Jackson’s Corner Store

Oh boy,
Classic small town store.
Currently Under new management since its existence.
Awkwardly designed at register. On busy days/​nights can get crowded and will have 2 lines formed for one register.
A-​ok food if you like your typical hamburger, pizza, grilled cheese.
I love their red hot dogs with a toasted bun!!!
During the summer they have homemade potatoe and macaroni (with mayo or with dressing) salad… way better than hannafids and not too much mayo… for nights where you don’t feel like making your own!
Several Grab n go groceries, deserts, candy, wine, beer, and ice cream/​frozen food choices.
Solid choice if in the area.
Beats general mills general store. However, milk room in waterboro is the best pizza and other hot items!

I grew up in Lyman Maine and I have to admit I am impressed Unilocal knows it exists since Facebook does not.
If you live in Lyman you have two real choices Goodwins Mills or Jackson Corner and well I am on the Jackson’s side. It is probably because I have been coming here since birth but still it is an experience so if you are driving by or staying in town it is a must see.
See Jackson’s is more than a store. It is the size of a small hut yet they have everything. Where else can you buy bait, tag a deer, buy Lyman t-​shirts, order a burger and fries, buy some booze and fill up your gas tank.
They have all the regular convience store items as well. They are also a redemption center.
The pizza is not very good but the burger and fries combo would put 5 star resturants to shame. There is a Dunkin Donuts next store but Jackson’s breakfast sandwiches are so much better.
