Went out for our family Saturday excursion. Found our selves eating at FHS we found great customer service along with great quality food and had a great eating experience. We hit the trifecta which is hard to find these days. Kudos to the owners and managers for running a good business.

Food is delicious. When you walk in you’re greeted with«Welcome to Firehouse». The owner is very pleasant and personable. I ordered the Turkey bacon ranch and it was yummy! I’ve also tried the Italian and that was delicious too! I plan to try a different sub each time I come in from now on.

Just finished my Firehouse SmokeHouse Beef&Cheddar. This is definitely the best microwaved Lloyd’s Pulled Pork w/Cheez Wizz sammich I ever had. I was happy about the amount of bread eclipsing the minimal amount of smokey Hunt’s Manwich. The rich ketchupy juices that soaked through the white layers of Wonderbread loveliness. The person taking my order asked if I’d like a pickle. Which I responded with a «Yes.». They put the beautiful sweaty fragile pickle in with the inner wrappings of the sandwich, so you get that nice brine soaked into the outer layer of the roll. This is what gave me a ‘Firehouse Chub’. This experience can be had for a small $ 15.00 charge. Or… You could go across the street to the grocery store pick up a can of Loyd’s pulled pork BBQ, load of white bread and go to town for under $ 5.00 9⁄10 would eat struggle meal again.

Firehouse is a solid place for lunch. There is a lot of great places to eat in the Timonium area so it’s very competitive for any restaurant. That is my reasoning behind the bad reviews for this restaurant. I’ve been here multiple times for lunch and the food and service have always been good. Here are the subs I’ve had that I can recommend: Italian cold cut, club, and meatball.

Yuk, I went there one time with a friend. He had a roast beef sub with the fixings, that was so dry he nearly choked to death on the damn thing. It took 20 minutes to get. it. I had the turkey on whole wheat which was pretty good; no complaints, but Subway or Towson bagels do it better. I wanted to have a chicken salad sandwich but for some reason they took tuna and chicken salad off the menu. Such a disappointment as I had their chicken salad at another Firehouse an it was the bomb. The manager was personable and on top of things. Staff was friendly, But I will not go back here. The counter girl said no chicken salad because it has pecans and people are allergic… so freaking lame. If you want a decent sandwich go to Towson Bagels or JimmyJohns Update: I went back on 06÷12÷16 and got a turkey and cranberry sub. It was so nasty, whole wheat, soggy roll with steaming cranberry sauce. I cannot stop tossing my cookies! The staff is unfriendly and depressed. Never again!

I’m not going to maliciously bash this place as they do not deserve that, but do deserve an honest review based on my two sandwiches: Turkey Bacon Ranch and Engineer. This was my first visit and likely my last. I heard about Firehouse from a friend and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and place was clean. Menu was not hard to decipher so the ordering process was quite easy and fast. Now for the sandwiches. The sandwiches do not come with oil and vinegar, but the steaming process made my sandwich soggy by the time I got home, which is less than 7 minutes away. The inside of the bread was a soggy mess, reminds me of when bread is soaked in water and just disintegrates. When taking a bite, it was neither satisfying nor gratifying, it was simply eating a pile of jumbled mess. I’ve had better sandwiches that held up better at Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mikes. Even at Jersey Mikes, getting it Mike’s Way, you don’t get a soggy mess. Again, this is based on my experience and mine alone.

Love the subs. Beats Subway by a mile. Wish they had more locations. Hero Sub is a favorite!

Food was great. I have eaten at another firehouse sub in Virginia and was excited to visit this one which is much closer. Didn’t get 5 stars since our food took over 20 minutes…(1 Malibu and 1 new York steamer). Taste was great. Make the subs quicker and maybe run a broom across the floor and it gets 5 stars.

The worst food I have ever tried. will never go back. They not even serving real chicken, it’s some kind of processed meat doesn’t even taste like chicken.

First time here at this new location. Great Italian sub combo. Very tasty and fresh. Good value for around ten bucks. They have a huge selection of sandwiches and combos. Also a large selection of under 500 calories. One neat feature, which I am seeing more of is the high-tech Coke machine with all there products and variations. I mix coke and Fanta. Yummy. Lots of different hot sauces to smother your grub with. It’s nice to have one the area and not have to go to Owings Mills. What’s tough though is the parking lot. Crowded and cramped. Tough, in my opinion to turn into and out of depending on the time of day.
