Luxury Nails

My daughter and I just returned from this salon after having pedicures and our nails filled. After we left the dimly lit establishment to our horror in natural light discovered what an awful job theses folks did. Our acrylic nails were barely filed on the sides, the inside of the nail beds never cleaned from excess acrylic, the tops rough and jagged, cuticles untrimmed. I had a French manicure polish, which was spray painted on, the white tips do not extend from end to end. The acrylic fill was placed so sparsely that it has severe ridges, looks as if I already need a fill. My poor daughter had similar quality with her fill. The clincher is during my pedicure another nail technician filled my nails at the pedicure chair, he was standing up and using an electric sanding device while leaning over my foot spa, I feared he would drop this into the water electrocuting me. My daughters pedicure however takes the cake, an absolute disaster. No cuticle trim, nail beds not cleaned and the polish job without exaggeration looks as if a 4 year old child painted them — smudged, missing areas, polish on skin, bubbles. We paid $ 100 for this poor quality service. I have never written a Unilocal review, but I feel folks should be informed. I am embarrassed for them for allowing us to walk out of their salon looking this way. I will not be a returning customer. Be warned if your considering a visit anytime soon!

So I came here to treat one of my best friends to a mani-​pedi for her birthday. We just walked in, and they saw to us very quickly, which was very nice! We would have been content to luxuriate in the massge chairs for a bit. The massage chairs were excellent and really hit the right spot! Pedicure was alright– I was told to put my feet into what turned out to be scalding hot water! But it was cooled down, so ok. The paint job on my toe nails could have been better… I haven’t been kicking rocks, and yet the edges look a bit chipped off. On my fingers, I got French tips, and it actually looks pretty terrible. The white tips don’t extend all across the nail and are uneven. The pink and clear top coats were put on unevenly and again, not over the entire nail, so spots were missed. I decided not to say anything since I didn’t want to fuss on my friend’s birthday. However, the real kicker is that the paint on my fingers didn’t even make it 5 hours without chipping! I was very disappointed. The staff was very friendly, so they get an extra star for good customer service. But otherwise, I would not reccommend. Very pricey for the quality, and they didn’t combine for mani-​pedi like other places do.

it was around 7:00pm on monday. i went to the luxury nails in alderwood mall, which is towards the corner on the way to the kids play area… i have already got my acrylic nails done there it was few months back n one man did my nails… thnk he’s the best of all the women there… so i have decided to do my acrylic nails again on 01/04/10…there were two women n i went inside to give them a chance… she didnt even listen what iam saying n she was in a hurry doing it… she started doing my nails… even hurted me… n did a worst job… i have never expected… my nails look so weired now… n i have spent 30 $ for this horrible service… im thinking to take my nails off n get a new set again… i would never ever go back to this nails salon in aderwood mall…
