Sleep Train Mattress Centers

We purchased a nice full sized mattress for our 11 year old son. Reggie explained the benefits of investing in a quality mattress and we are happy we made the jump from the cheap one! Since getting the mattress, we’ve had several sets of adult company sleep on his bed and they really liked it. We were happy with the customer service and the time she took to answer all of our questions. We were able to buy a much better mattress than we had originally planned because the financing was so quick and easy. We also received a free mattress stand. Thank you Reggie Arnold!

I have purchased four mattresses for my home and six mattresses (for a family that I am sponsoring in relocating) from Sleep Country and we have only had very positive experiences. My husband and I bought a very high end Stearns & Foster with the tempurpedic adjustable base, two mid-​range Sealy’s for our guest rooms and another nice bed for our daughter. Each time they have been very clear about our expectations for the beds (given the varying price points) and if we haven’t liked them, they have the 100 day exchange policy. Also, Josh and Chris were so wonderful when helping us find the best deal possible for buying five twin beds for the family we are helping! Josh, the manager, really went the extra mile and I highly recommend working with him. We will definitely continue coming to Sleep Country for all of our mattress and pillow needs!!! Thanks again :)

I purchased a mattress on 5÷11÷15 at a discounted price because I was given for free a old model returned box spring. The salesman Joshua Rigsby was very clear that the box spring is not returnable even if we return the mattress. Invoice also clearly says no return, exchanges or refunds for box spring.
Today I went to store and worked with Seth and Holly who set the return of my mattress for this coming Wednesday. They do not carry the pillow top plush which is what I need and the firm was just too firm or I would have exchanged. I also offered the bed frame back even though they first asked if I wanted to keep it. I said I was not using it. They wrote of the return invoice and on my way I went. Easy enough.
Then a few hours later they (Seth and Holly) call and tell me their manager said that I have to return the box spring too or we would have to pay $ 170.00. My husband and I both explained that we were clearly told by Mr. Rigsby that it was not returnable and even paperwork states this. Their manager is out of town they tell me but he is saying we have to return it. So they can speak to him but he cannot call me until Wednesday when he is back and they are suspending my pick up.
This exchange was very upsetting to me. Why did they not discuss this in the store? I will hope that this company will do the right thing and not cause me anymore undo stress regarding this matter.
UPDATE: 6÷28÷15 A gentleman contacted my husband within the last hour and has now offered the box spring to us for $ 150.00. Again my husband told him no. The main issue here is because we were told we would not be able to return it no matter what we no longer have one.
I am at this point feeling harassed.

Great experience with the store manager. He took the time and listened to us. I believe his name was roger. He was great. We ended up spending more than we wanted, but that’s because he’s a great sales me and we are so excited to get what we ordered! Best part, they are delivering it all to our new apartment and setting it all up!

I took my grandmother here yesterday to purchase her third mattress from this company in two years. She continues to get a returning customer discount, which is why she decided to return.
The experience was lacking. First off: upon entering the store, a young man was cleaning the front entry glass door with windex. Instead of letting myself and my grandmother enter the store before spraying the cleaner, he continued his «cleaning duties» which resulted in windex getting into my eyes. My eyes burned all day. Once inside the store I observed that there were four employees, none of which greeted us, until we greeted them. No approach, no interest from any rep to help us. When we finally got the attention of one young rep, our transaction began. We were taken up to the front, so he could look up the mattress my grandmother had purchased for herself prior, where there was another rep cleaning with Lysol right in front of where we were standing. The cleaning product situation just made the entire time in the store unpleasant.
During our transaction, the young man helping us was obviously busy, when the phone rang. Three other reps in the store and nobody was jumping to answer. This is when, who I assume was the manager, who was sitting on a couch near the front crocheting, asked another rep sternly, to answer the phone. WTF? I don’t know if these folks work on commission, but clearly they weren’t eager to earn any.
After our transaction was complete, I was relieved to get out of the mist of cleaning products that had been used.
The price was fair, as my grandmother got a $ 200 discount.
The best part of the experience was the delivery guys. They had great attitudes, even when their employer makes them deliver a mattress after 8pm on a Sunday. They were fast, friendly, and personable.
The whole experience only gets a 2 still.
If and when we go to get another mattress, it certainly will not be at this location.

Sleep country: correct me if I’m wrong…
We were shopping for mattresses 3 mons ago and wanted to check all stores in neighborhood for option, prices
First stop was Savvy Mattress, right next door to Sleep country. Found king mattress for $ 1000.00 with box spring; liked it but wanted to check elsewhere if we get better prices on same thing.
So we went to Sleep country and described them the exact same mattress: company, name, even spring count. The sales guy showed us the exact mattress and price was between 2000 – 2500. We were surprised but didn’t mention prices at store next door. Here is where the fun began !!
We asked the sales guy is there any similar mattress with cost around $ 1000.
This surprised him and he said: «are you buying for yourself or someone else»
I said «for us»
He replied «you won’t get anything at this price.»
Then he gave us example «buying mattress at that price will be like buying a house without a roof. When I bought my house I paid for it with the roof. If there is no roof, I can get my house cheap but it is not worth it». He emphasized on roof multiple time.
We didn’t say a word and then he adds «Good luck to you guys getting something good at that price» and walked off.
We quietly left, went next door, bought the mattress at Savvy. Also bought second mattress just last week from Savvy. By the way Savvy gets 5 stars for no nonsense salesmanship and awesome prices.

Compared prices and decided to go with Sleep Country. Free SAME DAY delivery! They price matched and gave us a great deal. The delivery drivers called 20 minutes prior. They were very quick, professional and did a perfect job setting up. This is our second time purchasing from Sleep Country & would definitely suggest shopping there. I know I will!

after 1 year the simmons beauty rest was sagging to the point that you needed to lift yourself out of bed to just turn on your side. customer service sent out an inspector who told us that the mattress needs to sag by a ¼ inch more to use the warranty. we took the mattress down to the store and the manager agreed the bed was not to spec but he could not do anything about it. He said that it should sag the extra ¼ inch within 6 months or so, at which point we could call for another inspection.
You will not get any support from the company at all… I promise… im sure that warranties are rarely redeemed but for the few who have the misfortune of dealing with this company. good luck.

Their mistake could damage our credit
We decided to make our purchase of a Tempur-​Pedic mattress using their free financing option. We gave the sales associate instructions to put me as the primary and my wife as the secondary since she has a very short credit history. Instead the sales associate only used my wife’s information and the application was declined. We re-​applied the way we originally intended and it was approved immediately, but the damage was done and now my wife’s credit history could be affected. They apologized for their mistake, but only compensated us with $ 80 out of a $ 3000+ purchase. I am not sure how much this will affect us yet, but it is very frustrating. In terms of selection they are okay and we couldn’t tell whether the sales associate was actually knowledgeable or simply aggressive. If you decide to go there be cautious.
