Do not ever eat there. I had pieces of metal in my pizza and they did nothing but give me a free cheese pizza. I called manager and never even got a call back. Terrible customer service. I should have sued them. I am not that kind of person. Even gave them the metal back and still nothing. They should have comped our order and given me a gift card. Totally disgusted with them.

Pizza is alright and buffalo tenders are pretty good but not like i remember them to be years ago. They definitely have gone down the drain. Don’t bother with delivery. By the time they make it you could have walked there and back twice. It’s one of those places you sit and eat a slice and go on your way.

What happened to Caruso’s I miss the days you went in there and Jerry was yelling at jimmy and Johnny was yelling at Jerry and the food was the best

All I can say is whoa, what happened to Carusos. The food used to be great. Today I decided to eat here for the first time in about a year and I was very disappointed. I got my usual lasagna dinner, asked for garlic bread and meatballs. Now, the meatballs are 1.19 each, they say you can add a side of meatballs for 1.19, but that is not the case. The garlic bread was an additional 1.99, the dinner normally comes with a dinner roll, so the extra charge I understand, but after charging me full price for my garlic bread, they took out my dinner roll. Dinner comes with a side salad, that was ok. When i opened the container, I could not tell you where my meatballs were, I’m not even sure that they gave me two. The ricotta was so over seasoned with idk what, it was brown ricotta, I didn’t know if i was eating lasagna or Grinded up meatball mixed with cheese. Eventually I found some actual lasagna buried under the melted cheese that topped the entire plate, along with a piece of meatball. I am shocked in how poor the quality of the food was tonight, this visit was my last.

If it was a question between Kennedy fried chicken and this place, it’s a toss up realistically, but I still prefer Kennedy. They have 100000 choices from pasta to gyro’s to pizza slices. I had the gyro. The tzatziki sauce wasn’t my fave and the meat slices were ultra dry. Fries were good. Fried dough, not so good. My bf enjoyed the cheeseburger. I tasted it and the meat was not too flavorful. They looked much better inside than Kennedy. Had lots of seating and even a TV. Liked that it wasn’t cold inside. I even took off my jacket, I hardly ever do that in dining places because they crank up the ac or something. Pizza slices were pretty good. probably the best thing I had on my order. There was an old man there that kept pacing. At the beginning I thought he was waiting for his order, but later on it became evident that he was just lonely and hanging out, throwing out random comments to whoever might be listening. sad, really. I do like that they took cards, including AMEX! Yay!($ 5 minimum). not a problem since I always order exorbitant amounts of food. and A+ for staying open until 11pm on a tuesday.

Very mad that I waited 1 hour 27 minutes for my delivery! Pizza was ice cold! I called and the lady was very nice and sent another pizza 30 minutes later the delivery driver gives me an attitude and hands me my pizza upside down looks like I will never get delivery again!

I’m really surprised by all of the negative reviews of this place, I work down the street and pick up dinner from Caruso’s on my way to the bus about once a week, and I’ve never experienced bad service here at all! The people are always super nice and friendly and I LOVE the food. The buffalo chicken wrap is my go-to! They basically make a regular chicken finger/lettuce/tomato/onion wrap but then add the bleu cheese and buffalo sauce evenly throughout the wrap afterwards, which means the chicken stays crispy and the entire wrap stays fresh and flavorful without a soggy taste! It’s my favorite buffalo chicken wrap on the north shore!!! Don’t be fooled by these reviews and definitely stop by Carusos if you’re in town!

I love their chicken teriyaki pizza I haven’t had it in forever but I would love it. I don’t like the location of it for my own reasons but I love that it almost doesn’t feel like it’s downtown and super busy outside.

We only had the pizza from here and it was really really good! We had the plain cheese and the Greek pizza. They were both excellent!

Love the service. When I go home(currently living in SC), I always try to make it to Caruso’s. The cheese steak was good but seemed to be missing ingredients. This will not deter me from getting it again but I think I will stick to the pizza.

This used to be a great place to get pizza, calzones, salads, wraps and the like but things have seriously gone downhill. We ordered tonight(for the last time) and were really disappointed in both the quality of the food and the total lack of customer service. We ordered a chicken parm sub made with grilled rather than fried chicken. When we picked it up, we were assured that the order was correct. When we got home, we found that it was wrong. When we called to let them know of the error the attitude of the person who answered the phone was pitiful. My husband drove back to return the incorrect sandwich and get the right one and and found that both the guy making the food and the girl behind the counter were both totally not interested in apologizing for their error. They seemed put out that someone would return food to them, even if it was wrong. I think it’s fair to say that we won’t be going back to Caruso’s again. If they can’t be committed to meeting their customer’s needs, then I’ll find another place that is.

This place is disgusting. First time I got food poison cause of their chicken sandwich. Months later I decided to try it again. When I went to pick up the food my work place had ordered turns out they forgot to put the order in and the girl at the front had a nasty attitude about it. she didn’t even apologize. Disorganized, dirty, food isn’t great. Never again.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt like in this case I had to. Good News: The food was pretty decent. I really enjoyed my gyro sub(though cold) and my husband seemed to enjoy the BBQ Chicken Pizza(though cold). Bad News: Took over 1 hour and 40 mins for delivery(they gave an estimate of 30 – 40 mins). After calling back 3 times, one of the times I was placed on a 5 minute«hold». I say«hold» because I was clearly just placed on the counter. I heard talking amongst the new customers walking in the door, so I hung up and called back. The last time I called the worker told us «just pay $ 25 when the food is delivered», which I didn’t think was our job to tell the driver. The total came to $ 31, so a whopping $ 6 off. The driver was unaware of this and told us the total was $ 31. We’re not the kind of people that take discounts well, so we gave him $ 40. Wanting change, cause we figured that the pizza place would give him the $ 6 as a tip, we paid the $ 31. The driver said«Thank you» and started walking away. My husband had to ask for the change. The driver also parked 6 houses down and walked our food, on a cold night, to the door. When the food arrived, it was ice cold. I don’t think we will be ordering from here again.

To be honest I just came here because Caruso’s in Melrose was closed on Sunday night around 8pm. I’m a sucker for cities on the North Shore with character and I definitely think that Lynn has a real city feel with lots of culture, history, and diversity. My partner grew up in Mass and always sings, «Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin, you never come out the way you came in!» whenever I say Lynn. Honestly Lynn may no longer be the city of sin, but Caruso’s committed a sin. And the sin was that they were mopping with heavy duty pungent chemicals right by our table as we were eating their pizza. I immediately got up and made them pack it up in a box.(I also felt while I was at it, it needed to be a little more well done, so I told them to eat it a little bit longer too). The guy behind the counter was nice. The guy cleaning was obviously oblivious and thought what he was doing was no big deal. I understand you’re closing in like 15 minutes, but come on, just wait 5 minutes until your customers leave to mop your floor with those horrid chemicals. Other than that, Jeff was playing Keno, and I played a hunting game with a gun that shot at deer in the forest. That was fun! And I got pizza with pineapple. After it was cooked more, it was actually really good!
