Where do I begin with this location… it is dirty, the food is stale, and to top it off its expensive. We came in on a Sunday morning at 11:00am, we were charged for dinner, which was $ 13 per person! This buffet is the epitome of quantity and not quality, not worth the wait or your money. You are much better off driving to Downey and getting some delicious Cuban food and pastries for under $ 10 a person!

By far the worst Hometown buffet I’ve been to. Where do I start, the food is bad quality to my liking, the drinks were flat which the manager did fix, no clean spoons, and it seems as if everything is falling apart. Desserts were limited and the carrot cake was stale, they didn’t have my favorite dessert which is the bread pudding. I had to flag a server to come clean my table they weren’t concerned with the cleanliness of the table. That’s all I have to say most likely not coming back. Oh one more thing the restrooms are horrible.

Worst hometown buffet I have been too. I thought by coming in I would have a variety of choices but to our surprise there was none. the food including taco shells, pizza, and fries are really hard and the desserts seem to have been sitting there for days

Why did I come here? Cold rice, greasy chicken, disgusting fish, all mediocre cheap food. Nothing spectacular except the bread pudding… Never again. Over priced gross food. $ 30 for 2 adults, I will go elsewhere next time

Definitely the worst hometown buffet I ever been to. The food is extremely bland and they don’t offer any variety that’s not the common potatos, mac cheese, pizza. This place is catered for kids only with these choices and worst of all the food is never refilled on time so you have many empty slots of food all over the place. Only good thing is the staff as they are very understaffed and have a good attitude about it.

The staff is really friendly. The lady at the register had excellent people skills. Had a short conversation with her like we knew each other from a while back. Lots of yummy foods to choose from and nothing was cold. There was a lady who was checking the temperature on all the foods. As we went to sit down the waitress came to our table and introduced herself, Judith. Really great personality and great work ethic. She then came with hot out the oven cookies. They were in graditude for having choosen this location to eat lunch. I would love to go back again soon.

I was willing to try this home town buffet. The parking is horrible. For a sunday morning i expected it to be crowded, but we found a table. We never got a waitress come to our table and greet us nore pick up the dishes. Not alot of variety. The best meat was the turkey or at least it tasted good. My son had chicken, pizza and macaroni and cheese. He said it was ok, but will never come here again. The service was missing. The food medeocre. I found food particles on the utensils. Gross. No cups for drinks. Over all I can say they will never see me again there or my family. Service is terrible. Food not good. Cleanliness missing. I am soo glad other htb are not like this one.

I had a wonderful experience here, the food was warm and delicious, they have new dinner and desert items. Upon check in, the lady I believe her name was Valeria was very sweet and held a nice convo with me. The restaurant was clean, the waitress was very pleasant and gave me a scratcher where I won a free beverage on my next visit. The manager Saul was SONICE and made sure I had a pleasant visit. I left very satisfied and happy. Thanks Guys!

First off, let me start by saying that my family usually likes going to Hometown Buffet. But it was our first time coming to this particular location and will probably be our last. First off, the place was way understaffed.(It was dinnertime on a Saturday.) Other than the one lady who charged us upfront, there was virtually no one else to assist the customers except this one very disrespectful busboy named«Dae». Dae was horrible. He constantly watched our table and bothered us with his irregular behavior. He was a huge pain. And he was very mean, he took away my younger siblings drinks because they originally ordered water and poured ‘em out. It’s not even that serious! I mean let the kids have their soda if they want. Also there were small kids roaming around the food bar unattended and Dae never told them anything. He was too busy watching our table! Anyway, the food was better than some of the other HTB I’ve been to, even though ithe food was barely warm. But the dessert bar was terrible too. There were barely any choices. Among them was warm mushy cheese cake, hard cookies, super sweet carrot cake, and stale cinnamon rolls with hardly any frosting. The only dessert items I liked were the ice cream and brownies. Although the ice cream bar toppings were all in disarray; the nuts were in the Oreo toppings, etc. Anyway, I expected better, but got this at this HTB. If you’re looking to go to a HTB, I highly advise you go to another. Or at least know what kind of restaurant you’re going to: one with bad service and mediocre cold food. :/

This is by far the worst hometown in the USA. it’s very dirty. They kept on running out of plates and food! They also never picked up the plates from the table. The food also wasn’t to good. The place isn’t very easy on the eyes and it had a well a unique smell.

The quality of their food here has really gone down. Taste more like school cafeteria food. I did not like the taste of anything. This includes the bland salad station selections. Plates are smaller now. Many bins were empty. They must go back to producing quality food or this place won’t make it.

Come here on weekdays it is the cleanest one weekdays the workers who pick up your plates are on it so I always leave a tip I come here when coupons come in the mail $ 7.99 per person instead of $ 11.99 plus $ 2.19 drink. I do enjoy when they have chicken for salad and feta but rare

Well I read all the negative reviews and that still didnt stop me from coming here. What a big mistake. Besides the small selection of food(I mean they had pancakes and hash browns on 2 trays each, like if that’s all people like!) there was this weird smell to the place. Maybe it was just me, but i doubt it. The taste to the food was just like any hometown if you’re still wondering at this point.

Well, it’s Home Town Buffet in the ‘hood…what do you really expect? I’ve been here a handful of times. And each time it was only because it’s cheap and convenient. On my last visit, I had a coupon that offered two free kids meals with one paying adult. Cool. That was perfect for me and my babies. And it was one of those days everybody was hungry and I didn’t want to cook. Plus, it’s close to home. It was very crowded. I had a little trouble finding a clean table. The eating utensils and plates look like they had water stains on them. You know like the dishwasher doesn’t rinse completely. So, wipe off the plate and fork before putting food on it. The food itself is OK. This night they had steak, ham, chicken, fish, tacos, shrimp and all the usual sides and desserts. Call me crazy, but I really like HTB bread pudding. Probably the only reason I continue to come here. I also like that they also offer orange whip, hamaica juice and vanilla coffee. I came here one day for breakfast and it was pretty good. The staff is nice and work hard for that $. So please leave at least a dollar for the person that take away the dirty plates. This location isn’t my first choice whenever I’m hungry. But I’ll continue to support it from time to time because it’s in my ‘hood.

LAME! Not at all how I remembered it. I loved Hometown when I was a kid. What the heck happened?! When I went last weekend the floors were sticky, there was a severe lack of variety, and the food was flavorless. Seriously. I got a dish that looked like chicken alfredo, except tasted like sh*t. The sauce was soooo watered down, I mean, even I make better chicken alfredo and I suck at cooking. The food was not the only problem though… *Word of advice to parents*: control your children! No one wants to eat something that your kid just put his grimmy little fingers in. Nothing annoyed me more than seeing that little booger stick his finger in the ice cream machine, take a lick, and go at it again, totally ruining the only thing in that whole place that perhaps would have been edible. *sigh*
