I called to see if I need a reservation. They seemed friendly & busy, not snooty at all. They seem pricey by their menu. I’m thinking of coming on down tonight. I subscribed to their emails. I’m thinking of moving into Lynbrook. They made me feel like I belong.

Place is a great place to have a DECENT meal. Foods usually consistent, as well as drinks. Waitstaff is okay at best which I feel is one of the most important pieces to a restaurant. Maybe should look to make more in-house items instead of using frozen and store-bought ingredients and sauces.

It’s very homey here. From staff to patrons everyone is friendly, the vibe is easy going. Reminds me of evenings at a pub… in Ladbroke Grove. I’ve only ever been here on Sunday evenings and each time a wonderful time is had. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always on point. They are attentive without being overbearing. Cool without seeming to try hard. Oh and mature. Very mature and knowledgeable. The food I’ve tried… calamari, chicken wings, shrimp, veg, rib bits and burgers were very tasty and filling. It’s good bar food if you get my drift. You dont? Well it’s not the greatest food I’ve ever had, but if you’re out for a few pints with your girly or boy then you’ll actually enjoy prepping your stomach with the very good and delish wholesome meals they serve here. Nicely presented too. Pearsall’s can appear packed as you enter but there’s usually room for a few more. It appears small but has quite a bit of booths. It’s a nice spot to bring the entire family. Nice spot to catch up. Netflix and chill? Nah, try Pearsall’s and chill, you won’t regret it. They say time flies when you’re having fun and PS has made me a firm believer. My advice, put the watch and phone away and just… chill. I’ll be back. The End.

This place is solid. I’ve been here so many times it’s hard to review. I’ve eaten just about everything on the menu and their classic American fare can’t be missed. I especially love their steak tidbits; it’s like a lot of steak and thick and juicy, unlike some places that give you thin pieces. Happy hour on the week nights gives you a buy back so it’s always a great deal. Bartenders are friendly and attentive and the waitstaff is always on the ball. Somewhat dark and dreary, but in a charming way; like an old pub. You won’t be disappointed.

I was very disappointed with this place. I expected a lot more. I went with two other guests and during a slow time. The waitress was very unpleasant and seemed like she just wanted us to hurry up and leave. The apps(mozzarella sticks and sampler) were a huge disappointment. Not worth the price at all. This is probably a place for an older crowd, but then the entrée I myself had a Cesar salad which one would think you can’t mess up. The chicken was very plain and the salad very dry. I probably would not go back unless I was sitting at the bar for a drink.

The people are nice but I’m not crazy about the food. It’s just ok, nothing too fancy.

I have been here a hundred times. It is very good. It has a pub like atmosphere. The brunches are great and of course the hamburgers are great.

Swung through town looking for a decent dining spot for the family. You walk into a bar type area, which was weird, but I think we came in the wrong entrance. Anyway, the staff was very helpful and all outstandingly nice. The plates are huge. Food was decent, not over the top awesome, but perfectly acceptable. Really like the little private type booths they have.

Party of 3. When we arrived, the place was busy but we were told it would be 25 – 30 minutes for a table. We wound up having to wait almost an hour and a half! Finally seated in a booth, the waiter comes to the table… and doesn’t say a word! Not a name, not a «Hi. How are you?» I still have no idea what his name was! We ordered mild wings(I’d hate to see how hot either the medium or hot wings were!) as an appetizer for all of us. We all ordered burgers. I specifically requested no onions. What do I get on my plate? A HUGE slice of onion! Fortunately, the bacon cheese burger I ordered was pretty good otherwise, this would have easily been a 1-star review.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and staff! It tends to get busy after 6pm, especially on weekends. It can be loud at times due to being a sports bar, but it’s a great place for all ages to enjoy. The staff is polite, including the managers, they are always accommodating. We are seated in a timely manner, no matter how busy it is. Great burgers, specials, and chicken pot pie! One of my favorite restaurants in Lynbrook!

The place had great energy, & very good food. A few downers was that they were unable to take a reservation on a Friday night, and that the place was very loud, so it was difficult to carry on a conversation. But I wasn’t there for the social time, I was there to eat. so with that said, I was able to enjoy the skirt steak which came with garlic mashed potatoes, string beans & carrots. This meal also included a salad, which was a nice add on. The steak was prepared well. I’ve enjoyed skirt steak from others places that were seasoned better, but for $ 17 i thought it was a good deal so I was satisfied. I also had the chance to try some of the coconut crusted chicken which although I’m not a big fan of coconut, the chicken wasn’t dry & flavorless, so I would suggest this dish. A great deal for $ 15. Which brings me to what I’m going to say next: The one aspect about pearsalls that stuck out to me was the portions — this place offers you a lot of food for the price. I thought this was great, because it brought me back to a time when you could go to certain restaurants & you would be guaranteed a meal with portions that made you feel you were getting your money’s worth. Unfortunately, since I was driving I didn’t have the chance to try a beer or two. However, I was so pleased with my visit I can’t wait to get back to pearsalls, but the next time it’ll be as a passenger.

Let me start by saying that ANY brunch that offers free booze gets atleast 1 ½ stars from me, lol. With that said, I went with my wife and daughter yesterday for their Sunday Brunch. I ordered a bloody mary, and my wife a mimosa. My wife’s drink had a splash of vodka in it, and mine, well, to say the least, probably the worst excuse of a bloody mary I’ve ever had. The drink came over with no garnish, loaded with black peppercorns and I can’t testify to the fact that alcohol was involved because all I tasted was tomato juice with huge peppercorns. The manager overheard my displeasure with the drink, and promptly offered to have the bartender make me a new one, explaining that they use a pre-made mix. Considering this was at 12pm when brunch started, I was a little baffled, but agreed to have the tender make a new one. Still no garnish, a little hint of horseradish, and still, very very light on the pour. We then proceeded to order off the brunch menu. My daughter had French toast off the kids brunch menu($ 8.95), my wife the grilled vegetable omelette($ 15.95) and I ordered the Seafood Newburgh($ 16.95). As soon as my food eventually came out, I was extremely disappointed to see imitation crab meat, the tiniest little shrimps imaginable, and a dab of Hollandaise sauce spread over it. My wife’s grilled vegetable omelette had a couple of pieces of vegetables in it, and my wife stated that she wasn’t even sure it was real eggs ! Our waiter was as attentive as an infant and looked completely clueless throughout the meal, not once checking in on us to see how everything was. He also had the personality of this keyboard in which I’m using to type. This was an absolute disaster of a Sunday Brunch, and an hour of my time I’ll never get back. We actually went to another restaurant a little while after because we didn’t eat. So, the 1 ½ stars are for the free watered down booze, and a little time spent with my girls. Other than that, I’d never in a million years recommend this poor example of a brunch to anyone !

Came here for Brunch yesterday. I made the reservation for 12:30pm for 8 people. We arrived a little early and were seated right away — they had our table already set up. The Brunch deal included unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers and bloody mary’s. I personally can’t have Orange Juice that our waiter, Brian, was very accommodating with selecting a different beverage. He was a sweetheart the entire time and put up with all of our shenanigans! We also had another person join us for a total of 9 people later on and they gladly pulled up another chair for us. There were about three different brunch group selections for different prices($ 15.95-$ 16.95-$ 17.95.) The menu had a wide variety of choices like simple eggs, french touch, eggs Benedict, omelettes, to options like burger, salad, steak & eggs, etc. I had the«American Grill» which came with three eggs, 2 slices of french toast and a side of the skillet potatoes. Yum! Few others had omelettes which were huge and delicious. Brian did a great job at making sure everyone’s glass were always full! ;) Be aware that the unlimited drinks come to an end when everyone is finished eating. They included an 18% gratuity for groups over 8 people. Brian made us aware that this was included — which I appreciate because some places can be sneaky with that. I believe it came out to roughly $ 25 a person which is a great deal for 2 – 3 hours of a fun time! We will definitely be back!(ps they had TVs around of the football games!)

Used a gift certificate here, and it was nice night out. They did not take RSVPs over the phone but we got there early enough for a short wait. I didn’t know this place was here, the food was delicious and a pleasant surprise. Good: –A lot of great choices on the menu, it was hard to choose something –Pearsall’s Southside Sampler –Steak and Shrimp Scampi had good steak –Pearsall’s Burger with everything on it!!! It was huge and filling –Service was good –Parking out front on Sunrise is free on the weekend after 6pm to avoid the meters Bad: –Yelp says you can RSVP, but you can’t, at least on Saturday nights –After 6pm, things get crowded fast –The several folks that were waiting for a table, kind of just stood in the only corridor, if the bar is crowded there really isn’t anywhere to not wait awkwardly

Great food! Always fresh. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Great place to watch a game while you dine. I love the crabcakes. The cajun chicken breast is awesome. Spinach dip is great. Its hard to choose what you want at Pearsall’s.

Went for brunch this past Sunday. Staff were so nice and friendly. Food was very good too. Nothing CRAZY. Prices are also very reasonable. Which I always love. Wouldn’t say it was my favorite brunch spot but I would go back again. I had the crab cake royale which was good. Also came with a side of potatoes/hash browns. Very filling. Two crab cakes with tomato onion and shrimp on top. It was good. Hubby had the steak and eggs he said it was very good as well. I would definitely recommend.

This is definitely my go to neighborhood spot. The food is always consistent and great. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken pot pie. I would definitely recommend this place with the exception of going in a large group as the seating area is quite small. They do have a bigger booth upfront, but I always find it a hit or miss if it is available.

Hubby and I were headed home after his Great Aunt’s interment and decided to grab something to eat in the area. As per usual, Unilocal came to the rescue. We looked up places nearby and Pearsall’s had some good reviews, so we decided to give them a try. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the server came to the table shortly after. I really wanted brunch but didn’t think to call ahead to confirm that they offered brunch because it seems that, out here, they mainly serve brunch on Sundays. I was a little bummed to only have been given a larger lunch menu and a smaller lunch specials menu but then I noticed in the larger menu, that they offered a sampling menu of their brunch items with pricing listed, as well as a description under the sample menu title that says patrons are allowed brunch drinks while they dine. When I inquired about what was clearly printed in the menu, I was told that it did not apply and not all the entrees were available and as for the drinks, they were a la carte. A little disappointing, to say the least. We made the best of the situation and ordered. Hubby had the Hot Open-Faced Roast Beef and I had Steak and Eggs. Both entrees came with Steak fries. We had a couple screwdrivers and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was really good. During our meal, Santa came by with some of his elves(I’m dead serious) and he dropped my our table and gave us a couple candy canes. It was a good time on an otherwise somber afternoon. Upside, we learned that this spot is literally blocks from our cousin’s new home so it looks like we’ll probably be by to try them out again… hopefully for Sunday brunch.

I haven’t been to this location since it switched over from BK Sweeney’s to Pearsall’s. Same kind of vibe. Nothing has been really drawing me there but since it’s been on my list, I decided to finally give it a shot for brunch this past Sunday. We parked at 11:00AM, not realizing the restaurant did not open until 11:30AM. At that time, we hopped inside. Their brunch options are separated into 3 «tiers» based on price.-$ 15.95, $ 16.95, and $ 17.95. Every ascending level had more enticing options than the previous. The lowest level had the basics-eggs, French toast, etc. The second level had omelets, some seafood, and other specials. The highest level had the expensive meats-steak and crab. Any entrée includes an assorted bread basket(which had corn muffins, bagels, and cakes), juice, coffee, and alcoholic beverages(mimosa, Bloody Mary). The Breakfast Pizza was calling my name. I ordered a Bloody Mary while we were waiting. While drinks are unlimited during your meal, there was barely any alcohol. Sometimes it’s better not to even offer unlimited«drinks» if there is no intention of making a real, strong drink. Due to the poor quality of the drink, I only ended up having one. My Breakfast Pizza, on the other hand, was delicious. It had: scrambled eggs. chorizo sausage, onion, peppers, Monterey Jack & cheddar cheese served with skillet potatoes. The flatbread was very crispy. The portion was huge, easily split between 3 people. There is really nothing original about Pearsall’s(for brunch, at least) but it’s a decent option for the Lynbrook area.
