Hungry Howie’s

I am addicted to the Ham subs at Hungry howie’s as well as their pizza. I have been eating there frequently since as long as I can remember. My old location in Jacksonville knew me by name.
I attempted to order delivery from the location by my home in Lutz last night.
After waiting 45 plus minutes I received a call and it was the store manager saying they could not get in through the gate to make the delivery (I do not live in a gated community). I had her repeat the address back to me and it was correct. Exactly correct.
She apologized and said there are apartment homes by the same name of the street I live on. This does not make sense as no apartment number had been given. When the address was repeated back to me it was correct and void of apartment numbers!!! The Manager offered to have the order remade and re-​delivered (about a 45 minute wait). When we asked for a discount for our trouble we were offered a $ 5 credit!
No thanks. We had already waited an hour at this point. I feel like the manager did not take responsibility for the mix and and did not care to even offer us a discount or anything for our trouble until we asked. I did not feel like a valued customer and I am upset because I love Hungry Howies. I don’t wan’t to go without but I am turned off by their lack of customer service.

We go here a lot when we want yummy pizza at good prices! We pretty much always order the Crowd Pleaser, usually with butter cheese crust.
My wife loves The Works, and I love the meat lovers, but we have gotten other pizzas too. We always ask for extra sauce UNDER the toppings, and have always gotten it here, where as other pizza places put it on top, and it looks gross and you can’t even see the toppings.
We’ve been told by other places, «that’s not how they add extra sauce.» Well, WE are the paying customers, so WE should get what WE order. But this place, gives us what we want EVERYTIME.
Def’ly recommend this chain, ESPECIALLY this location. Sorry about the caps, just want to empathize certain words to help make my point.

This is a new location for me but the flavor and quality is consistent with what I’m used to in another part of town. The people are friendly and it’s clean inside. Stop on and get your fix!
