanders probably like the peace and quiet and the wonder view of the water surrounding it. Sadly, I won’t be back here as this was a one time visit and there really isn’t anything to see here (to my liking that is) but there may be something there for you.
