Best Chinese Take Out in Lusby.

This place is your tropical cruddy Chinese joint with a few American options. I tried a little of both. I got a cheeseburger and a general tso combo. The cheeseburger was dry and plain. The chicken had a very funky taste it. The one you only get at subpar Chinese restaurants. The egg roll was cooked well but had very little flavor. The fried rice was decently seasoned but nothing special. The service was very friendly but the food was nothing to go back for.

We are vegans. Came in out of boredom with other local places. They have a limited menu of options for us with vegetables and bean curd which is a softer tofu. Ordered two entrees with veggies which were cooked to perfection and the bean curd which was perfect. Brown sauce made by someone who knows how to flavor. Fried mushrooms breaded and spiced amazingly well. Fried rice the best in the area along with the brown sauce. We also had the spring rolls. The marinated cabbage inside was so good no sauce needed. That’s not common for any Chinese Takeout place. We ordered General Tso Bean curd take out and more spring rolls to take home we were so impressed.
The man in front of us in line said that their standard grill fare such as cheeseburgers and cheese steaks are the best in the area. We don’t eat them for health reasons, but people were coming through the door on a Sunday afternoon. The family members cooking and taking orders were really happy to hear our reaction to their food. We saw other patrons talking with them like friends. This place has love in their food so it gets a five star rating for Lusby Maryland. Prices are inexpensive, but don’t let that fool you. This is comfort food for foodies. Lots of love in this food. They don’t know about Unilocal and TripAdvisor so we need to introduce them.
Only one thing negative. MSG is already pre-​made in sauces like most Chinese food. We were told it wasn’t much and that seems accurate. As vegans we are extra sensitive and had Cream of Tartar after getting home due to slight MSG reactions. Worth the MSG mild headache. We will bring Cream of Tartar and have it before hand next time we go there.

Cheesesteaks! Who knew? Stopped here and didn’t order Chinese, but got a cheesesteak instead; very good! Lots of meat on the cheesesteak. If you want a simple steak, its much better with more meat for less money than the cheesesteaks at Jerry’s Subs and Pizza down the road.
