This is my favorite Bobs. Even though he interior is outdated, the service and food are on point. I like the fry seasoning on the tables and the servers are always great when I modify the standard burger order. For great food and service, this is THE Bobs to go to.

This is the original Bobs Burger and Brew and it has been my favorite restaurant ever since I can remember chomping down on one of their massive burgers, stuffing my face with a hand full of their incredible fries smothered in Tartar Sauce, and having a great time with family and friends doing it. I have lived in Lynden my entire life, and one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of this town is this restaurant. Whether your celebrating a special occasion, catching a bite with your buddies, or even having a date Bobs is always at the top of the list. The menu is flawless. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been there but I haven’t tried something new and been dissapointed. Breakfast is essential as their eggs Benedict is one of the best ways you can wake up in the morning and then go back to sleep after. Their burgers are huge and they are piled with their long crispy fries. The salads are humongous, with a variety of kinds and dressings. I love their chowder and the other soups such as the cream of broccoli are a perfect appetizer to get you through the wait for your food. I’ve never had a dessert because I am always so full but I’ve heard they are great. Popular place for local girls from high school to work at so I always have known the servers and even if I didn’t, received very good service. They always check in on you, able to give you any request you need, don’t leave the table after serving until everyone is satisfied with the plate laying before them, and they are great at small talk. If you don’t like to be bothered then this might bug you but compared to other places it is a good balance. A few of my favorite things about Bobs is the quantity, quality, and fair price for your food. They have expensive dishes but the main menus are fairly priced and Always have been. The place is kept extremely clean. Tables are cleaned and ready efficiently. It is a popular place so sometimes in big parties you may have to wait for your table. Unlike other locations that are newer, this bobs is a bit smaller but they have a drive through window as well which my wife and I personally use frequently. The only negative things I will say is that when doing the drive thru we constantly request extra dipping sauces and almost alwAys get the minimum. The bar is very small and typically packed with regulars that take over the whole place. The actual bar is nice with a view of a TV and the bartenders Pour heavy!

Thursday night I ordered the Cranberry Turkey Burger with Potato Wedges and got the Avacado Turkey Burger. At least the Avacado burger was good. So we’re the potatoes(even though there were 7 whole potatoes on my plate — which were the delicious saving grace to the meal). I was hoping the turkey burger would be made out of fresh ground turkey. It was not. It was made out or a frozen Patty that had no flavor and was like chewing jerky. Disgusting doesn’t even come close to describing it. The weird dill sauce on top was weird. If I hadn’t been expecting something else it may have been good, but its not Cranberry. I know I could have sent it back, but I was there with my grandpa and we had a time requirement. He ordered a salad with his meal… Which was delivered with his meal rather than before. Bob, you need to try the turkey so you can take it off the menu. That was not turkey, it was cardboard. Previously frozen cardboard. I ordered the Raspberry Dreamsicle which is supposed to be served in a martini glass with a shaker to keep it cold and was served in a cocktail glass instead. So many little mistakes. I moved to another state but was looking forward to coming back to the original Bobs and being greeted with comfortable familiarity and wasn’t. Deeply disappointed.

This place has lost a step or two. The competition has gotten a bit tighter. I used to come here almost everyday for lunch. I feel that $ 13 for a wrap is just to much. I think you could justify that price if you stuck more meat in the wrap. The last three times being there I have had an over whelming amount of lettuce, it was the only thing I tasted. Also, half the time my wraps would fall apart because of poor rolling. The good is the servers are always nice & on top of things. The food isn’t bad, it just needs to be tweaked.

There are better Bob’s around Bellingham – go there instead. The extremely dated exterior/interior and slow service made this an experience I will not repeat. Had to wait to be seated(no hostess, just a guy in the kitchen and a gal cleaning booths until our server appeared.) And we waited even longer(10 minutes at least) to have our bill taken care of, and we could see the server in the kitchen, doing other tasks. Plus, our entrée was charged as $ 1 more than the menu list price. The only saving grace is that the food is good and the server was really nice – when she was around. Two stars, don’t waste your time. You’ll get the same food but faster service and better atmosphere at the downtown or Barkley Bob’s.

Seen this place around and finally decided to try it. Way over priced! I’m pretty sure nothing that comes from that kitchen is homemade. If you’re looking for overpriced low quality food, go here. Will never go back. The only reason I gave it a 2 star was because of the friendly staff.

Super friendly staff. Menu was mainly burgers, as is in the name. I recommend the steaks though. I forget what the name of mine was(Prime something) and it was amazing. Prices are slightly more expensive for the steaks, but they are way better than anywhere else I have gone. If I ever meander my way 6 hours norther again, I will definitely make this one of my stops!

Pros: super-friendly service the day I came in, framed pictures of Mount Baker, and the pulled pork in the special that day was amazing Food is overall decent, but nothing to write home about. There’s certainly a lot to wade through on the menu. Cons: I really didn’t want to hear the football shouts upstairs(though I suppose it was my fault for being there); I was disappointed that Happy Hour was ONLY upstairs; sandwich names are very literal and not punny

I’m so glad we have Bob’s here in Lynden. Went there again tonight and on the way out I said to my husband, «We’ve never had a bad meal here.» It’s true. It’s always good. The service is friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is kind of retro… which is great for someone like me who grew up in the 80’s. I hope they don’t update the décor because it has real charm. This is a great family place. Something for everyone! Long live Bob’s Burgers and Brew!

The food is decent but over priced. For the price they charge, I would have expected the veggie burger to be homemade rather than a frozen Gardenburger.

Nice people, good food, and lots of it! I ordered a double-sized burger some time ago, which was a big mistake, had to take half of it home(it kept well overnight, so I had a nice lunch the next day)

Decent solid burgers. Every single time, and I do mean every single time, any order I place to-go something goes wrong. Usually they get the order wrong, forget something or the food gets soggy before being eaten. Order out at your own risk at the Lynden Bob’s.

I wanted to focus on breakfast because this little gem of a place that isn’t just for burgers! It’s one of our favorite breakfast places in Lynden. We’ve had several items on the menu and they’ve all been delicious. A friend and I ALWAYS split our order because the portions are huge. Today we split the veggie omelet and substituted sausage patties instead of hashbrowns. It comes with your choice of bread, and we chose whole wheat toast. On another visit, we split the Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream(add eggs and choice of meat) and still came out under $ 10. Our server said they get a lot of Canadian traffic, so I just wanted to give it a good report for folks on this side of the border too. By lunch, the crowd is huge(mostly men in various uniforms:) but at breakfast, you pretty much have your choice of seating. I’m hoping our reviews change that dynamic:)

I love Bob’s. Me & the boyfriend can share a plate of food here, especially the breakfast. American Sized Portions at their best. The chicken fried steak is definitely good but artery clogging. I also love their cheese burger’s — good on the road food, for sure. It’s the same waitress every time & she is really attentive and awesome. Yay for Bob’s.

All the Bob’s pretty much have the same food. The fish and chips are great and the burgers always come with way more fries then anyone could ever eat. Service is usually fast and friendly and they have a full bar. This one is on the smaller side and as I remember could get real busy on the weekends.
