Astro Locksmith

Have used these guys for years at least 8 – 10 times for various automotive related reasons, including also recommending them to friends and family for their needs. These are my go to guys !

Very efficient and reasonable. I had to have my car door re-​keyed-​cost me $ 150+tax. I would definitely use them again!

Very good service. Answered the phone the first time I called, easy to set up an appointment and the tech showed up on time and did the job quick. $ 100 to re-​key my front door (knob and dead bolt) which is exactly the cost I expected. Very good work. Hopefully I won’t have to use their services again but if I do have to call a locksmith I’d choose Astro again!

Very rude on the phone. In a jam out of state and he wants to rip me off. Trying to tell me he has to take the door apart to unlock it. Very unprofessional.

Lost my keys to my car, bought new keys the next day and got them cut here. Really quick and cheap and done right the first time, which is all you could ask for. Will come here again!

Locked my keys in my car at the grocery store today. Had a 3-​year-​old with me, which makes things like this feel extra stressful. Astro was in the parking lot within 5 minutes and into my car within 60 seconds! Amazing! And the fee ($ 60) was totally reasonable. I absolutely recommend Astro.

This guy is awesome. I called 15 other locksmiths on a Friday evening, he was the only one that would even consider looking at my sons truck door lock. Took door panel apart, fixed the lock tumbler and we were all fixed up in 20 minutes. Very fair price too. Would recommend him highly.

I locked myself out of my apartment while walking my dogs. I felt like a total idiot, but II had my phone with me and just called the closest locksmith.
He got here in 20 minutes flat (to Edmonds) and had me in the house within 60 seconds. No joke, 60 seconds.
His fee was also very fair and was just a flat rate.
I couldn’t ask for anything more of a locksmith. Easiest five star rating I’ve ever given.

This review is for on-​site residential re-​key work.
Five stars feels a little high, for no good reason, but it’s impossible to piece together anything they did that would knock that score down. So five stars it is.
Called them on a Tuesday and asked to have someone come out to replace a lock with a lost key. The guy very politely offered a counter-​suggestion: «just have us re-​key the lock for you. Save you some money.» He offered to send someone out that day, just a couple hours later. Nice! I was at work and had to schedule for later in the week.
In the interim, it dawned on me that it would be nice to have all my exterior locks and deadbolts re-​keyed. So the scope of work went up a little bit. Dude was a little bit late, and I had to call the office and check on him, but they were very prompt and professional about it – earlier job ran over.
Guy shows up and it’s obvious by his clothes he’s not overcharging anybody. He’s professionally but humbly dressed. I run the job by him and he gets to work right away. I had to close the doors behind him when he popped the locks to go re-​key them, but I had other workmen on site and that’s not an issue at all anyway. He did the work quickly and the locks are all rock solid.
Total for locks and deadbolts and new keys: $ 185. Paid by check. Very happy with these guys.

Went to Lowes and Home Depot and they used the same machine which didn’t have the correct blanks for my key. Astro took a look at my key, took 10 seconds to find the blanks, 30 seconds to cut 3 keys and I paid and was out of there in about 2 minutes. Keys were cut perfect. Great job, competitive prices. Located on the west side of Highway 99 a block and ½ north of Ted’s Sports.

I was referred here by Gene over at Lynnwood Key & Lock, who I was referred to from Eric at Brody’s (awesome guy to work with).
I needed two small pieces for a lock assembly for my car. A spring and latch. The man here (I can’t remember his name… =\) JUST so happened to have the very two pieces that I needed to get my lock assembly completed!
From the moment I went into Brody’s, it took me I believe just less than 2 hours and $ 40 before my car was running perfectly again! The alternate would have been several days (for a new assembly to be ordered) and $ 200!
Again, awesome people to work with!

There never seems to be anyone at this shop. I called ahead when I was first looking up a local locksmith, and the owner answered, and I came in that afternoon. I got a key duplicated for $ 5; in and out in 5 minutes.
Later, I stopped by on a weekday afternoon, and the sign said «Open», but no one was there (the door was locked). I called the number on the front door; it was the owner’s cell phone. He said he would be there in 5 minutes. I waited in my car, outside the shop, for 10 minutes, and he never showed. So I went home, unloaded my groceries, and came back 15 minutes later. Still nobody home. I waited another 5 minutes, and left for a second time.
Today (Saturday) I stopped by his shop once again, and yet again, there was no one there, and the door was locked!
Seriously, if you own a shop you have to be there for customers! If not the owner, then you need to pay someone to be there for walk-​ins. I am going to Fred Meyer from now on; they are just down the street, and cost about ½ the price of Astro Locksmith.

I found this place via Unilocal.Most locksmiths you find in the Yellow Page are mobile and cost a lot. This is a bricks-​and-​mortar location with mobile service. The owner is very friendly. If you bring the lock in yourself you save a lot of money. I was quoted $ 15 to re-​key a lock that I brought in plus $ 3 for additional keys, my suggestion is to pay cash! ;) I was out of the door in 15 minutes for a re-​key and 5 copies. The price was great and so was the service
I am a real estate broker and have had nothing but problems with keys copied by Home Depot/Lowe’s with their Axxess cartridge-​style key copier for non-​locksmith resulting in keys that don’ t work and get stuck and jam in the lock resulting in having to r&r the current lock which is additional time and money. I only go to a locksmith because it’s done right the 1^st time.

these guys were really nice and reasonably priced. they didn’t even make fun of me for locking myself out of my own house!
I gave them a call and about 20 minutes later a nice man showed up and had me in my house in no time.
the best part was that they have a flat fee too! none if this $ 80 for a truck roll and then another $ 25 every half hour.
