Best chinese food around. I get crab rangoons and the sesame chicken combo at least once a week. The crab rangoons always taste really fresh and the sesame chicken is white meat and delicious. love this place.

Have to say, when you need Chinese food fast, this is your place! Lunch time is usually eat while you work time, so getting something quick before my 1 PM meeting was necessary.
I ordered through Seamless, and had no issues whatsoever! They gave me my extra dumpling sauce for the ever favorite fried dumplings. The estimated delivery time was 11:30 — 11:45, and they were here 11:30am on the dime!
My main entrée for lunch was their white meat ($ 1 extra) chicken and broccoli– a pint order. Honestly, I appreciated that they made the whole container chicken and broccoli and a separate container for my white rice. There’s far too many places they rip you off and put everything in one tiny container. Not here! The meat was very taste, and the brown sauce was light and savory.
One star was taken away because more than one dumpling was a little burnt underneath, but the meaty insides were stuffed to the max! I’d definitely order from here again!

Food wasn’t good. Crab rangoons were sour tasting and the batter wasn’t sticking to the beef in the sesame beef we ordered. Maybe they had a bad night but I couldn’t eat my 30 dollar Chinese food and I will not be ordering again.

Food used to be good. They have gotten sloppy. Today they delivered bad food. It’s a health hazard. Called them, they are always polite but no action. Ideally they should have offered refund because I told them we threw the food. I told the owner, I am not going to order again.

So, I was craving soup. Went to the location and ordered a small soup with tofu and vegetables. I never thought I had to wait so long for a soup, I waited approximately 10 minutes!
The soup I have to say was very good. Ok so another day I decided to give them another chance, i ordered the same exact thing but now it was different. I called ahead of time and made my order in advance, did a little errands. Twenty minutes had passed by, I went to pick up the soup. And it’s NOT ready yet. OMG seriously?! Ugh I had to wait a few minutes, ugh.
I only had the soup from this place haven’t tried their food yet.

Fast delivery and the food is better than all of the other Chinese restaurants In the area.
I older it from eat 24 and this restaurant offers 2 dollars off coupon on the weekends.
Only reason I m giving 1 less of a 5 is because multiple times I wrote special instructions like sauce on the side or add chopsticks etc etc, they seem to forget to read it. Not a deal breaker but wish they were more careful.

I love their food! We order from them every Friday! I’ve never been there because we order for delivery so I’m not sure about sit down. Their food is the best I’ve had. And it gets delivered hot. My husband loves their Hot & Spicy Shrimp as well as General Tso’s chicken. I love the chicken in broccoli sauce combo as well as the shrimp in garlic sauce. For appetizer we eat the Fried Wontons and the Fried Vegetable Dumplings. Their soup is also very tasty.

I thought the Wonton soup was great and also enjoyed the lomain. My friends said the crab Rangoon were very good, but they hated the General Tso’s chicken because the sauce was a weird consistency. Overall a good experience.

their food is easily the most delicious in the area. whether it’s pick up or delivery, they are very prompt, and the food is competitively priced. even when a picky eater like me, rattles off very specific unusual instructions for the food, they always get it right.
on the first day of hurricane sandy — i went to pick up a ridiculous amount of food to last me a few days. when i got home, and realized 1 dish was missing, i called to tell them about it, and they sent someone to deliver the missed dish to me … during a hurricane…

I’ve been going here the past 5yrs. I actually live next to a Chinese restaurant, but Golden Star seems to be better. I’ve made order from $ 10-​$ 60 from them. There food is pretty good but there costumer service was unbelievably rude. I order a Veg Dish with white rice and spring rolls. I told him multiple times please make sure everything is veg. I make a order at 1:06pm i get my food at 2:10pm. I notice the food/​bag was luke warm. After opening the bag the egg rolls were so cold literally was spongy/​rubbery. The food was barely warm and i was given PORK fried rice. I called, man who took the order picked up. I told him the issue his response.
«oh so what do you wanna do about it?» that response was strange specially to someone who’s been support of there restaurant.
I reply, «im vegetarian i don’t eat meat.» He says back to me «uh well you wanna just eat it?» that pissed me off. I told him nicely i don’t eat meat and he says just eat it? Doesn’t even offer to send me the proper order. Than i get upset and ask for a refund he said no refund but i can send you food tomorrow. Tomorrow?.. once i had a chance i drove myself to the restaurant to literally give the food back and tell him to keep the money. There was young baby there, so i just left the food on the counter and walked away. I didn’t wanna be as rude as them…
I also notice they had a buddha statue/​temple at there restaurant, you would expect someone from those roots to understand when someone say there vegetarian because of religious beliefs. Guess not, well he got his money, i don’t care about the tip i gave the delivery boy, upset at the restaurant owner. Now is cash drawer has $ 10 of bad luck «cheated» money…
