Jersey Mike’s unfortunately are not consistent in their quality of food. Two Saturday’s in a row I ordered the Jersey Mike cheesesteak — one with banana peppers and the most recent one without. The first time, the cheesesteak was absolutely delicious! It was cooked very well with the appropriate amount of meat, toppings and deliciousness. During my most recent visit, my cheesesteak was prepared on white bread(I requested wheat) and as I went to pick up my order I received an apology and was told they would remake it. BIGMISTAKE. I received a bread steak, with hardly any meat, toppings or care. It was very disappointing and has me really considering rather I should return or not. As a pregnant woman, I take pride in patronizing businesses that are consistent in quality, service and product. I hope this was a one time fluke, otherwise as quickly as I patronized this establishment, I will refuse to do so in the future!

I love the Mike’s famous Philly. I get it with onions peppers cheese and crushed hot peppers, because I like to taste my sub. This is my go to sub spot.

What a surprise! When walking in to here, wasn’t sure if I made a good choice, but was pressed for time and it was getting late for lunch(3:00). Order a #43, cheese steak… haven’t had a cheese steak this good in years. Definitely will be back to try other subs and wraps out!

Not as good as I had hoped for, but better than I expected after I walked in the front door. There’s a disappointingly similar-to-Subway *feel* — the same cafeteria style, get ‘em in/get ‘em out, order-your-sub-while-they’re-making-it-behind-the-glass deal. I don’t think watching them make your sub adds anything to the experience– in fact I think it detracts from it. If that isn’t reminiscent enough of Subway, they encourage you to make your lunch complete with a bag of chips or cookie for another 99¢. The self-serve drink station wasn’t even as good as Subway’s, having less to choose from. After you get past the ordering process, things improve a bit. When you open the nicely branded brown paper bag(not a thin plastic baggie) you find a decent sized sub reasonably packed with good ingredients. Mine was the«Super” — «Mike’s way”/ no hots(Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo) Definitely *ham heavy* and light on the other meats. It’s almost what Subway *would* make if they and their customers had the slightest concern about authenticity. The meats and cheese were pretty good. No where near high-end Italian deli, or a *Primo Hoagies* or even *Jimmy Johns* for that matter. The oil and vinegar slightly outcompeted everything else. The bread probably made the sub– fresh, great texture, made Subway’s taste like a sponge. It all holds together nicely until the last bite. I think seeing«Jersey» in the name got my hopes up a bit too much. South Jersey and Philly are the epicenter of great *hoagies* so I assumed that would be evidenced in the product somehow. I’m not sure they quite pulled it off but they’re good for what they are– a hybrid between fast food and authentic sub shop. If you’re thinking Subway, go to JM’s instead and get a much better sub, albeit at a higher price. My advice for Mike– ubgrade the meats to reflect the price, ditch the Subway-like features like the cookies and do a few sub shop type sides like fries and onion rings.

I got an reg Italian cold cut. It was really good but the sandwich is pricey at just under $ 8. Not much variety and its not an overstuffed sandwich thus i don’t feel its a value. Not an overly welcoming store plus the older gentlemen slicing the meat created an odd chemistry/awkwardness with the female staff.

JJ started my hunt for the deli’s sandwich comparison. So here I am at JM’s… I was looking around town for food before I test drive a Mazda and deal with a dealer. JM is not so bad because it’s better than subway that franchised our nation. We, don’t even bother to explore that there are better deli options in the world of sandwiches. The bread is fresh at JM’s. When you want a sandwich, the bread is the first attraction in the invitation to bite and savor the inside of a sandwich. If the bread is not good, the whole sandwich is not good. The bread determines the satisfaction of the whole thing. Take this as a honest to goodness experience. The bread represents the sandwich experience.

I went here to try it because I have never had Jersey Mike’s in Maryland before. Got the #8 regular on white and the #13 regular on wheat. They got the breads mixed up. The subs did not have enough oil and viniger on them. Almost forgot to put the mayo and bacon on the 8. Still tasted good. They sliced my 13 but forgot it was for me and tried to give it to the guy behind me who got a 13. Had to say something. The staff could use a little more training. Still tasted good but nothing can beat a Jersey Mike’s Sub! Love these subs and will always come to Jersey Mike’s over any other place. Keep up the good work! Thanks so much.

(5÷22÷2015) Was running around doing errands and had forgotten to each lunch. Pickings are slim at the Foxtail Center, especially since the closing of Einstein Bros. Bagels. Not really getting the popularity of the Jersey Shore themes here in the Old Line State, but there is a Jersey Mike’s in Lutherville. Got a «mini»(which really is just a regular-sized roll) #12(roast beef, provolone, pepperoni). Their famous roasted Angus beef is sliced thin, well-done and rather dry. Protein layer on the sandwiches are very thin; they are generous with the veg toppings. I like everything on it, and I do mean everything. My sandwich was tart(had red wine vinegar and oil dressing) and pretty zippy(added hots, banana peppers, and pickled jalapenos). If you don’t really miss the meat, and really like your veg, you could do worse than Jersey Mike’s.

This was surprisingly good much better then other chain sub shops. I’m not saying I’m going there once a week but if I’m craving a sub or in the area absolutely. It was clean and quick and easy and I well go again for sure

I had my first Jersey Mike’s experience when I lived in South Florida. Since then, it has been many years and I’ve been to Jersey Mike’s in other locations in PA and TN. I usually get the same experience, but the new location in Timonium has been superior than the rest. The PROs — easy to find parking in lot — restaurant is pretty clean and well lit — hoagies are big, especially the«giant» — the veggie sub comes with a nice mix of cheeses — good assortment of fixings for hoagie — reward club card The CONs — no sweet red peppers Overall… Jersey Mike’s is one of the best sub shop franchises around!

Not too shabby. The sub I had(a Big Kahuna with everything on it) was pretty good — plenty of meat, great toppings(get it with hots!). I like the fact that they offer a «diabetic-style» option with the«Sub in a Tub» — it’s basically all of the meat and cheese and toppings in a small container without the bread, and if I were still in a situation where I needed to monitor, I would have jumped at this choice.(Luckily, I’m well under control these days!) The only thing that I kind of found lacking about this experience was that the restaurant itself was in need of cleaning — tables were a bit dirty and there was a lot of trash laying about, which isn’t that appetizing of an atmosphere. The guy behind the counter was a bit too busy watching a football game and texting on his phone to pay much attention to that, I think. It’s not like the place was a sty or anything, but seriously — clean up a little, would you? We were the only customers in there at the time, so it’s not like they were overly busy or anything. We’d still come back for the subs, though. They were honestly very good.
