The food here is always amazing every time I order. The Cuban is my favorite with a pickle on the side. It’s always ready on time whenever I go to pick it up. The staff are pretty great as well. Always friendly and courteous on the phone. It’s one of my favorite places in town to grab lunch on the weekends with my coworkers and we will definitely continue doing so in the future.

We cannot say enough about how delicious the food tastes here. It’s a real treat to have such a great deli that serves up such fresh ingredients that keeps us coming back for more. And we are even more thankful that we only need to walk out of our front door and a few steps to get there. We highly recommend everything on the menu!

I enjoyed this deli quite a bit. It is VERY tight on the inside, not ideal for a family of five with a stroller, but we made it work. This is a good olé’ fashioned deli, where you can get a really good root beer or cream soda with your meal. We’re not talking A & W here. The customer service was good. They were very helpful. My girls had the grilled cheese. It was everything you’d expect from a place with 4 ½ stars on Unilocal. My wife and I split the Reuben and the smoked turkey and avocado. The Reuben was satisfactory. It could have used a little bit more meat, but it still worked none the less. The turkey sandwich came with salsa on it, but it was jarred salsa, it wasn’t fresh. Jarred salsa has a very distinct taste, and I could detect it on every bite. Fresh salsa would have made this sandwich a home run. If you are anywhere near Luray, I would suggest you give this deli a shot.

The food selection is amazing here! Above the register is a big list of various hot and cold sandwiches and salads. For celiacs there is also a gluten-free bread option. The soft drink selection is large as well ranging from the standard brand names to some more obscure ones including my favorite GUS(Grown Up Soda — not too sweet) line. Other items include various deli salads, cheeses, chips, and baked goods. The staff is friendly and the dining area clean and open. During warmer days you can eat outside. Definitely a great place for some great food!

We loooooooved this awesome sandwich shop. I had the smoked turkey and avocado sandwich, of which the sauca was amazing. My lady asked for the same, but with condiments separated on the side. They obliged graciously. We found the staff helpful and accommodating. Fast, yummy, and high quality ingredients. Perfect for a day away in the Shenandoahs!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Food was very good, had the Reuben and it was just fine. I highly recommend the potato salad as your side… it was fantastic. Beautiful day to enjoy their outdoor seating. My daughters weren’t impressed with their sandwiches but other than that I highly recommend!

We went to this place on the way home from Shenandoah and the sandwiches were delicious. I got the chicken pesto panini and my bf got the turkey avocado panini. both were warm and toasty – and made to order. the place inside was clean and there were a ton of sandwich options(cold, warm and toasted options) on the menu. what i loved also was the large variety of bottled sodas, some that i had never tried or seen before. all around great little deli in lurray.

The food was really good and so was the service! We had the potato salad and tuna salad. My husband had the Ruben and he said it was just good. I had the mozzarella and basil panini and it hit the spot my kids had the kids turkey and cheese sandwiches and they were very happy! The food came out really slow though so my kids were really antcy by the time the food got to us.

Great place on this Main street for sandwiches when you don’t feel like a sit down restaurant. If you want a sandwich and it isn’t BBQ and you want something great quality panini or hoagie or sammich wise with some yummy picnic salads. come here. It’s a bit slow on the ordering to eat side, as it’s usually one person making all the meals, so just be prepared to hang out, or order ahead

The most amazing sandwiches in Luray! Came out of the caverns looking for a great place to eat and we found it. Definitely recommend coming here if you are craving a hot panini sandwich.

This was the perfect way to end our trip in the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I were looking to grab a bite to eat before we headed on the the road for a 6 hour trip back home. We found this place on a whim and are so glad we did! It’s a very cute space with wonderful staff. Everything is made to order so be patient. Enjoy some conversation and take in the perfect little shop as you wait. I got the Asiago Chicken panini and my husband got the chopped chicken salad. Both were well portioned and the prices were perfect. Being from NYC and being used to exorbitant prices for sandwiches and salads, this place rocks in my book! Usually for a semi-decent/tiny panini in NYC it’s $ 10+ but at less than 7 bucks a piece, who could complain. I know I wasn’t! And the sandwich was delicious to boot! Crispy, cheesy and actual chicken! I wished we found this place at the start of our trip, that way we could have tried all their fares. No, scratch that, this place should move to my neighborhood in NYC so I can try everything.

Great little lunch spot. Gourmet sandwiches, great bottled beverage selection with fancy sodas, mineral water, etc. Sweet potato chips and the like. Very happy to have found it thanks to fellow Unilocalers. The only caveat is that there is very little indoor seating. I didn’t see it but I understand there was outside seating available.

The sandwiches were pretty good. We got a decent variety of them. Tuna salad in a hoagie roll. A tuna sub. A chicken salad sub. A grilled chicken. A Cuban. An Italian sub. A grilled cheese. A meatball sub. Most everyone enjoyed everything. All the meats were fresh. And so were the greens and the rolls. It’s a well run place that serves good subs /sandwiches. No complains. 4 stars.

Absolutely excellent! The staff is very friendly, and the panini grilled Smoked Turkey with avocado, peach and cilantro salsa was fantastic! Prices are decent but it’s definitely worth it!

Had to be the worst meal I’ve had while in the area. I can see that they are trying, but the Fresh Mozzarella Panini was bland-no seasonings what so ever. Hubby and I both tried the Ginger Carrot soup and I honestly could not take more than 2 sips. Bland would have been an improvement. Over priced and all sides are extra. Family of 5 with 2 grilled cheese, 2 Mozzarella Paninis and ½ Caesar«wrap», plus 3 drinks and 3 chips cost $ 43!

Doing it right! Smoked turkey panini, portobello panini, and a cburger for the kid. Great little find, passing through after cavern visit. Small suggestions to the owner: salt/pepper on tables, a drink cooler that isn’t so loud when charging, a little music in the dining room, and a smile from the cashier(maybe she had a tough day).

Why would you ever visit the«cafés» attached to tourist spots when you could make the 2-minute drive here instead? The food tasted fresh and there was something for everyone. I got the pastrami and Swiss with a small cup of soup. They have some different sandwiches that you don’t typically see in delis, and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy. I’d definitely try this place if you’re traveling from somewhere!

We had the grilled chicken salad here and it was great. Plentiful variety of fresh summer veggies. My friend had the Pastrami panini and said it was perfect! Great selection of cheeses, salads and wine for the impromptu house guests and party emergencies. Also Root beer, Orange Cream and Grape sodas are a treat here.

An exceptional farm to table deli nestled into the main road of sleepy Luray, VA. I came here with an outdoors/camping themed bachelor party and everyone agreed the sandwiches were exceptional. I tried both the turkey and avocado and the ham & brie sandwiches. Both were awesome but in different ways. The turkey avocado was very fresh and light coming with cilantro and a chunky salsa, seemed like a great option for a diet, whereas the ham & brie had an amazing brie melt that made it savory and filling but definitely felt heavy. Several of us were tempted to try the soups; I had the Maryland crab soup. It was disappointing; instead of a creamy clam chowders broth I received a tomatoes vegetable soup with just the scantest bits of crab. Perhaps it was not a bad soup but the sandwiches were so good as to make the soups seem useless as a compliment.
