Best kosher dogs wrapped in pastrami, hot corned beef on rye, hot brisket, rare roast beef with onions, chicken, egg and shrimp salad… they also handled all my party platters. I live in Florida now and haven’t ever found a deli that sells any of the above. Towson Delly is the best! And John and Darryl are still present on a daily basis! Best.deli.ever!!!

Towson Delly is a longtime family favorite(that rare roast beef… I could eat it every day), so they were an obvious choice for catering my very low-key, casual wedding last month. They did an AWESOME job. Multiple people remarked that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. John was very easy to work with and I thought the price was very reasonable for how good the food was.

I occasionally hit this place for lunch and am a fan. The food is good and generous. the service can be a bit slow, but I usually eat at their peak lunch hours. It seems to be a favored local hangout for business people and neighbors. They have outside seating, too, so that’s a plus in decent weather. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the food, so give them a try!

Nice menu items. I wish I had tried one of the specials, because the Rachael wasn’t that great. Also $ 8 for a sandwich with no side(not even a pickle) is a bit steep for what I got.

This place is a gem tucked away in a tiny strip mall. From the way it looks on the outside you think it’s nothing special. During lunchtime, the time all Deli locations are usually busy, this place is no different. There are very few tables to sit and its very crowded and kind of hot with all the food preparation going on. The people who work and own the place are incredibly nice and make you feel at home. You can dine in and pay your check after you’ve eaten your food. As for the food, everything is great quality and well prepared. The sandwiches and sides are a great size for a very affordable price. Maybe not the best food I’ve ever had, but certainly top notch in what they offer in homemade breads, meats, and cheeses. Everyone loves a place with variety especially me. Overall this is a fantastic lunch spot that gives you bang for your buck. And Did I mention they make their own sweet tea? It’s delicious! Give this place a shot and you won’t be sorry, I guarantee it. I’m certainly coming back and will consider this one of my «go-to» spots for now on.

This is a hole in the wall deli in a very unattractive strip shopping center on York Road. It’s a family run business with the owner on premise every time I’ve eaten there. This is going to be very short — they have two great items on the menu — the home made chicken noodle soup and the shrimp salad sandwich. When I pass the place that’s all I can think about. Matter of fact I am thinking about it now and will probably eat there soon.

Looks are deceiving. Just of off York RD in Timonium, the Towson Delly North looks like a hole-in-the-wall joint. It certainly didn’t look like much when I went in there around 3 pm two days ago. However, I just had a the greatest burger ever! It’s a deli and has all of the usual deli offerings: Reubens, coldcuts, and cub sandwiches. It also has salads. However I was totally thrilled with my burger. It is served on the sandwich bread of your choice — I recommend that you go with the rye bread. Marvelous!- and the condiments of your choice. It tasted great! I went back again today just after noon and the cheese burger was good too. There’s outdoor seating, the service is good and the staff are friendly. Downsides, there is not a lot of seating space inside. Also the display case salads look a little somber after the noon time rush is over.(So go early if you desire a salad.)

I went in here to just grab a quick sandwich and because I heard their business was suffering from the road construction on York Road. Whenever I used to see this place, it was ALWAYS packed, so I knew it had to be good… and that it was. They had a HUGE selection of things to choose from and a few tables to sit in around the place… so you can either eat in there if you can find a table or take it to go. The have a breakfast menu, speciality sandwiches(club sandwiches, Reubens, a Rachel, etc), a long list of sandwiches and subs, salads, desserts, side orders… basically anything you want, there’s SOMETHING you’d love on the menu. There stuff is also veeeery reasonably priced… with sandwiches mostly between $ 4.25 to $ 6.50 for regular size and up to $ 7 to $ 8 for jumbo size sandwiches. My shrimp salad was a pretty good size and definitely had lots of flavor. I was beyond excited when I looked for a drink and found Arizona SWEETTEA which no one else really has. That pretty much made my meal. Everyone seemed so friendly and they had a few regulars in there that they called by name… which is my kind of place. If the place has regulars and the place is always packed, that’s a sure tell sign you’re in a good place. You won’t be disappointed if you go in to grab something to eat, that’s for sure. I highly recommend.
