So this place looks HUGE, but i’m not sure if it’s because of the high ceilings. I like this particular location, because of the parking lot is easy to get in and out of. Most other Nordstrom Rack’s share the parking lot with other stores in Commercial areas, so it’s most likely packed with cars even if they’re not Nordstrom Rack Customers.
I usually walk out of this place with something. Whether it’s shoes or clothes or some accessory, it’s something. Most deals are pretty good, but unfortunately, you have to check back regularly, because a lot of the stuff is a discontinued product or odd lot. If you have the time, it’s worth checking out and trying to have a substantial savings. Granted you’ll occasionally run into an item where even with the heavily discount off MSRP, the deal is questionable.

Great shoe and clothes selection. The watches, purses and makeup is somewhat less variety than other nordstroms I have been too. But you will definitely find something at a great deal!

I love shopping at this store and love the customer service.

Not a great Rack compared to other locations, and the real Nordstrom is right down the road and has a much better selection and actually pretty good prices, making this Rack pretty useless in my opinion. I went to the men’s section and it was a disaster, like a bomb went off, clothes everywhere, size tags incorrect, unorganized, pure chaos. I was looking for a coat and they had the same 4 coats over and over again in different sizes all scattered throughout. It is almost fall, so I would think they would have coats, but nope.
Disappointing.
Parking was the only pro, there were plenty of spots, and now I know why…

This location is just literally 3 mins drive away from Alderwood mall. The place always looks a bit messy especially the shoe rack section. Basically Nordstrom rack is a place for off season, or returned items. Every now and then if you’re lucky you can score a good deal. Mackrage jackets usually cost around 600 $ cdn and I saw some that were 350 $ usd. If you catch them with clearance sales then yes their deals are awesome!!! They sell brand names such as Gucci, Prada etc sunglasses for about 99 $ usd when usually it would cost 300 $+ in Canada. They sell anything from handbags, jewellery, clothes (men, women, kids), make-​up, shampoo etc. You need to be patient and spend an hour digging around and going thru all the racks if you want to score some good deals. I didn’t find any good deals this time plus our Canadian rate is not the best at the moment. Plenty of parking available in plaza.

Retail is retail; it’s the service that carries clothing stores. Service is not good. Although I understand that it is a busy store at all hours, I still believe in a certain standard of service. I tried to get an employees attention for help but no one helps. When I finally got a young lady’s attention, she greeted me with a «huh?» Not enthusiastic or motivated, I seriously hope it was her off day because if not, she shouldn’t hope to go far in life.
Customer service is one of the things that’s keeping brick and mortar retail alive and if there are employees saying huh to customers, I have little hope.
I give this store 2 stars only because of the gentleman at the shoemate section. He was polite, helpful and informative. Hire more of his kind please!

i was in nordstrom rack today and let me say this store needs better customer sevice, i walked around the whole entire store 3x just to see if i would get recognized by any associate. i did not get help not 1 time. the store is very messy and all clothes are just thrown on racks and on the floor let me say shoes are everywhere. i couldn’t even move my cart that i had to leave it on the side and leave because it was a huge mess. the only place that i saw that was organized was the mens department. i dont think i will be shopping here again

This Rack is big in comparison to the other ones I’ve been to. Their clearance rack is even more awesome as its 2 long racks for each size. Clean and well organized by brand, I always seem to find something here.

Joe from the Men’s Department is the BEST. He remembers his customers, is happy to work with you, flexible, and gives great feedback. We always try to see him when he’s working.
The entire Nordstrom staff is friendly and engaging.

Every time I shop here I find something to buy. Great selection and quality. The staff usually leaves me alone while I am shopping around (which I like), but they are efficient in the dressing room and checkout areas. The checkout lines may be long at times but you can tell that they try to work quickly. They always have smiles on their faces too.

Shoe section is a mess, every store has been the same. There are some OK deals, though nothing really that great. Goodwill has a more organized shoe section. Long wait lines and big crowds, at least get a coupon for this nonsense. Sigh

This is my favorite place to shop. I understand what people are saying about the overwhelming, over stocked, and disarray of the shoe section. However, my policy is just to not mess with it. For women’s shoes they have a much more organized designer shoe section that I browse with no problems. I have found super deals on Tory burch, Christian Dior, and uggs. I always find great clothes to from dresses to basic tops to denim. I love the customer service and the convenience to the mall and whole foods. You are doing yourself a disservice if you are shopping in the area and you don’t come check out the rack!

This nordstrom rack is ok. I was happy with my visit because I found a pair of Topshop skinnys for 24 $ (in the clearance section), which are usually 70 $+. I never was a big fan of the shoes not being in boxes, its so dirty and unorganized. I will be back again though!

I needed a pair of of running shoes so I ran into Nordstrom’s rack to grab a pair. I found two pairs of them thinking, «great! I’ll have another one as back up!» At least that’s what I was hoping. I wore the first pair for a couple months and more or less had it ruined by bleach but that’s not what OUTRAGED me. The second pair of shoes I now put on had the air bubble gash and now I can’t wear it without ankle roll and pair. Mind you I’m not exactly heavy, I weigh 170 pounds and 5’11. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR and buy your shoes elsewhere. They sell defective merchandise. I really doubt I’m ever going to shop here again. Trust me, alderwood mall is less than a half mile away.

I come here often with my mom on the weekend to check out what they have in stock. Some clothes here seem ridiculous, but if you look carefully, you will be able to find some clothes at a very reasonable price.
Try avoiding weekends though. It can get very full.

Maybe I just don’t have the patience to sift through every single rack, but I come here expecting to be blown away by deals on quality items and almost always leave empty-​handed. A lot of things that do spark interest are usually close to «regular» prices, which defeats the purpose of visiting Nordstrom’s sister store for the budget-​conscious.
There are a couple of pluses that have been consistent with each visit, though. One is that my boyfriend has been able to find reasonable deals on nice jeans and basic tees. The men’s section is only a small fraction of the vast women’s, but that leaves less room for ridiculous items that make you wonder who’s in charge of approving these products. It’s also much easier to navigate. The other plus is the lingerie and hosiery section. Decent selection of reasonably priced bras and other undergarments without the Playtex look or fear that they’ll fall apart after a couple of washes.
The shoe section is a hot mess. There’s hardly room in the aisle for two people, shoes are put back in the wrong sections, and the selection is more miss than hit. I made the mistake of coming here during what I later found out was prom week. Never again.
I wouldn’t discount it completely, since there is quite a lot of product in stock. It’s low on my list if I’m on the hunt for something specific, but it’s possible that there are hidden great finds if you’ve got a couple of hours to browse.

SHOE wonderland! Lot of size 5−51÷2! I am a bargainista, I want to find deals!
I come here to get good deals on shoes, workout clothes, tops and the occasional pant. I have snatched up some great deals at good ol Nordstrom Rack!
My best deal so far is a jacket that was originally $ 118, found on the clearance rack for $ 17.85!!! Hell yeahhhh!
Just bought some Puma shoes in the kids section yesterday (for myself of course!) for only $ 36!

You’re still going to spend a good dime or two to get some quality things out of here. Because of the still-​high pricing, I only come here if I’ve done my online shopping due diligence, and I’ve showroomed it at the regular Nordstroms, and I’m willing to wait to see if it shows up at the Rack.
You can score some really great jewelry and sunglasses. I like trying on the shoes, but it’s always so messy and disorganized there.

This location is not nearly as good as the one in Bellevue or Northgate but it’s close to my house so I usually come to this one first. This location is much smaller than the other locations and does not have as great of a selection — but sometimes I get lucky and find something good.
The lines are always long but they go really fast. This particular location is generally good for jeans because I think less people come here than Northgate/​Lynnwood so they are usually pretty good about having jeans in my size.
All in all, not a bad location — come here for rare sizes, go elsewhere for selection.
