Our car was overheating while we were out of town. These dishonest people told us we needed a new fan and a coolant flush for $ 500. Same problem on the way home. Mechanic at home did a block test and the head is cracked. So they either did not solve the issue which caused a serious problem, or they knew it has a serious problem and sold us $ 500 of worthless crap. At any rate the mechanic thinks they did NOT change the fluid as it looked like nasty brown jello.

We made an appointment the day before for a oil change and tire rotation. We waited quite a while before they put the car on the rack, then they totally abandoned it for an hour and a half. I asked the girl at the desk about it. Finally they started working on it quite a bit later. Two hours later the oil change was finished. Not sure why they required a reservation. I requested if I could buy some water to drink but no water. When we were paying she offered a 50% discount but the full charge she was going to do it on was $ 70. We informed her that we were quoted $ 24.95 the day before.

I have had issues with my 96 4runner for about a year and always debating with myself if I should take car of it myself or go to a professional. This case what I thought was a cracked head gasket was going to be very expensive, (looking online qoutes from other people) but when I came to tuffys tey took the time to actually try to figure out what was going on and took time out of their day to test my 4runner. What I thought was going to be a very expensive service turned out to be cheaper as the problem was somthing else entirely.
My water pump needed to be replaced and they did everything they could to make sure I wasn’t going to live in a shoe box after I paid for everything by giving me as much discounts as they could. Everyone was very professional and kind and I will defenetly be coming back here for my future servicing needs. Thank you jacob, Peter, Jason, and jay for taking good care of me and my 4runner.

Hello! I am from Texas, in Florida right now visiting family and just had to brag on one of your stores. My mom’s battery died and we called AAA to replace her battery… well, they didn’t have the right one but they did get the car started so we could get to Tuffy. My mom uses them regularly and now I know why. We pulled in and the parking lot was totally packed and I just had a bad feeling… lol. AND, we didn’t bring both cars so I worried that we were going to be in there all day. Enter Jason Griffith, store manager of Tuffy Lynn Haven in Panama City, FL. He was on the phone immediately with Honda getting info on replacing the battery without having to go to the dealership to get the (electrical panel??) rebooted or reprogrammed or something. At any rate, all of this as taken care of in 20 minutes. I was simply amazed! He was so kind and didn’t mind getting in the ‘trenches’ and fixing the battery. Please know that this girl is sorry you don’t have a location in Houston I could patronage. Thank you so much for instilling phenomenal customer service in your shops!

When an unexpected accident temporarily took our vehicle and kept us from using it, the team here were very quick and helpful in getting us back in our vehicle. They also helped with the insurance issues to make sure the adjuster knew exactly what was really wrong with the vehicle. We selected them based off of other friends and families’ recommendation. It was the right decision! We will be coming back again as needed.

These guys are awesome and honest and will not stear you wrong. Service is fast and complete and thorough. Highly recommended!
