I was very excited to order my cake, but dissapointed when 2 days later i was told u had to pay an additional 12 more for cake decoration… pretty much kinda claimed i was a liar bcuz i told them it wasn’t a new baker but an experienced worked that took my order.
They had to review the cameras to see if i was being honest. sad part was they only left né with 2 days to get a new cake.
Got same cake request for way better price service was great somewhere else…

Am not the type of person who leaves reviews but this place really pissed me off ordered a cake of the idea cake that I wanted I get nothing like my idea I over paid for a cake that I could of simply bought from superior. I asked to have the cake ready at a certain time, when I get there the cake isn’t ready so they make me wait half an hour or more. Never again will I buy anything from here.

Love everything about this bakery. The people who work here are very nice good customer service. I have placed all of my cake orders here! They have very good taste and the decorations are incredible! My last order was for my sons first birthday celebration with a 3 tire cake and a Mickey Mouse decoration! I was very especific on how I wanted it and I went and took my husband because he had never taste cake from there and we were even able to go for cake tasting!!! How fun does taht sound !! We choosed three different flavors for our cake and I even took a picture of the cake I wanted! When we received it I was pretty amazed on how it turn out! I felt in love with it! A special shout out and thanks to the girl who works on the fondant cakes! She helped me out a lot! My sons cake was everything on his special day and his table looked amazing!!! I highly recommend this bakery! I would give it more starts if possible!!!

Some of the best cakes ! I’ve ordered cakes from here at a very short notice and cakes always taste delicious. Great fruit filings and always very moist. I’ve ordered cakes from here since 2007. Never been disappointed!

This place is way too expensive for the low quality of cakes. 12 inch vanilla cake with simple design of a boat for $ 60! The cake was less than good as far a taste. I’ve had better tasting from supermarkets such as albersons. People giving good reviews need to stop the hype. Never again sorry.

I love there customer service. friendly staff. I would recommend this bakery if you have a zero tolerance in excessive sweet. this will be your place. i love there pastries are very delicious.

Well im about a year late in This review But better late than ever !!! We ordered a 3 tier wedding cake for my in laws 25th Anni… It came out AMAZING very beautiful just like i pictured it. We always come to candle light they always deliver :)

Love Love Love this place!!! I had short notice on these cakes I needed and had already called two places who wouldn’t do them being on so short notice. Then I came across this bakery n decided to give it a shot. The staff is very friendly and r open to doing any type of cake :) I went in on a Wednesday for a Friday order and they were able to promise me the cakes with out a problem. (Relieved!!) Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised! I got my cakes exactly how I wanted them and on time! Everyone loved them n they tasted great! I will definitely be returning to this bakery for all my cakes from now on. They’re the best n their prices are reasonable n affordable. 5 stars!!!

My sister recommended me this place when I was looking for some good canolis. They are definitely very good and big! By far their pastries are delicious as well. Tried their macaroons in flavor they get an A+ sadly they get a D on freshness from 3 out of 4 that I purchased (all different flavors) they were old and way too hard. Will definitely be coming back and try their other pastries.

Not a fan of market cakes and my favorite is from Phoenix in Chinatown but these are soooo good too. Nice and fluffy, not too sweet. I could eat a slice every day. Good thing they are not to close to me or I would. My son doesn’t like sweets either and he really liked the mil ojas cake. He requested it for his bday coming up in 2 wks.

I love the cakes from this bakery. They have several desserts to choose from. I love buying the cakes from here and my favorite is napolean cake. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is okay. Its not the best, but who cares about great customer service when the desserts at this place are delicious.

I absolutely hate the plaza this place is in because its sooo crowded but it’s closer to me than the Norwalk location so I am a fan. The cakes are just as yummy and the people seem to be more attentive. No complaints here! Will be grabbing my bday cake from this place soon! :D

This place is amazing! Their cakes are super delicious and not overly sweet. The cookies and other desserts are also very good. Price I believe is well worth what you’re getting. I drive far to get a cake from them for parties all the time.
The bakery itself is beautiful and very professional. All the workers are extremely friendly. I recommend this place to everyone!

We were so excited to use candle light for my sisters wedding, March 2014. We came in Monday for a quote on a design, convinced we’d place an order. We used candle light for every occasion but to our surprise we left with no order and very upset. After showing the manager our design, she said it was ugly and if we wanted such cake we’d have to purchase the accessories ourselves… Seriously? Who makes business this way?

Love this place for a Napoleon cake. Delicious with fruit :) I have not tried others but I’m sure they are good. This place is closer to my home so I get cakes from here when I’m in charge of the dessert. I used to go to Norwalk not knowing I had closer place which is Lynwood. Oh! I forgot… do get and eat the cake the same day. Next day is not as good as the first day ;)

You can never go wrong with Candle Light Bakery. The cakes are just really perfect! My family and myself have been getting cakes from here since I was like 16! I recently came to buy a cake for my grandmother for her birth day. I have to say this was a perfect choice for getting my cake made here. Only 95 dollars for a full sheet Napoleon cake! You know it was a good cake when everyone at the party eats the entire cake and goes back for seconds. Definitely will continue coming here when I need to buy another birth day cake.
They will help you carry your cake to your car if you can’t. :)
