Had a Buffalo Chicken slice recently and it was great! I must come back and try more splices. Everything on display looked really appetizing. The person who took my order was really pleasant and nice. The eatery itself is really clean and well kept. Great place.

I have been here twice with my fiancé and we have enjoyed it both times. The food was so tasty, in many ways that it is imperative to experience. The portions of pasta are amazing and filling to the extent of feeling like a stuffed rice ball. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a casual, well priced and delicious food. I will be back on Friday. –Marcos

The food here is usually okay, and my family and I always have a pretty good experience when we dine in. That being said, I have never ordered a takeout order that didn’t have something missing/incorrect. That isn’t an exaggeration by any means. this has happened to us at least 5 times. More upsetting than the mistakes(which I understand happen) is the service you get; very apathetic, no apologies, no attempt to make amends. Details like this are what really end up deterring customers.

Disappointed to say the least. I ordered a gluten free pizza and asked for veggies on it. He said to me peppers onions and mushrooms are okay? I said yes. I went to pick it up and they forgot to put it on so he said he would add it I said that’s okay just leave it plain cause then it just lays on top. He insisted on putting it on anyway. Then he charged me 2 dollars for mushrooms, 2 dollars for onions and 2 dollars for peppers. So I cost me 16 dollars for a little 4 slice gluten free pizza with veggies that didn’t even stay on the pizza. I was absolutely upset about it. Very expensive. Uno Chicago grill has a better gluten free pie and it’s cheaper. I won’t go back and I used to go all the time.

Eaten here three times so far and it’s always been good. Twice for lunch and now once for dinner. You get plenty of food for the price and it’s been great every time. You get your food very fast as well so the wait is very little. Three of us were in and out in just under an hour at that. Definitely going to keep returning to this place.

This place isn’t bad. Food is good and you got a lot for what you’re paying. The waitress got confused easily. I would definitely come back.

Really good Italian food. I don’t think I ever had a bad plate. The pizza is delicious, the entrees are delicious. You can’t go wrong. The reason for 4 stars, not 5. The last 2 pickups, they got my order completely wrong. I had to drive back and pick up the order. I was annoyed because they wouldn’t drop off the food. I understand they don’t deliver but it wasn’t my fault that they gave me the wrong order. It was two times in a row that they did this. I love their pizza. Plain pie, pepperoni, vodka sauce, meatballs, mushrooms, buffalo chicken pie — all delicious! The menu is great, I have not experienced everything but my favorite is their chicken and broccoli entrée. Excellent! BYOB, you can’t go wrong! The service in the dining area is very good. I always enjoy eating here and will be back really soon.

I am so upset with the service there!!! Tonight was my moms birthday and we made reservations for dinner. I called 2 days earlier and made the reservation for 15 people for dinner. Well, we all arrived 10 minutes early and saw that they never held the tables for us. Not only that but they did not even apologize. In fact they sat a table of 8 that had just told me that they did not make reservations. Super rude!!! So thankfully we went to Mr. Bruno’s around the corner and they totally saved our night!!!

Good Italian pizza place that’s more than a pizza place. Good sauce and I like that it’s a BYOB. Friendly and accommodating.

I live in town and there are better places for pie. Counter guy takes your money and no thank you? ‚(poor toilet training leads to bad manners). BTW there was never a «hello». The greet was«want do you want?»

I was looking to get some pizza for lunch. I stumbled upon this place since it was nearby and it’s Italian. When I make my order I was told that there was only one slice of regular pizza left. Since I was getting 2 slices he told me I can wait for the regular pizza pie to be ready or get another slice of whatever they had available. Since my time was limited I decided to get a margherita pizza. While I am waiting, the guy attending me tells me he is very sorry but he dropped the regular slice pizza. I didn’t really have much time so I just took my one slice of margherita pizza which was approximately nealry four dollars. I went back to work and that slice was not even good. What a horrible experience! I was also starving… should of just gone to Wendy’s.

Best Italian food in town! Can’t get enough. From their tortellini Alfredo to calzones, you can’t go wrong with Gencarellis. The staff is awesome too! Ask for Dakota. Funny, fast, and is extremely pleasant.

To me, this is an example of quantity over quality. Every time I eat here, I always seem to get a stomach ache, which gives me suspicions of bad meat? I don’t know honestly, and I normally have an iron stomach. The red sauce is okay, not terrible but not great either. The mozzarella sticks taste like they just got heated up from the freezer. Speaking of which, actually I have had better frozen to be honest, and that is sad. The service here is also lacking. When you go to pick up your order, be prepared for a cold welcome. And for food that is less than stellar in my opinion, it just adds fuel to the fire. 2 stars for the portion sizes and free bread.

It was ok. The inside was nice, we came in the early afternoon for pizza and it was pretty empty. We got 2 cheese slices and a Grandma slice. After living the last 12 years in NYC, we are somewhat of a pizza snob(s), so I wouldn’t say it was the best pizza, but their rootbeer was good. The pizza was ok… looked better than it tasted. Not much flavor, and didn’t have the NY pizza texture we love. The Grandma slice had a weird flavor, too.

This place can’t seem to ever get an order correct. I gave them one more try yesterday. I placed an order and told them twice to leave dressing on the side for my salad. The dressing was ON the salad when I open the bag. I called to complain and the person who answered the phone apologized and said«he wasn’t surprised». Then I found a hair in my salad. Last time I’ll be going here!

I’m not certain how this place has received 4 stars from some customers. I ordered the lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, and veal marsala along with garlic bread. The only thing that was decent was the bread. The«lasagna» was layers of plain pasta with a slight scattering of ground meat that was akin to dog food in only 3 of the 8 Layers I could count. I’m sorry but I refuse to lie. My dad couldn’t eat his meatballs. The meat looked grey. And my mother’s veal Marsala smelled so foul she didn’t touch it either. I am loathe to give places such terrible reviews, but I honestly feel I wasted my money. That being said, I have not tried the pizza, but if three meals were huge fails in one order, I don’t think I’ll be returning for more.

Service was good. Food was lousy. The pizza slices at the counter looked like they had been made last week. My girlfriend’s eggplant parm was uncooked in the middle and inedible. My calzone took forever(I get it, calzones are made to order) but when it came it was cold in the center. But what really took the cake was the way this guy(presumably the owner) treated our waitress. I’m not sure what she did to aggravate him, but no employee should EVER be spoken to like that – especially in front of customers. There are about 20 Italian places within 5 minutes of this dump. Go to one of them. Don’t bother with this place and support an owner who treats employees so callously.

One of my favorite pizza and Italian eateries hands down. I’ve been going to gencarellis for several years now. They are not expensive and you will get HUGE portions. If you are a big guy like me, you’ll leave stuffed. If you aren’t as big as me, you’ll have lunch and dinner for the next day! Their chicken Sorintno and chicken parm dinners rock. Their meat lovers pizza is awesome. And Sylvia the waitress is outstanding. Great family place for pizza and Italian that won’t break the bank.
