Julie is absolutely amazing. She did my make up for the Fashion by Rohini Trunk Show in Cerritos, California in April. Julie is always on time and ready to go. She makes sure that her clients are happy with the end results and her passion for the art of make up can be seen in her work. She stayed until the end of the event to make sure that every model’s makeup and hair remained flawless throughout the trunk show.
She is willing to travel for her clients and can cater to every event. Whether it is a bridal event, a fashion show or any special occasion you can definitely count on Julie. After my incredible experience with Julie at the trunk show I decided to visit her salon. Her salon is beautifully designed and the ambiance of the salon is one of a kind.

Love this place, very professional and attentive. Julie offered us refreshment drinks right away. Came for a trial and she knew exactly what I need it, she listened and gave me her professional feedback on what suited me better for my skin type, and my face shape. The final results, my makeup lasted all day long. I didn’t have to retouch at all, only my lipstick color. I receive many compliments from my friends, they love my makeup too. I highly recommend The Look By Julie for your special events. I will definitely book her for my big date!

Couple months ago I was in search for a good make up artist for friends wedding but I didn’t want to spend a lot. I came across thelookbyjulie, she did my make up for my friends wedding & let me tell you IT WAS FLAWLESS! Since then, I always go to Julie for all my make up needs. She really takes her time and connects with you personally. I felt that she really made me feel like a princess, she is pro at CONTOURING! I got so many compliments that night. Most importantly, her passion and dedication behind her work is seen through everything she does.
Thank you, thank you for always making me look my best & being such a genuine hearted person. I recommend her to all of my friends & family for all the beauty needs
P.S lastly, curls NEVER stay in my hair but I don’t know what she did that it stayed not only that it was perfect till the end of the night

I have gone to The Look by Julie on several occasions for eyebrow waxing. Each time, Julie has been extremely professional and sanitary.
The feel inside her beauty bar is like no other place in Lynwood, or the surrounding areas. Its something you’d expect in those high end locations like Beverly Hills.
Julie’s pricing is competitve and helped me save that little bit I would have spent somewhere else.
This place is truly a hidden gem in the city of Lynwood, and I highly recommend going here.

I came here to get my new Henna Tattoo of which i loved. Not only is it a nice, elegant, and clean salon but, it is also convenient to me as it is very close to my house.
They not only have great service but, also make you feel comfortable and trustworthy.
I will be back soon to get make up and blow out soon

So Happy I found this Lil Gem in my Hometown of Lynwood. This place is unlike any other place around. I absolutely loved the interior décor! Clean & Classy is always a plus.
Julie did an Amazing Job with my hair & makeup. She took the time to ask me what I wanted and liked. Julie genuinely cares for her clients and is great at what she does! Definitely made me feel & look beautiful for my friend’s wedding

I recently went to Julie to get my make up done for a last minute event. First I was impressed with how her beauty bar looked. It was very classy and elegantly done. Julie was able to get my makeup done in the deadline I had and I got compliments all night. I can’t wait to go back and visit her again.
She was also gracious enough to give me some makeup tips or advice when I asked! Definitely recommend her to everyone!

I have been to The Look By Julie to have my make up done a few times. She is great to work with; her salon is amazing, and she listened to everything I asked for. Julie you are amazing!!! Thank you so much for doing my makeup and Vanessa’s!!! Let me tell you… she finished our makeup around 1pm and our makeup held up all night throughout the wedding til 1am!!! I couldn’t have any more satisfied with the way our makeup came out… It was truly perfect and exactly what we wanted. Will definitely be going to you again and recommend you to others!!!

I scheduled an appointment to take a one-​on-​one eyeshadow lesson from Julie herself because I had no clue on how to blend eyeshadows properly. Julie was very patient and took her time to explain proper blending techniques. She showed me which brushes to use, how to hold the brushes (as a noob, I didn’t realize holding the brush a certain way makes a HUGE difference on eyeshadow application), and she showed me where to place the eyeshadow. I had such an amazing learning experience with Julie. I am actually going to schedule another appointment with her for highlighting and contouring lessons.

Absolutely love this place it is far beyond any beauty place you’ll find in Lynwood or any surrounding city’s. It is so nice and white and Julie is super friendly so you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I went in for a mini facial and came out really satisfied and considering the price I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their make up done, blow outs, facials etc.
