Chicken is dry(so dry, we drained the Rezzy) and tastes old, steak and cheese was very greasy, too bad Georges is closed. Ugh.

We went for the pizza but the PITABREAD is amazing. Two small pies both very good and the crust is awesome. Try the PESKY. Service was quick and clean. The owner was super nice and made good recommendations. The menu is huge and there are lots of good options we will try in the future. The small pizzas are big and the toppings were good quality.

The last time I went to A+ Pizza(maybe 5 months ago) the pizza tasted like they dumped Spaghetti-O sauce on it. The other night I was hungry for some pizza and thought about driving over to Fauci’s because they are open late and offer a pretty hearty slice. However, because I didnt feel like driving over to that side of Lynn, I considered the two shops right in my immediate vicinity: George’s and A+. George’s pizza slices are small and salty, I remembered A+ serving a bigger and taster slice for the buck, so I went there. The pizza had redeemed itself over those couple of months. It was back to being good. Additionally, I had the chance to chat with the owner a bit after my meal. He is young, enthusiastic, and appears to be very honest about his business. He was in the middle of tweaking his marinara sauce recipe during our conversation. After which, he treated me to his creation with a meatball to see what I thought. I was surprised by how balanced the flavor was. Marinara sauces can range from a strong vinegar base to salty and to even sweet. His new sauce was a perfect blend of them all. Also, the meatball was very tender and flavorful. It was so good that I came back tonight to get a meatball pasta dish. Come to find out, he makes the pasta(I had linguini) by hand. The entire dish was then coated with a thick layer of melted mozzarella cheese and served with homemade bread and olive oil. I doubt I could have had a better pasta dish elsewhere– especially for the money. Apparently this gentleman is a new owner of this restaurant(relatively anyway). He seems very enthusiastic about building a reputation on good customer service and excellent food and a very reasonable price. You cant really go wrong with that combination. I would highly recommend this place for cheap high quality Italian food, and wish A+ Pizza the best.

Great place, good pizza and subs, love the calzones, excellent portions, unbeatable prices, what more could anyone want. *uck dominos, give these people your hard earned money and receive something good and locally made for it. Update as of 11÷29÷11 Well I’m no sure what happend, but the last few orders where horrible, a calzone so burt it was uneatable, and two salads both with no dressing, old lettuce and not much more in the mix, just for added fun the bag was full of sugar ants WTF was with the ants. what a shame to see this place sink so fast. so I’m dropping A plus down to one star.

I was a champion of this place when they first moved there. Finally, I thought, an alternative to Georges! Ever since this place has been the ‘Hatfield’s’ to the Georges ‘Mcoy”. Soon, Georges Roast Beef started offering«Popeyes Pizza’(never tried it, but I’m sure its awful. like everything else on their menu). A plus then countered with serving Roast Beef sandwiches and getting a license to stay open later. They were really new when we started ordering from them, and I felt like it was a different pizza every time. As if they hadn’t decided how they wanted their pizza to taste… sometimes it was good, sometimes it sucked. The onion rings are just awful. The chicken fingers are decent. To me this just another example of Lynn mediocrity. Unlike all the other places before A Plus(the fried chicken place, «Monte Cristo», «Beef World»…) this place probably has the best chance for success. They have an arcade game inside and some booth’s to sit at if you just want to chill and have a slice. So overall they’re not too bad. I was expecting them to move in and raise the standards of Lynn pizza shops but i guess that’s not really possible considering all the mediocre crap in Lynn. *i’m looking at you, Caruso’s and Pizza Lovers.

I came home last week to find this menu in my mailbox. I was impressed by the jubilee of options this pizzeria offers ! Tri-fold menu double sided with a lot more than just your normal pizza . They offer twenty-eight«gourmet pizza» options that range from Tuscan(broccoli, sausage roasted red pepper, garlic & oil) to Poseidon(gyro, feta, onions, tomatoes & olives). This place also offers a great deal of calzones, which are a great choice if your getting tired of the normal slice of pizza. Of course then they offer the normal dinner plates along with hot and cold subs. in addition to the wing and burger dinner plates you can find at any pizza or sub shop, they offer an array of pasta dishes. I probably got a little too excited for this, but god do I love me some starchy saucy goodness that pasta provides. Oh! Another thing that puts this place high above the dozens of shops in Lynn, they offer a boatload of wraps. The wraps are creative, a great choice to get instead of a sub, and all had my mouth watering as I read the descriptions and ingredients. After going over their menu for hmmm 30 minutes, we finally narrowed it down to a few things to try: pasta primavera dinner, chicken wing dinner, and buffalo chicken calzone(we’re fattys, don’t hate). The yummy food was at our doorstep in almost exactly a half hour, and we were very satisfied to say the least. The calzone was homemade and cooked to perfection. It wasn’t filled with grease or cheese like many other ones we’ve had. Their wings were crispy, HUGE and again, not wicked greasy which is always a plus. The pasta primavera was surprisingly good. The chicken was super moist and the veggies were fresh, both covered with just enough sauce. I did add salt to it, but I will admit I tend to enjoy salt more than your average bear :) What I really found impressive was that their chicken wings, fingers, cutlets, eggplant, veal and meatball parm dishes are HOMEMADE. Oh yeah, I said it, they have real italian dishes at this place! I am very happy that A Plus decided to do some marketing and deliver their menus to my neighborhood, it was a great business move and they scored themselves at least one household that will become a regular.
