I have a hard time opening the door with no upper body strength and my cane, so the man who takes my order comes out and opens the doors for me, and walks me out with my order when it’s ready. Also, IMHO, they have the best Chinese food in town.

Sesame Garden, which used to be Lin Garden, is a great local spot for Chinese. It’s very affordable and worth the money you pay. The lady that runs it is very good and speaks English well. She is quick and efficient. Great meal place for take out and dine in(even though there are only about 20, chairs in shop to eat at), as long as you have a car. It is across the street from KMart and doesn’t deliver to campus sadly. However, if you can make it there, you won’t be disappointed. Note– If you’re a WIU or Spoon student you can get the college special for about $ 6, which is one of the best deals around!

A friend and I swung in here for some sushi while we were in Macomb for something else. Great sushi for very reasonable prices! We both got a combo plate with 8 pieces of nigiri(you get to choose), a seaweed salad, and one special roll off their menu. I had the Philly roll, which was quite good, and my friend had a spicy tuna roll which she greatly enjoyed. The sushi counter closes at 9 instead of the main closing time of 9:30.

Decent Chinese food and Sushi in a town that doesn’t have many options for such fare. The specials are enough for two meals! Prices are very reasonable.

Excellent food. They now have several tables(their other location had very few) but we prefer to carry out… you can’t go wrong here.

Good food, good price. I generally get the Orange Chicken and it’s always been great. No pork-fried rice anymore, only chicken-fried rice. Wide variety. I’ve also heard that their sushi is good, but I don’t touch anything with seaweed, avocado, raw fish, shrimp, or crab.

Nothing special. I ordered sesame chicken and fried rice with it. Sesame chicken itself is fine(still inferior to Yummy Chen) but the fried rice was literally just that. No veggies or meat in it. I much prefer Yummy Chen.

Same owners as Lin’s Garden. Still great Asian food! We get take out quite often! We mainly enjoy the fried rice, egg foo young, and chicken with mixed vegetables!
