Absolute Fitness & Sports Performance

I recently completed the 1^st ever Built to Impress program at Absolute Fitness. The program was challenging, fun, and most importantly effective. I must say I’m impressed with Jeff and the rest of the staff at Absolute. They are always very encouraging, friendly, and professional. It was also great seeing the youth sessions and how much fun the kids are having while putting in work. I know my self and my family have found a great place to get and stay fit.

Jeff and his crew at Absolute Fitness run various classes for different audiences. My wife and I have been participating in the Adult Fitness classes for 8 to 9 months now, so it’s time for me to sit down and write a review.
The TL;DR version is this — Totally worth it!
I’ve never been a fan of «the gym». Boring. Hard work. Demotivating.
It’s a different experience at Absolute Fitness. The Adult Fitness classes keep me interested and motivated, and give me outstanding fitness value for the time that I invest.
Every class involves a new combination of workout exercises covering cardio, strength work and body sculpting. Jeff and his trainers are educated in and apply research based principles in developing each fitness program. Their philosophy focuses on proper form to maximize the effectiveness of each exercise. Over the weeks and months you can really see how the variations in the training program build on each other to yield tangible results.
I also want to mention that the other participants in our classes are simply great people. The atmosphere is collegial, not competitive, with people encouraging each other and a positive attitude all round. Newcomers are welcomed into the group and supported by the trainers and the other class participants as they come up to speed.
I’m more fit than I was twenty years ago and I look forward to every session at Absolute Fitness. Worth every penny and then some.

I had back surgery 6 months ago. My physical strength and weight are out of balance.
Jeff has me in small group of adults helping me work out to return to where I was prior to surgery. He gives me individual attention and a vigorous workout that is helping build back muscles and endurance. He also very attentive that I do not overdue workouts and due the exercises correctly. He constantly reminds me this is not a sprint but a marathon. He is a great motivator. I highly recommend his services. This is not your ordinary gym workout. You will work hard and build personal confidence. Need I say more! Thanks Jeff!

My wife and I have been taking Jeffs adult fitness classes and love them. Every class has different exercises and every class something else gets sore:-) Its very personable and a fun atmosphere with the group setting. Very reasonably priced also!

My son has been going to Absolute Fitness & Sports Performance for over a year. Jeff really does a great job with the kids, keeping the workouts age-​appropriate. You won’t find elementary school kids pumping iron. Instead, you’ll see them using their own body weight to improve balance, stability, eye-​hand coordination, acceleration, and multidirectional movement.
Do the classes work? My son was a pretty good athlete before he even started Jeff’s sessions. I don’t have any hard measurements to indicate how much faster he is now. I do know he shows up to football camps and the first day of practice in top shape, running circles around most of his teammates while they slowly get in shape. I also noticed that he didn’t get a single injury last season despite starting on both offense (tight end) and defense (linebacker). Before we discovered Jeff, he twisted his ankles twice in one baseball season running in a straight line. Does Jeff’s class get some credit for that? Go watch some of the drills Jeff puts the kids though and I think it’s fair to say that he’s doing a great deal to prevent on-​field injuries — especially to the ankles.
Jeff also has a great Adult Sport Fitness class. While I’m not having as much fun as my son is, I could make a strong argument that I’m actually benefitting more from my workouts. I’m a office drone in my early 40 s and I was starting to feel it. Granted, it’s not the fountain of youth, but I can feel a distinct difference in my level of energy and overall condition. I’m even sleeping better at night. I have no business affiliation with Jeff’s company and I pay for all my sessions just like everyone else. I’m just a happy customer relaying my experience.

This place is truly dedicated to training and developing athletes. My son is in high school and plays football, baseball, and wrestles. We have tried other places in the area but realize now that they were not sports performance training centers. The training he has received there has been amazing and is truly bringing out and developing him as an athlete. On top of that their pricing is totally reasonable. Don’t waste your time at other places. If you really want to develop your child as an athlete or prepare your kid for high school or college sports this place is a must.
