I have been a die-hard Minos fan for as long as I can remember. The menu has remained consistent and loyal to its tastes throughout time. Beware not too order more than needed though for the food is pricey. The chicken wings are cooked to perfection each time. And you gotta get a jr. beef 3-way. Holy cow, my mouth is watering.

If you’re from Lynn, then you know that there’s always the debate over who has the better roast beef… John’s(on Western Avenue) or Mino’s(in Wyoma Square). Personally, I’m on Team John’s when it comes to roast beef, but Mino’s has the better greek salad, steak tips and chicken tenders. Parking is tight, but very manageable. Spots turn over very quickly as customers just run in to pick up their order. 3 very small booths in the restaurant– so prepare to take out. Good idea to call in your order. They do not take credit or debit cards; cash only.

I stopped in this humble little greek corner sandwich shop on the way back from a day at the beach, and was pleasantly surprised to get an epically delicious Boston Roast Beef Sandwich with mega fixins for less than six bucks! It def’t took the edge off of me and my partner’s hunger from a long day of swimming and clamming. Super friendly staff to boot! Great little greek place to pop into if you’re in town.

Nothing special and nothing bad about Mino’s. Seems like it was made and appreciated by locals. If you are in the area, probably your best option unless you head to Peabody for Land n’ Sea.

i tried mino’s the other day and was pleased. it’s cash only, so remember that when you go in! i got a roast beef with just sauce on a yummy toasted bun. the roast beef is a bit dryer than say kelly’s, but the sauce is so damn good. its like a spicey bbq sauce. they put a perfect amount on so you taste the beef/buttered toasted bun/and sauce all at once. pretty good! will def be back since its a block from my house ;)

LOVETHISPLACE! Def. my go to. I have gotten the steak cheese, buffalo chix YUM! and my fiancée always gets the roast beef… make sure you ask for BBQ sauce and all the fixings you want or you may jus get a plain roast beef. Will be back soon! thanks!

It’s ok — do yourself a favor and get a roast beef or a souvlaki sub. Just had a lamb souvlaki and the meat was soft, tender, feasible, flavorful. Plenty of feta and not overloaded with onions. I wouldn’t order anything else from here. Sometimes it can be hit or miss, but tonight was a hit. French fries, I didn’t care much for. Shoestring variety, tasted OK enough but they were bland, bland, bland. I suspect they were storebought [but they didn’t have that weird texture to them, so I can’t be sure.]

This place is OK. Unfortunately, there are not many great roast beef and sub shops around Lynn. We ordered a chicken finger plate and a BBQ steak tip plate. The chicken was OK. There was no dressing on the salad and the fries were really not that great. The steak was very well seasoned but didn’t taste like quality steak nor did it taste anything like BBQ. It all depends on what other places you try. I think once eating at a place like Nick’s in Saugus or Winthrop, it’s hard to like any other place. I know people also comment about the service, but I think it’s just how they are. They are not«warming» compared to other people, but you can’t take that personal. People are people. As long as no one is intentionally trying to be rude, it shouldn’t affect the scoring. I care about the food!

I honestly do not understand all the positive reviews for this place. I’ve ordered twice from this place. Both times customer service was horrible. They are really rude and indifferent in this place. It felt as they were doing me a huge favor by serving me. Both times I had takeout. Food is 2 out of 5, at best. First time I got steak tip salad, and I asked for extra steak tips for $ 3 more. When I got home and opened the salad, I was amazed. There was 7 tiny charcoaled pieces of chewy beef on top of 2 day old lettuce, along with some veggies. What a great deal for $ 12… I thought that I should give this place another try, and get something different. This time I got a roast beef sandwich(their specialty), with some fries. Roast beef was okay, nothing special though. Fries were soggy, and were sitting there for at least an hour or two. This place is right around the corner from me, but I definitely will NOT eat there again.

I give Mino’s zero stars! I’ve lived in Lynn for over 30 years, and Mino’s has been one of the most reliable take out places around… until now! I called in an order for two chicken kabobs in pita. The woman who answered the phone was rude, and I knew she had mixed up the order. I knew I was going to get the wrong thing. Sure enough, we went to pick up the order, and it was incorrect. AND, the people behind the counter seemed to think it was funny and laughed at us on our way out. Got the food home and it was awful. The chicken was so tough, i think they cooked it this morning. We just tossed it all down the disposal, and made ham sandwiches. Never again, will I give any business to Mino’s. As long as those rude, obnoxious, demeaning people work there, and the food is so bad., I will not go back. Thumbs down.

I’m lucky enough to live around the corner from this family-run Lynn institution. GREAT food ALL the time — really,. 100% consistent! They give you a LOT, too! I wish they had more parking but you can easily park on the street.

Yeah, this place is the real deal. Almost worth making a special trip to Lynn for! Great atmosphere — I walked in and the first thing I saw was a white-haired old lady totally going to town on a large steak and cheese sub. Awesome! The roast beef, sauce and cheese was divine. May be the best one I’ve had in MA so far. And the’ve got the«Best Roast Beef» plaques lining the walls to prove it. Like 15 years running or something. Good times. Go now!

Always fresh food and the chicken Kabob salad is great not to mention the Roast Beef with BBQ Sauce. Parking is an issue

Nothing fantastic from this sub shop. I know they have die hard fans and they are always crowded each time I drive by, but I only stop here when I’m by Wyoma Square. Good prices I guess, but they do make a mean steak and cheese sub. The rest are alright…

Not all Greek Salads are created equal… and Mino’s makes AWESOME Greek salads!!! I have tried some other items and I am also a fan of the Spinach Roll and the Onion Rings… yummy!!! Both go great with the salad too… Speedy, friendly and affordable. Downside: cash only and parking can be challenging.

Best Roast Beef in Massachusetts. Hands down! Some places add way too much beef(which can be a bad thing). At Mino’s everything is just right… the beef is excellent, and in the perfect proportions. Bun is not too thick, not too thin and slightly toasted. The sauce and mayo superb. Really not much more I can add. Mino’s is the BEST.

Super beef with extra sauce and cheese. This is all you need to know(although the chicken tenders were pretty good too.) Add a few malted beverages in before hand and this sandwich is the stuff of the gods.

Five stars because what they do they do the best! There is no better roast beef. No better Greek salads. No better steak subs. Average prices, good service, it can be very busy, same owners for years. I think they can fit four or five cars in their lot. Mino’s also has lots of late night muchie memories for me.

ahh, Mino’s. Anyone who attended Pickering Middle School knows that Mino’s is *the* place to go afterschool. Just their french fries are amazing – golden, crispy and delicious. The roast beef subs are the best though. I wouldn’t go to any other place to get them. Parking is tight, as is expected from a small restaurant/take-out place. There are a few tables and chairs, but I wouldn’t go there to dine in. Also, the people there are very nice, and the prices are very reasonable.
