Patsy’s Liquors

Good place to buy wine. New to the area and seems to be slim pickens as far as decent places to buy wine.
Good selection here at moderate prices. Some are very good and some are overpriced but on the whole you can find a good bottle. Lot’s of Italian choices and also American. They could do with a few more Australian and Argentinian selections.
Beer section is pretty decent and looks like a good selection of craft beers. The hard liquor section is large but not what I look for so not a big deal for me.
The layout is organized and easy to shop plus very neat and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful!
Very convenient location and easy parking.

I’m a proud (lazy) American. So when Patsy’s (which was perfectly flush with Shop-​Rite so you could get your food and spirits in one smooth move) opted to close and move to the other side of the parking lot/​strip mall I was livid. I was planning on boycotts and protests and riots. But being lazy I just decided to just complain on Facebook (where my 11 friends ignored me anyway).
But then I ventured into this wondrous giant store and I was an instant convert. Cleaner, larger, and more importantly… some of the really rude workers from the other store didn’t make the trek over which had me delighted.
A damn fine selection of craft beers and wines on top of the usuals you’d expect… it’s my go-​to liquor store.
(The perfect trifecta on a Friday night: Shop-​Rite for supplies, Gencarelli’s for pizza, and Patsy’s for the libations.)
