It’s a solid place for fro-yo, though I admit it does not really stand out to me. Not bad, but not spectacular. Their flavors are kind of generic, and you can find the same thing anywhere. The staff is quite friendly, though.

Good ice cream or whatever you wish to call it. Parking is often an issue in the area. Prices could be cheaper to entice customers. I would go again.

I consider myself a fro-yo fan, but this was my least favorite chain. None of the flavors appealed to me whatsoever. I tried numerous flavors here and each one tasted worse than the last. I ended up getting more toppings than actual frozen yogurt. The only redeeming factor is the super bright, modern décor. Otherwise, it’s not for me.

One of my favorite frozen yogurt establishments. The flavors are great and the yogurt itself is delectable! The employees are also a pleasure. I definitely recommend this place.

So i was skeptical at first trying out frozen yogurt, but after walking into this establishment and being overcome but the awesome feel and cleanliness of the place i was more then happy to try out the yogurt and see what it was all about. The staff is super friendly and you can have all the free samples you want. They charge 55 cent per ounce not by the cup so you can always come in one day and if you feel like having a little less or more one day its A ok. All of the toppings are fresh and are always very clean around the section with nothing mixed. Which is a very good thing. Another good note they have a reward program here as well, which offers you 5 dollars for ever 50points earned 1 dollar for 1 point(you get 25points for signing up online). Its a really nice place to get yogurt with lots of room to sit and relax, plus an outside area as well.

The staff is amazing. They helped me find my wallet. Just the sweetest girls I’ve ever met! I love the flavors and the toppings. It’s 16 handles so the choices are better than the lack of Long Island pinkberrys. What makes this one nicer is that they are super clean! You won’t find a sticky grenadine’d cherry dropped in the heap of coconut flakes. Yum!

Just left 16 handles. The employees are super nice. This was my first time going to a frozen yogurt spot other than Red Mango. They had a variety of flavors. I recommend the salted caramel but by itself. I have the Thai Vanilla bean, sprinkles(I think that’s what it’s called) with brownies and crushed waffle cone. Delicious! The place was nice and comfortable. I came here with a group of friends. We sat there for an hour and talked. Will definitely come back

Just like an other self serve fro-yo place. 16 flavors, tons of toppings. I don’t know why I bother meticulously picking out fro-yo flavors when I know I’m gonna douse the whole thing over-zealously with toppings. A great place to get all your candy fixes.

Solid creamy yogurt, beats red mango and pink berry any day. We got here Monday 930, it was still packed with people. The staff was very friendly, lots of toppings(more than red mango/pink), rich creamy yogurt, lots of seating areas Parking is street parking, they take cash and credit

Came this past friday. Great selection of frozen yogurts. Place was super clean and cute. Nice décor!!! The staff were friendly. My only«complaint» wold be that the yogurt melted too quickly, but besides that it was delicious. Oh the brownie bites were amazing toppings!

Great selection of fro-yo and toppings! It’s a nice change of pace… try the euro tart with the fresh fruit.

One of the better frozen yogurt place on LI. Unlike the vastly overrated Pinkberry and Red Mango(which always felt a little stuck-up and pretentious to me), 16 Handles has absolutely delicious frozen yogurt that makes you forget that you are eating something that is not ice cream. There’s definitely no «healthy» or imitation taste to these scrumptious fro-yo. The place itself is very clean and spacious with a bright and cheery vibe. It’s super cute, with it’s bright green ceilings, funky wallpaper, and colorful chairs. There are a ton of comfy seats; much more so than the 16 Handles in the East Village. You definitely won’t feel cramped in this place(unless you ate so much fro yo that eventually you feel cramped EVERYWHERE). My bf and I could have lounged in here for a good while, eating our frozen treats and enjoying the fun atmosphere. The girls working there were very friendly and attentive. When my bf and I walked in to check this place out, they immediately greeted us and offered us samples. They were so nice. This place is self serve, so you can decide how much fro yo and toppings you can cram in your giant biodegradable cup. There are many unique and delicious flavors(such as Coconut Custard, Irish Cream, and Salted Caramel) as well as a great variety of dry toppings, fruits, and syrups to give your dessert that extra kick. My bf and I shared a big serving of delish pomegranate tart with various candy toppings and the most awesome strawberry bursters(tiny balls that burst strawberry flavor in your mouth). I’m not sure how much they charge by ounce, but we’ve only paid $ 3.83 for a good amount of frozen yogurt that left us both comfortably satiated. We could have easily paid twice that in Red Mango. It’s pretty cheap. 1oz is 49cents. We will definitely come back and next time I am getting a rewards card(1 point for every $ 1 spent, 50 points=$ 5 reward).

This place is great! The kids that work behind the counter are pleasant and attentive. The store is all about the kids, even though I don’t have any kids and my girlfriend had to hold my hand and drag me into the store I like their frozen yogurt. Just be a little patient with your fellow customers and everything will be alright.

I am not a big frozen yogurt but this place is actually pretty good. The reason I don’t love fro yo is because there is usually an after taste and here there is no issue. This place is super clean with a friendly staff. They let you sample the flavors before you purchase them, then you get to mix and match any flavor you want and as much of it a you want because this is self serve frozen yogurt. Then you go to another station where a variety of toppings and sauces are and you can go crazy. Move forward and a a member of the staff will weigh your creation and then eat away!

I really like this place. There’s a good mix of flavors and every topping I could think of. I go here about once a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will sometimes comment about what a good job I did making my dessert. That’s always nice. I like it more when there aren’t huge throngs of teenagers, or worse yet, kids under ten with parents. They clog up the line. However, this isn’t 16 Handles’ fault, and I’m sure it keeps their lights on.

I’m a bore. I’m old fashioned. I want someone to make my iced dessert for me. I don’t want to operate a machine and pour my toppings on it, then be charged for my labor. I want to have a selection of normal flavors not peanut butter frozen yogurt, passion fruit, salty caramel and other such stuff. Give me an option for plain, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. If you like the other stuff, that’s great but don’t alienate me. There were plenty of handles(16 I think) and that’s enough to squeeze in the staple flavors and still leave lots of room for the wild ones. Another thing, when the general public is allowed to operate machinery like that, bad things happen. People are confused, dont know what to do and stare like deer in headlights. They then create issues for the well adjusted patrons. Okay, I did have the pistachio and it was delicious.

YESSSSS!!! Someone other than Pinkberry or Red Mango finally got it right! 16 handles. Self serve fro yo, but the GOOD kind that actually tastes like real yogurt, not frozen yogurt trying to imitate ice cream which I happen to find revolting. The best way to describe it would be: PINKBERRY + REDMANGO + do it yourself + awesomeness = 16HANDLES 16 different and awesome flavors such as pomegranate(my favorite), euro tart(classic real yogurt taste), coconut crème, cake batter, cheesecake, strawberry banana and chocolate to name a few. The variety of toppings is ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like this. Chunks of RAINBOWCOOKIES, macaroon brownies and every other random and delicious dessert item you could possibly think of along with fresh fruit, breakfast cereal and then liquid toppings i.e. hot fudge, caramel, etc. After you go crazy and fill up your cup with decadence, you weigh and pay. The staff is extremely friendly and was offering to let us sample pretty much every flavor. The interior is trendy and modern, like most of these places that seem to be popping up all over the place with ample seating. I am thrilled that a GOOD fro-yo place has opened up on Atlantic so I don’t have to drive to RVC or Oceanside for Red Mango. I don’t like to leave the confines of my town, so this is just the greatest.
