I love brunch at Slash. There’s always an interesting assortment of flatbreads, salads and omlets. Their lobster bisque is to die for. It’s a bit pricey but for a special occassion it’s my go to restaurant.

Excellent food quality and presentation. Feels like your eating something prepared by a chef, and not just a cook heating something up. The Splash salad is really good, much more than just lettuce on a plate. I usually opt for the spinach instead of the veg of the day. It’s pretty expensive so for me it’s a special occasion type of place.

I moved to this area a little while ago but had not been in Splash yet. My dad was visitng from out of town and I took him to lunch here. What a terrific experience it turned out to be. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We both so enjoyed it enjoyed it so much we were planning what we would have next time dad is back in town. I plan to visit again this weekend with my husband. I think the atmosphere, the staff and the food make for an all around top notch experience.

Innovative menus and a comfortable atmosphere bring us here almost every Friday night. The speicals are amazing, but they have to be to pull me away from my favorite menu items! Fish & steaks are some of the best around. The Splash! salad is just incredible loaded with mission figs, red onion, bacon, cucumber and parmesan. Their rolls & butter are something I dream about. Love the service and servers. This place is a gem!

Our waiter was the most respectful person! And did every move perfectly! the bisque was good. The bread good and warm. My date had the prime rib which he liked very much. I had the tuna. It was ok, besides the tuna, the dish was on the plain side. This is a nice place and worth a try.

Ehh… I truly don’t understand why this place has good reviews and is so expensive. I ordered a Filet Oscar, with which I was happy. The food is definitely good, but not worth the money. I still can’t figure out why it is so expensive. It isn’t very fancy inside and it’s in a shopping center with a Kohl’s and a Publix. On a positive note, the service is fantastic. I wouldn’t waste my money on this place when there are so many great places to eat around Tampa.

We drive to Spash from New Port Richey at least once per week. THe food is excellent, both Seafood and Steaks. The service is outstanding and there hasnt been a time when I was there that one of the owners didnt come by to say hello. The only thing we have not tried is the Brunch but have a very good friend that has done nothing but brag about it. Me personally, Id rather fill up on Splash Seafood lunch and dinner. You have to try the french Onion Soup at Lunch…

I had been planning on trying this restaurant for lunch or brunch either prior to or after shopping at Kohl’s and when I saw it on Groupon, decided to buy it. My husband and I tried it this afternoon for brunch. There was such a mixed group of reviews on all sites that I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were greeted and seated right away and then our waiter(David) came over and took our drink orders and gave us the specials for brunch. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict(although requested the eggs scrambled and regular bacon) and my husband ordered the Eggs Sardou which has sauteed spinach and tomatoes instead of the meat on eggs Benedict and these both included their Potatoes O’brien and hot biscuits with butter. We had great service and the food was brought out in a timely manner. They use Bearnaise Sauce instead of the normal Hollandaise Sauce, which I found to be very bland, but that was the only complaint I had for this restaurant. Both our meals were $ 9.50 and with juice and a diet coke($ 2.25) our total bill was $ 25.15, which was a little on the high side but not overly so. Would recommend this for the brunch on Sundays and we would try it for dinner.

We have been wanting to try this place every time we are at the Kohls located next door, but our timing has been off. Well when I saw the Groupon I knew it was time to give this place a try. Service was excellent, from the attentive hostess to our waiter Tim, we were very well attended to during our visit. We arrived after 8:00 on a week night and found the place to be busy, full dining room and fairly busy bar crowd. My husband ordered the Seafood chiopino with Caesar salad. Delicious with only complaint being way too much dressing on the salad. Dressing and croutons very good but just too heavy handed on the dressing, next time we will order the dressing on the side. I had the chef’s special Sirloin and lobster Oscar. Huge portion, Bernaise sauce was excellent, plenty of Lobster and the steak was melt on your mouth tender. Sides included asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and corn. All very good. My dinner came with choice of soup or salad and I opted for Lobster bisque which was thick and creamy with robust lobster flavor. While everything was delicious, both my husband and myself took home enough food for lunch the next day. We felt the prices to be very reasonable for our entrees and cocktails, we will definitely be back.

Great place for Sunday brunch. The omelette oscar style is very tasty and plenty of crab meat. Lobster bisque is good as well. Tried the sirloin and eggs today and it is awesome!

oh my word! I was looking forward to coming here bc I had heard great reviews from a friend, it was close by and I got a groupon for it. i was saddly mistaken. I walked in here with my husband and my friend who was visiting. I wanted it to be a celebration of our last dinner together before my friend went home to Chicago. We were able to get a table right away, but it was sooooo loud, and when I mean so loud, I mean so loud. It hurt my head so bad. We asked for a different table, which we got, but it didn’t really help anything. It still was loud. I tried to remain positive and not be crabby but it didn’t work. Our salad and their soup was the best part of the meal honestly, and that was about it. I ordered a coconut crusted fish with a sweet rum sauce, husband ordered steak, and friend ordered scallop and shrimp. They were not tasty at all, seemed like they kept nooking the food in the microwave. My friends risotto was actually cold, then they brought her a second one and it was still cold. oh boy. This place is also quite expensive for such a lack luster quality. The manager came around and felt bad, and said he would get her something else but she said no. It was a nice surprise that he took her meal off of our bill, but the bill was still pretty high. This place unfortunately is on my most disliked list. I let my friend know who referred me there, and she went there for valentines day. She had been there several times so she liked it. Unfortunately, her and her husband ordered the same thing my friend did — the scallops and shrimp and risotto. It was not edible.

First the good: I like the atmosphere and it is clearly well run and clean. Been here twice. I would like to give it one more try, but don’t know if I’ll get my wife to come back. I was hoping the second time I came to Splash, when I brought my wife for her birthday, was going to cause her to want to run around the corner(literally) for a nice meal every so often. Unfortunately, she was not impressed. We each ordered a full meal with appetizers. The only thing she truly liked were her scallops. The balance she said was okay — which is not good enough for the prices. My meal overall was good but not great as it was a little under seasoned, but my risotto(of the day) was inedible because it was so bland it was not even worth eating(and I can and will consume whatever is in front me — and I passed). I ordinarily don’t say anything about the food and just eat, but the waitress asked how everything was so I told her i wouldn’t eat the risotto(and it was removed from the bill). I know the food here is generally of high quality, but the disappointment on the night of wife’s birthday is likely to dissuade a return visit.

Great atmosphere, music was to loud and very odd. Clean and hostess aware of the customer service. A+…one tv at main bar. We had an crab cake, salad, burger and shrimp in pesto special. Presentation was average. Taste good. Menus where on craft paper. Server was very nice.

Greedy 3 of us went for dinner tonight. My mom and wife ordered: Lobster tail: $ 35 Seafood dish: $ 26 I’m on a carb restricted diet, I ordered the Steak that was on special($ 10). Food was all good. no complaints there. Total bill was $ 87 I used a $ 40 groupon(which cost me $ 20) Then we were told the groupon cant be used on the Steak Special. So I just shouldn’t have ordered the steak and all would have been fine? It made no sense. We paid $ 35 for the lobster tail, just that and a drink could have been used with the groupon. The fact that I also had 1 item that was on special caused the waitress to let us know that this was not allowed but they would let is slide this time. Not her fault. Stupid and greedy policy. I have 2 more groupons for $ 40. Next time, I will order as close to $ 40 as I can and nothing else. Food was good(4⁄5) but docking a point for stupid greed. I will post something on groupon also.

We came here for brunch and were surprised by the impressive selection of food. They were out of the smoked salmon appetizer, which was unfortunate because it sounded pretty tasty. I got the blackberry griddle cakes. Some of it was incredibly tasty, but there were sections that were more raw dough than cooked pancake. Maybe if they didn’t try to make their pancakes so large, they could cook it more evenly. I also managed to snack a bit on the O’Brien potatoes and some of the lobster meat — both of which were tasty. I’d come here again.

One of our close regular spots! Love it– from the Splash salad to the drinks. Never had anything that was bad or less than expected from here. Service is good. Its a good sign to see the same wait staff on return visits. Even though its in a strip mall(what isnt in FL?), once inside you forget that fact. Owner always stops by the table.

We have been going there for almost nine years. We have had one or two less than perfect meals, but they always make up for any shortcomings. Can’t ask for anything better than that. The food is impeccable, prepared just right, and served with great care. We go there for special occasions, guests, out-of-town guests, family, etc. Owners are local and almost always there, wanting to know how to do better. I don’t know, maybe free?

Excellent service and great choices in seafood and other specialties such as rosatto. Wine selection is good for a small local restaurant.
