Although we didn’t get to have our wedding here due to freak weather( ) the staff are nothing but amazing. We had booked this venue over a year and a half before the wedding and they worked with us on everything! They are so helpful and amazing and will do anything to make sure you have a wonderful day. Even after we went back to the venue to pick up items we had left there at the rehearsal for the wedding they were so amazing and helpful, they had even saved our cake for us! It was also their partner hotel that helped us set up our plan b event. Definitely the pit falls of a January wedding but that was in no way their fault and I would still go here again for another event! Maybe a baby shower in the near future??? :D

If you are planning a wedding in the near future do yourself a favor and heed the warnings of the many 1 star reviews, because that could be you! Unfortunately Green Mountain Ranch could care less about your big day and will only deliver stress, broken promises, and disrespect… after they take your money of course. I attended a wedding here and aside from the good company of friends it was a disaster. A bride and groom should never have to go through the amount of stress that GMR put this couple through, especially on one of the most important days of their lives! What I witnessed was completely appalling! Construction was going on and nothing had been set up nor decorated as guests arrived. This meant that the wedding started about 2 hours late and only because friends and family set things up. The staff was also unprofessional and making fun of the guests in Spanish, not realizing that yes some of us do speak Spanish. But it’s green and serene and in the mountains! Don’t fall for it, you’ll likely just end up with your dreams crushed.

Stay away. The venue cares more about marketing and signing couples up than actually servicing their clients and following through on promises. We booked the Enchanted side, which at the time was still under renovation. They told us that it would be complete by February, far ahead of our July wedding. We returned in February and it was not done, but they kept promising it would be done by our wedding. When I arrived on my wedding day, the venue was still unfinished, including the landscaping. They ended up laying down ugly mulch instead of the landscaping that was promised(see my photo). There was still a dump truck unloading mulch to cover up the bare dirt. Workers stayed there until 7pm, even though our ceremony was supposed to start at 5pm. It was embarrassing having workers still on the venue while our guests were there. The groom’s room was a mess when I arrived. There was a hole still being cut out in the wall to install an a/c unit causing the room to be filled with drywall dust. Speaking of a/c, we asked Xavier and his staff multiple times, weeks ahead of our wedding, if the a/c works. We were told, to our faces, multiple times, that it does. It does not(see my photo of dead a/c). It gets hot in there, so watch out if you have a summer wedding. Here’s the list of the other things we were promised, but did not happen: –Doors were locked when we arrived –Smell of sewage when we arrived –Ceremony started late –Xavier, who was supposed to be onsite during our wedding, disappeared before the ceremony –No beer in groom’s room and no wine in bride’s room(Xavier promised us this) –No valet parking(Xavier promised us this) –No signature drink(our contract called for one) –No second bar and bartender(Xavier promised us this) –No guestbook/sign-in(our contract called for this) The largest broken promise was that the reception area would be covered and could handle rain. We were told by Xavier and his staff that the reception area would be covered. When we got there, it was indeed covered, but with some cheap plastic material that ended up leaking all over the place. The leaks were so bad that all tables had to be moved inside, causing a delay of about an hour and massive headaches. They spread around bright orange buckets to catch the rain, but that was useless as there was so much leaking. The dance floor was wet. The disorganization and incompetence carried on throughout the night, and it was only with the help of our friends and the DJ that we were able to pull everything together. It was a good wedding despite of the venue and the staff, not because of them. The only positive things I can say about the venue is that the food and the food service was great. That was the only thing that they pulled through on per the contract. Kudos to the kitchen and waitstaff. Everyone loved the food, and our guests also informed us that the bartender was very nice. If you do end up booking here(or already have), make sure you get everything in writing. Don’t trust that they will do what they say they will do. Communication is horrible with the venue, so expect to constantly be the one following up. Expect lots of anxiety and stress when dealing with the venue(things you don’t need when planning a wedding). If you are considering this venue, hopefully they have completed renovations and the Enchanted side is no longer one big pit of dirt and mulch. Even then, do you really want to deal with a venue that has a history of constantly misrepresenting themselves? Is that the type of venue you want to spend your money on? Maybe things will go well, or maybe not. It’s your money. By the way, after our wedding, we were promised a partial refund(see my photo). That, like all the other things we were promised, never happened.

Our grandson was married at the ranch this weekend and it was just simply great. The rehearsal was on Saturday afternoon and the staff was perfect making some last minute adjustments with ease. The wedding party had a lot of signs and special displays and the staff were helpful in setting things up. The wedding was Saturday at 4:30 which can be chilly this time of year. The staff had baskets of blankets for everyone and had heaters placed in strategic locations. Upon our arrival, everything was ready to go. The DJ provided by the venue was amazing… They had a volume control and did not blast us «Old Folks» out of our seats. In fact, during dinner were had Mr. Sinatra singing and we got to dance. The meals were very good and they took care of the two vegetarians with an excellent selection(not just heated veggies). The Eggplant Parmesan was perfect. The waitstaff was very attentive and cleaned up the tables almost invisibly. The support staff never let a heater go out, the bar staff kept us in good spirits, and the staff even assisted us during the last evening departure. We enjoyed the entire evening! Thank you Green Mountain Ranch!

My friends had a wedding here and it was a mix of emotions throughout the night. So, here’s how it went down from my perspective as a guest. On my friend’s wedding day in July, it was raining like cats and dogs. The venue looked very promising especially
