Oh my gosh. I was looking up places to get a fried chicken fix and stumbled across this. Fried chicken didn’t even matter anymore, and if you know my love affair with fried chicken, you would understand just how serious that is. The excitement. I Facebook messaged my best friend, a Peruvian born and raised and living in Lima. Just couldn’t contain myself. When we got our food, it took me right back to Peru, from the perfection of the pollo a la brasa right down to the red onion salad and the bottled diabetes they call a beverage. The beautiful thing about Peruvian food is that it’s filling and satisfying but I don’t feel like I’m going to die(like when I eat too much fried chicken). Service was classic Peruvian hospitality — humble, patient, and inviting. Very affordable, too! I plan on bringing my parents next time.

Roasted chicken was really good, tasty and juicy. Place is a bit small with only a few tables – more of a grab-n-go food place.

Yuca was on point– soft in the middle, Crispy on the outside. The chicken was good to but not the best I have had since I live in northern Virginia and we have Peruvian chicken places everywhere. ;) They give you plenty of dipping sauces. I wish they offered more veggie sides– some sort of greens like spinach or something.

I was first introduced to this place by means of using Bitesquad — the food ordering service. It was just the closest to my house, so I went for it, after seeing it driving past multiple times. I ordered the half chicken, with fries, and salad. The chicken is delicious, and they do it very well every time. The salad and fries were good too, I liked the dressing. I ordered it a few times since then, and one of those times, they gave me soup instead of fries, which is forgivable, because the soup wasn’t bad. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is the location. It’s a little hard to get to in terms of parking, and after you’ve parked, The urge to keep trying to look out the window to see if your car is still there is strong. It’s also right out on Rainier, which is a BUSY street, which some people will like(I do — carwatching is entertaining), and some won’t. If two people come here, I recommend the whole chicken, it’s a LOT, but it’s a good size for 2 people to safely feast upon. All in all, I love this restaurant, but not so much the location, although that is definitely not a dealbreaker for me.

Had this once and I can say that the chicken is pretty tasty, gets pretty crowded so that should say something. Location wise, it’s pretty hard to locate it unless you have friends who’s been there before. I would totally come back again if craving hits me!

This is the only place I have found where I can get my Peruvian fix– without having to cook it myself, or fly home to Peru! :) The staff is super friendly too. I go there and order a variety of dishes, even if I have to take left overs home– so that I can have a taste of all of them :) My favorite is the Aji de Gallina. AWESOME. and their Roasted Chicken is just like in lima. The Lomo saltado is missing a bit more of that smoky taste I like– but it is good, and will definitely give you the«fix» you need when you just have to have lomo saltado! :)

I ordered the yucca fries, papa la huancaina, and a whole chicken with salad and rice instead of fries. Everything was really good! Chicken was flavorful moist and juicy. I normally don’t like white rice but this rice was on point. I will definitely be back for the yucca fries!

All they try to do is chicken — and they do it extremely well. Super tasty. Limited seating, I think only 5 tables, so be aware of that. A little love to their seating area could go a long way, which is why I only went with 4 stars. If I lived nearby, this is the kind of place I would grab and go from all the time.

Tallarin saltado de pollo was a pretty resounding meh. Get the roasted chicken. You will have no regrets.

Oh yes, peruano food is always a treat. This is one of the very few places that serves authentic Peruvian food in the Puget Sound area. First time I came in here, the three of us were the only non Spanish speaking people. That’s a sign that this was going to be a good place. The menu has the typical chifa you’d find in Peru. Lomo, ceviche, roasted chicken, etc. They had ran out of chicha morada by the time we arrive so we «settled» for Inka cola instead. The food was very, very good. The lomo saltado could have been a little more seasoned but the aji de gallina was spot on. The roasted chicken was tender and the sauces on our dishes didn’t disappoint. I have since been back a few more times and have had a consistent meal every time. The portions are good and you’ll have some leftovers. The restaurant staff are really nice people. It can get a little full inside at dinner time. The restaurant is located off 99 and there is some parking in front. If you’re a city dweller like me, Lynnwood can be a bit of a drive but it’s worth checking out.

Friendly service. The lomo saltido was good. The chicken was great. Tasty food, in large portions. Everything was fresh, and seasoned well. Definitely will be back there for more. Went back last night(9÷18÷2015) and hand the Ocopa, and their fried rice with beef. Yeah, this place is worth the drive(I’m in Bothell).

Just doing a great job. Parking is a bit wonky, location is sorta so-so… But they have continued to improve their location, real booths in place now. Very Warm and friendly folks, food is just amazing. Simple, but honest and fresh ingredients and epic flavors! Love it love it! Also, as a side note, young woman at the counter is stunning… I know I know, irrelevant, but just lovely and friendly.

Authentic and unique, but my chicken was bland. I would skip this place if I were you.

Delicious, authentic little place. It’s simple atmosphere and fantastic tasting food make it a great spot to eat and hang out with friends or family, or by yourself. The chicken was tender and moist, the Cassava fries have a great consistency, similar to potato steak fries, but slightly chewier. I love that they automatically bring out the condiments, and their house made hot sauces are incredible. They don’t muck around on the heat, either– you better try a test taste first if you aren’t comfortable with the spicy foods, because I am quite comfortable with them, and my lips were still warm. Which makes me happy :) If you’re tempted to stop by, don’t fight it! Just park your car, then park your butt at a table, because you’re gonna wanna sit still while your taste buds go for the ride of their lives!

This was our first time visiting this place our previous experiences were just ok but this next weekend April 2015 we went there crazy rotisserie chicken Peruvian fries and the delicious sausage usually proven restaurants are known for I must say the chicken was good. The waiter was very straight forward just interested on taking the order without any greeting. They had a green sauce and a orange sauce on the table. I pour some of the orange sauce on my food and gave her a bite. WHAT??? Extremely bitter. I was very nice about it and I told the waiter in a very discreet voice so nobody else to hear me, that the orange sauce was bitter and it was probably one of the ingredients that had gone bad. She acted very surprised I’m very quickly brought me a different sauce from the kitchen this time the sauce was really cold I assume she pod if she were to bring me one from the fridge it was going to be fresher than the one on my table. I was very thankful and quickly I tried it to find out that it had the same exact flavor so then again I was very discreet and I told her that it seemed to be that the whole batch was bad. I asked her if she had tried the first one so she could know what I was talking about she said no and I told her that I would recommend that she pulled the orange sauce is from the other tables because it was simply a bad batch. What did she do? nothing :( The overall experience was not a good one.

I was pretty disappointed in this place actually. I had high hopes and it seemed really authentic but wasn’t really great. I’ve lived in Mexico so I love the roasted chicken there but this really isn’t it. They gave me burnt rice and like pinto beans. The chicken was well mutilated and not much was left. Maybe I had a bad experience but I won’t be back. They need to get some corn tortilla’s and some mexican rice, and some good beans. Also they need to make sure the chicken is done right. Hope this helps, hopefully I can find a good authentic place close by that does it right.

I came here with a good friend because we were hungry and too lazy to cook. I was thoroughly pleased with our entire experience. Dining area was small, maybe seats for 25 or so. While my dining companion and I waited on dinner, there were several takeaway orders that walked out the door. Where shall I begin? We started with a papa rellena — mashed potatoes stuffed with seasoned ground beef, hard-boiled eggs and olives. The appetizer was served with marinated raw onions on the side and enough for two to split or for one hungry, selfish diner. We both went with their mainstay: roasted chicken. I changed my order from ¼ to ½ when I saw the chicken hit another table. After a couple bites I was glad that I did. HOLYFOWL, ITWASAMAZING. The chicken was succulent and the skin was flavourful and crisp. I could have eaten more chicken skin on its own, it was THAT good. I tried my friend’s beans and rice, the latter of which was very tasty and seasoned with broth. I went with the usual order of salad and fries, liberally sauced with the green cilantro jalapeño sauce. I could have stolen the bottle from the table but since I want to return, I figured theft on my first visit might be ill-advised. No room for dessert this time around. They have custard and some ice cream but I was happy to leave with the memory of that chicken on my taste buds. As I sit here typing, a couple at another table is demolishing an entire chicken plus 2L of Inca Kola! I will be back and I will try other items. I might even so takeaway from here on those nights when you are lazy but want something healthful… like Peruvian roasted chicken. PS. Our server was very friendly and before she went home for the night, she stopped by our table to thank us for coming and to tell us good night. It was a nice touch.
